A Place of Preparation

I am your host Christina Farris coming live from
turtle30cshell.com. Today I am talking on the place of
Preparation. Jesus prepares a home for us. Yet He
comes in and makes a home in our heart while we
live on earth if we invite Him. Jesus can not come into
our heart unless we invite Him. God has invited
everyone to live in heaven, however not everyone
has the golden ticket. To get in you have to have a
golden ticket. The golden ticket one must receive
Jesus as Lord. That golden ticket gives us the ability
when we die to walk on the streets of gold. It gives us
a new home a place for our soul to dwell. A place for
our soul to dwell in a incorruptible body. If we are
resurrected our body will change instantly to
incorruptible body. If we die and go on to be with the
Lord our soul is given a new body in which to live in.
Let us begin reading today’s passage.

John 14:1-31 KJV
(1)  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in me.
(2)  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you.
(3)  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also.
(4)  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
(5)  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not
whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
(6)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and
the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(7)  If ye had known me, ye should have known my
Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and
have seen him.
(8)  Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father,
and it sufficeth us.
(9)  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time
with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he
that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how
sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
(10)  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the
Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak
not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works.
(11)  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father
in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
(12)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on
me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater
works than these shall he do; because I go unto my
Father.
(13)  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that
will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
(14)  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
(15)  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(16)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for
ever;
(17)  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot
receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth
him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and
shall be in you.
(18)  I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to
you.
(19)  Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no
more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
(20)  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father,
and ye in me, and I in you.
(21)  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth
them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me
shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and
will manifest myself to him.
(22)  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it
that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto
the world?
(23)  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love
me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love
him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode
with him.
(24)  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the
Father's which sent me.
(25)  These things have I spoken unto you, being yet
present with you.
(26)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach
you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(27)  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
(28)  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away,
and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would
rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my
Father is greater than I.
(29)  And now I have told you before it come to pass,
that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
(30)  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the
prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
(31)  But that the world may know that I love the
Father; and as the Father gave me commandment,
even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

One of the greatest mystery of God has to do with our
spirit and His Spirit living within our hearts and
communing with us upon salvation. It not mystery in
the since of trying to figure out how it works, but a
mystery of  God that keeps us intrigued tell we join
Him in heaven and continues on through out life.
Christ was fixing to die and he was talking to his
disciples about spiritual things and the fact they will
not be left alone. One must remember that John is
writen to the Gentiles. Gentile people unfamiliar with
the Holy Spirit yet he speaking to people that were of
the Jewish faith. It is teaching of the Jews long before
the New Testament. When a Jew came to repentance
God did not leave him without the ability to follow
Him. In fact God anointed his people for his service. If
God anoints you for his service He will not leave you
without the ability to perform the task He has planned
for you to do. The regeneration of the Holy Spirit from
generation must be ignited in each believers life. What
I mean is, without the knowledge of the Holy Spirit it
leaves people without knowing that God is leaving a
communication device with them to comfort them by
bringing sweet assurance by His Word. Jesus in the
passage is providing the comfort the disciples need
for the days head.

When a love one passes the recall of their memories
stay with us. That the easy part to understand, but it
is the hope that continues with not so much new
wording, but the prophecy or foretelling of certain
events in one’s life. It something that has to be
experienced but can not be explained. However it like
God speaking to Joseph to take Mary to be his wife or
to go to Egypt to protect Jesus. Another example is
Peter going to speak to Cornelius being prepared in
his heart for the task. In Service for God is about
preparation.

Anything God has not prepared and God is not in is
not of God. Evil is not of God. If we love God we will
keep his commandments. If we don’t we will keep on
sinning. Yet even sinners know to do good and
maybe not have faith. That how the devil trap of
deception. Man even after salvation is still with fault,
the difference is faith. Deception is the greed for
money and lust there of. Doing anything to get it even
putting on a smile and demonstrating love to causing
someone harm. When a person goes to be with God
all evil is put away, and life continues in new
incorruptible body in heaven. When Christ comes into
the heart, sin is put away, but it still creeps in because
we live in this world, but the power of the Holy Spirit
is given to over come sin.

Jesus in the passage when speaking to the disciples
claimed to be the Father. Yet many say how is Christ
the Father. In the beginning of this message we talked
how Jesus’ Spirit came and lived in our hearts and
communed with us. Christ’s Spirit is the same as the
Holy Spirit and the Holy is the Spirit of Jehovah. In
physical form we see a Father and a Son. We
understand children are made up of both dna of both
parents. Christ conception was not normal birth. He
was conceived by the power of God by the Holy
Spirit. Mary received the Holy Spirit giving God the
ability to be born in human form. This has only
happened once. For the soul purpose of redeeming
us. Coming to teach to preach and to heal his people.
Let us look at another passage that explains the
Godhead bodily.

Colossians 2:9 KJV
(9)  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily.

And also in this passage

Matthew 1:23 KJV
(23)  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall
bring forth a son, and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Emmanuel being the Greek and Hebrew with different
spelling, meaning God with us. That how the Father
and the Son are one, though we see them as two
different persons like the Holy Spirit being the third
person of the Trinity, yet each part acting in unity with
the other parts, within the body of the Godhead
bodily. Jesus being the word which as been
discussed in other lessons and the Spirit going forth
yet dwelling in us and with us in our hearts, but it
does not make us equal, for His Spirit is not ours. Our
spirit is different. However our soul was made in the
image of God to live with him for eternity, but if we
choose not God we find we are not part of the family
of God facing a life of torment because of our sin in
this life. Are you standing half in hell already wanting
to be consumed or are you going to reach up and take
the gift God has graciously give which is salvation
through Christ Jesus.
