Final Warning Of Isaiah and Sign

Daily Devotions for Friday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 66:1-24 KJV
(1) Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
(2) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
(3) He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
(4) I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
(5) Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
(6) A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
(7) Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
(8) Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
(9) Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
(10) Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
(11) That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
(12) For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
(13) As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
(14) And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
(15) For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
(16) For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
(17) They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
(18) For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
(19) And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
(20) And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
(21) And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
(22) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
(23) And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
(24) And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

We live in a time, were God’s people are not always what they should be, me included. Yet what I hope and pray this that the norm for Christians today is to strive to be more like Jesus. Not to be like the priest and leaders of Jewish faith had become over the years. Desiring wealth and greed and yet offering the sacrifice on the altar of God. People see the power of gold and desire it, forgetting the power of God. If God is able to use the earth has his footstool, then where his seat but in the heavens. He sees the suffering of his people and of the down trodden. Yet he see evil kings and rulers of the earth, knowing they care more for those who can line their pockets then those you can not. What is five dollars among friends, it is a gold mine to a poor woman. Some might call five buckets the new American penny. It use to be the one dollar bill. Yet the ten dollar bill is soon to be like the penny and fast becoming more popular then the five.

There is a point when money out weighs what you will do for God then you are on the devil’s side. You have no fear of what God will do to you. If you have not fear of what God will do, then you will have a day when you will tremble before the Lord in fear before He cast you in the fiery pit called hell. The point is this. God cares for his own, those that seek Him and seek his will. God loves those that love Him, He loves those that tremble at His word. Some might think that is dictator. Yet others see God only a God of mercy. Some respect the laws of God but not God.

The truth of the matter is that God gave signs to those of no faith of His existence. God made a promise to Israel that would be carried to the Gentiles about Christ. That there would be people brought to Christ whether in flesh or incorruptible flesh by the spirit of the Word of God all men far and wide would seek healing from every nation.

As Televangelist make their claim some fake and some genuinely love God and do all in their power to serve God humbly while others use their wealth to gather more gems, rubies and gold. Caring little about the law of God or the law of man. Caring little about abusing God’s word only making a mockery of faith. Yet it is proven God’s word is power and those who find the treasure within, rich or poor, knows God loves the repented man. Some leaders become blood suckers for wealth using God, instead bowing to His throne.

Where are you? Are you using God and his kingdom, or are you genuinely loving God back. The wealth is in the word of God. Learn the power but never learn the love and you loose faith in God. Learn the love of God, who chooses not to destroy man for every mistake, and you find God’s mercy and grace. As we close Isaiah let us not forget the judgment to those who fail to follow after God and His Word. The prophesy that all will come to His word. Come to Israel seeking healing. Many come today to Jordan river to be baptized, and for prayer. Many walk on the highways of our Lord, seeking healing and salvation. Yet salvation can be found anywhere you stand. You can pray to God whether you kneel or roll down a ramp. Just humbly seek God where you are. And follow after Jesus in the way He lived.

Dear Heavenly Father guider our footsteps this New Year and allow us to see your grace with your footstool being earth. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Mark 12:36 KJV
(36) For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Daily God’s Promises: James 2:3-8 KJV
(3) And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
(4) Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
(5) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
(6) But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
(7) Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
(8) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

New Year: God Is Going To Bless His People

Daily Devotions for Thursday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 65:1-25 KJV
(1) I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
(2) I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
(3) A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
(4) Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
(5) Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
(6) Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
(7) Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
(8) Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
(9) And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
(10) And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
(11) But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
(12) Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
(13) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
(14) Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
(15) And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
(16) That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
(17) For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
(18) But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
(19) And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
(20) There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
(21) And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
(22) They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
(23) They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
(24) And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
(25) The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

As I ring in the New Year at turtle30cshell, by heart is on a brighter future as believer. My concentration this year is on the blessings of God to those who follow Him. After a year of wrath of God through his laws, through both Old and New Testament that seemed to have no end. I am working on God goodness and mercy to those that follow in Christ footsteps.

Israel one of the greatest nations of the world, is only great because of their faith in God. They lost their wealth more times then not, but also gained it over and over again. Not by their own strength but the power of God. A nation that knows both the wrath of God on His people as well has God’s blessings. For the Christian community this example of God’s enduring grace as they follow in the footsteps of Jesus and looking through the life of God’s people of the Old Testament and New. Jesus being the everlasting covenant between God and man. The promise to both the Gentiles and God’s chosen people. See there always been people that because of their ancestry sin of idolatry that were closed off from the blessing of God from birth, yet not closed off to the point that if they chose to obey God, humble themselves and seek Him, He would be their God. In since that what the New Testament to the Gentiles speak. It speaks to a people not chosen for the task of preaching, but chosen to be God’s children upon faith in Him. Chosen not because of His will be enacted in their life, but because they sought out of their need for Christ. They obeyed the instructions of God not by force but by desire, even when they believed not. The saw the ways of God were good.

What is God’s word enacted, it about God choosing a people to be side show. I do not mean it quite that way, but yet the term fits in a since. God’s people are to be an example to who God is to the rest of the world. Yet does our life display it. I hope for humanity sake our life demonstrates the blessing of God and not the percussions of disobedience. If nothing else it is a warning the world. A warning that even if you are a hundred years old and receive Christ you are still saved. If you are 20 and die without Christ, you are without Christ.

My own rebellion years speak of the value of being God’s child during those years. What it means I found grace not by own will, but God’s will to teach me the blessings of being His child, and doing God’s will. Blessing of disobedience of salvation when I least deserve it. Blessings of God when I am in tuned to His perfect will of trusting Him. It means going through chastisement and the fiery furnace. If one examines their life and is truthful they can see God’s hand in all of it.

God loves the heathen but He waits for that day of knowing that if that heathen begins to act on the laws of God in his life, God will speak to His heart if He desires to know the reality of God’s existence. Some that do not believe agree they just do not have evidence of the reality of God.

A church with life of God growing within it will have proof of God living within the walls of it as well as proof that the devil is real. One person once said no one brings a gun to church, but most know now people get shot in churches as well as school and in our city’s streets. What the point that no where is safe and the reality of God’s protection has to do with whether it was your time to go or not. However you do not want to be on a plane with the pilot time to go, because surviving might be only half your battle because of injuries you receive in the crash.

The point is we make decision every day what we do. This New Year is no different. God grace is for all generations not just one group of people. If you want change it got to start now in the New Year 2015. Begin it with God and let God’s blessing flow has you search out the truth in God’s word and grow in faith.

Dear Heavenly Father may your grace run freely in our lives as believers and strengthen our faith this New Year so that we can receive your blessings. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Romans 10:20-21 ESV
(20) Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”
(21) But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

Daily God’s Promises: Romans 9:30-33 ESV
(30) What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith;
(31) but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law.
(32) Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone,
(33) as it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

New Years: All Things New, In The Hands Of The Potter

Last Post for the Year!!

Daily Devotions for Wednesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 64:1-12 KJV
(1) Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
(2) As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
(3) When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
(4) For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
(5) Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
(6) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
(7) And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
(8) But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
(9) Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
(10) Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
(11) Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
(12) Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

The wrath of God seems like not the way to begin the New Year. For some it is the dead of winter beginning and other it is the time of springing a new going into summer or mid summer. Yet few think of the changing season with the New Year. One does not think of destruction as starting a new journey necessarily. Yet a new journey beginning with God begins with destruction. A destruction of God’s wrath being pour out for repentance and to make things whole and new again. A sinner at the altar as found the weight and burden of sin so great that he can not bear what he down in his soul before a mighty God. He come to ask forgiveness and seek God for a change not only to rid of his burden but a chance to do over again.

As I think of all the destruction my own nation seen in the past ten years, I am constantly reminded that when turmoil hit, people had to worry about how to get their money from the bank, their shoes on their feet and a change of clothes to wear. They had to worry if they find their loved ones still alive, or if they had died. Did they need hospital assistance or a glass of water and food. As bull dozer came in to plow the old away so the new could be rebuilt, did anyone think of how thinks would be built. A town deciding for themselves how they would mold itself to existence. The planning and the rebuilding of hope.

When one repentance he/she is given a clean slate, a clean window of opportunity, a new life with God. Not one meant for destruction or the wrath of God, but one meant for the hope and strengthen of faith. Unfortunately it takes the fire of God to convict the soul. The knowledge of God’s wrath that will come to every sinner that does not repent. Repent means more then just asking forgiveness but to turn away from sin. Lot’s wife refused to turn away from sin city and start anew, she had to glance back to see the wrath of God poured out, and upon doing so turned to a pillar of salt.

Yet with the wrath of God comes a cleansing of fresh water being poured into the soul of the repented man/woman. With that cleansing he/she is able to begin anew. God will cloth the one that repent with Spirit and word of God. The word being Christ. See one hears the word of God and it like hot lava on the sinner man’s heart. He sees the love around him of God and desires that for himself. Yet it more of fear of wrath of God that convicts then it is for the love that will come. The fear of God keeps one running or turns one to God.

Yet as the forgiven stand before God for the first time, he is a new creation, a lump of clay ready to be molded and shaped into what God will design Him for. He is no longer covered and filled with destruction, though those things can collect again, Christ is there among in the road dirt of faith, always drawing and cleansing the soul, to mold a person into a new creation meant for the kingdom of God. When one accepts Christ as Savior he lays his burden at that cross of Calvary and rise a new with Christ in the newest of his life. Only one prayer to the Triune Godhead is needed for repentance. Most people if they acknowledge God can understand the need to repent, but not a need for a Savior. See with the word bring one to one’s knees then one can rise to prosperity of the Word. With Christ, one dies and risen with the Savior who died for our redemption. Without a promise of a better tomorrow of life with Christ why repent. With no hope through God’s word the need for repentance is in vain. The power of the Holy Spirit changes us and molds us into new creation. God knows we can not run naked but need protection and He gives us His Spirit to not only cloth our soul, but instruct us by His Word. Upon forgiveness you can become anything God and you desire to be for God in the kingdom of God. You are no longer meant for destruction but rebuilding.

Has we approach the New Year come with repenting heart and seek forgiveness for sin, remember Christ as already paid the price for your sin and loves you as you are. Allow Him to mold you and build you up. You just learn to obey His instructions and when fail because you will, remember that part won’t remain if you will repent and continue in Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father forgive us of our sins and help us to make this New Year, a year of allowing you to mold and build us up. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Jeremiah 18:3-4 KJV
(3) Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
(4) And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Daily God’s Promises: 2 Timothy 2:19-21 KJV
(19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
(20) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
(21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

Let The Redeem Say So

Daily Devotions for Tuesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 63:1-19 KJV
(1) Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
(2) Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
(3) I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
(4) For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
(5) And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
(6) And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
(7) I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
(8) For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
(9) In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
(10) But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
(11) Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
(12) That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
(13) That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
(14) As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
(15) Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?
(16) Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
(17) O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
(18) The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
(19) We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.

Who are the forgotten children of Abraham and nation of Gentiles covered and not forsaken? We have to go further back to the time of Noah to understand the breakdown of nations even groups of Rome and Greek and below that extend down toward Africa and Asia. One can get so lost into the genealogy alone in scripture we would be there through eternity. Nations would trample through Israel and not Israel alone but through all the tribes of Abraham including Abraham concubines and wives. How does one adapt to a nation rule that is more oppressing then the nations around them. Greek and Romans that would come were those nations that understood not Israel or Abraham other family lines and the importance of their heritage of faith.

The restoration of Moabites as well as other children of Abraham that did not include Isaac would come with the rebuilding of the nation of Israel. Will there not be the rebuilding and restructuring of other nations as well. Speaking their history of rebellion and being brought to salvation through the Savior of not only Israel but to the heathen nations that knew not the God of Abraham.

Paul in the New Testament in Acts would stand on Mars hill and declare who the unknown God they worship was to a generation without God. A nation that loved creating their own gods and goddesses. To a nation needing hope, because of the lewd and evil acts of whoredom to money and idols. Nothing different then movie stars and rock bands that have trailers of people that follow just to satisfy those devils of wickedness. Following only because of money and greed. The forsook God following after their own ways. Taking what was not theirs from land to enslaving of people and so forth. Forcing people to worship a nation out of fear of being feed to the lions or worse being force to be show in gladiator rink, or being sawed in half to being hung. Being a side show because that what they desired.

Yet God would allow this treading down of nations not only to teach the nation’s of Abraham a lesson in fear of God but to usher in faith to a lost and dying people without God. Nations who parents had rejected Him long ago. People from lands unknown but would be brought the Gospel of Jesus by the scattering of God’s people and the way of the cross of Calvary. First being baptized in the knowledge of God to the knowledge of Christ Jesus. Many would be oppressed because of faith, but would be baptized in the knowledge of Word of God of prophesy. By hearing of the signs given and the hope of a people oppressed, and taken in battle only to be given freedom once more by the reestablishment of Israel and Palestine. Giving the freedom of four governing laws of people. A people governed by God of the children of Noah and all that would follow in the salvation plan given by God’s chosen people who were to be example to the world of the hope to all that follow God.

To deny the world of faith and hope and love through Christ Jesus is to deny the existence of God. For God loved all people not just one group of people. Yet not all would listen. Those that would no matter the tribe would find hope and peace of God. Yet the Holy lands would have to be oppressed for the scattering and ushering of faith to begin. All were welcome in God’s kingdom, but not all will remain, because of sin.

Dear Heavenly Father the nation of this world was seeped in sin, and yet you loved us to much to redeem us all through your Son. Through the promise hope of your Word. Help us to share the hope of faith to all nations. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Psalms 107:2-4 KJV
(2) Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
(3) And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
(4) They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Daily God’s Promises: Revelation 5:6-14 KJV
(6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
(7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
(8) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
(9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
(11) And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
(12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
(13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
(14) And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

The Merge Of People

Daily Devotions for Monday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 62:1-12 KJV
(1) For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
(2) And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
(3) Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
(4) Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
(5) For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
(6) I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
(7) And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
(8) The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
(9) But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
(10) Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
(11) Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
(12) And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

The remarrying of Israel, with the new name Palestine. Most people fail at the importance of these events in modern times. And yet I do not think it is fully realized by any of us in true form. Manasseh mother’s name was Hephzibah, and it meant her husband delighted in her and it also mans Palestine. Beulah means husband or Jerusalem. A time of remarrying to a land of the ancients is more then just about tribes coming together for a big feast, but about tribes coming together in faith under one God.

As Christians it is hard for some groups not to understand we are under one God, for we take note of the Trinity Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Yet a group of believers of one God understand the role of the God the Father, Word and the Holy Spirit. Is Christian terminology wrong, by no means no. Jesus was the fourth man in the fiery furnace yet in incorruptible form. The man that appeared to Abraham on the plains of Mamre was God in incorruptible form. Appeared to Joshua in battle of Jericho and to Samson mother and father in the field. Yet God never before had appeared in corruptible form as in Christ Jesus. Yet God had spoken through many prophets and teachers of ancient times. No one argues with that because they were all human. Some even sawed in half declaring the truth of God. God became one of us, to teach us how to live. At anytime he could of left our world in which we live in but He remain among us. Purpose was to usher in the Gentiles to bring unity back to the faith in God. A God even the heathens knew was real in Israel. Some have thought if they could control the temple they could control God. Yet no one can control God. The power of His Holy Spirit in the lives of all the saints is proof of this and a testimony to many believes individually and by groups.

Non of these things make Christ less real, because upon his resurrection He put on his incorruptible flesh. Yes His flesh changed to be fully who He was, the Word of God coming forth to all mankind. He wears a crown of incorruptibility. A crown the rules the world, though some would like to take it from Him. Yet the heathen will never win. They may kill all day long, but they can not destroy God or His people. God going to bring them back to earth for them heathens to see. Yes there is times when the antichrist sets on the throne of temple because they believe it is a human being. That why God gave us Jesus to look too. To keep us from false idols. To keep us from belief in false giants. To keep our eyes focus on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

God desires us to see Him fully has He is. Indestructible, with love, mercy and justice forever more to all that seek Him. Ist John is clear when it comes to the fact that a believer in Christ must believe He came in the flesh. There groups that look to light being flesh, but it not God. Even Christ says He is the light only while in the world. Will She is the Alpha and the Omega and as long has God’s Spirit is with us, we are with hope. For did not the Holy Spirit descend on the disciples hovering over them as a flame of fire. But only those in the upper room observed this coming. Only the people in the streets felt the coming of the Spirit as the earth shook and observe the apostles as the preached. This was not the coming of Christ when the whole world will see Him, but a day is coming when Christ will descend with a shout bring the church His bride with Him.

The joining together of two tribes and bringing all to God is only a reflection of John the Baptist as forerunner to the Word of God coming to the mountain of God as Christ sets his foot down on the two Holy Hills. Let us remember and let us observe truth and righteousness. The hope of glory. The hope of faith. The hope with no end. Abraham family is back together and war still rages on. That is the truth in most family, that love, laugh and they fight forever more.

Dear Heavenly Father bring us the hope of your seconding coming as we watch two nation merge as one. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Jeremiah 46:18 KJV
(18) As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.

Daily God’s Promises: Revelation 10:1-4 KJV
(1) And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
(2) And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
(3) And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
(4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Every Sunday A Psalms: Portals Of Faith

Daily Devotions For Sunday: by turtle30c

Psalms 15:1-5 KJV
(1) A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
(2) He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
(3) He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
(4) In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
(5) He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Love in any language is straight from the heart, we have to hope in the day of promise that we do not find ourselves lacking in the realm of love. Meaning are we living as we should, loving more then once a year. Is Christmas now gone once all the gifts are unwrapped. This is the Sunday before New Years and yet in a few days we will vow to change and make New Year Resolutions only to fall short of all of them sometime in the year. Resolutions are like backsliders that repent. See you make a choice to change but seldom do we change all at once with our resolve to do so. Without Christ our resolution of change comes with the ability of will verse the desire of the heart. When Christ comes the resolution of change comes with the truth of the Word of God change a person, first in pointing out sin, and then through faith in belief God’s word is true, then salvation can only come through Christ Jesus. Jesus is the bridge that say we need a Savior, we are imperfect, and not without fault, but a life without change is a life stuck in the mud of sin. Never crossing over to God but living on the side of hell.

If you watched enough jungle movies you seen those pictures of bridges made of wood and rope and if you seen the golden gate bridge you know how sturdy that structure has been over the years. Yet even it is made by man. However I using these two bridges for example today. You can take the rich man highway across the bridge and see God, or you can take a bridge that is made of wood and rope. Every bridge picture of wood and rope seems to have deep ravine. Once across to the other side you probably do not want to cross back over the other direction. However the destination if you try you land up in a deep ravine that has no end. See you tried to build a bridge with no lasting skills. It only temporary bridge that takes you to God because you live. Yet the bridge of gold is a Christ center bridge, a bridge that is built on faith and trust in God. Built by the cross of Calvary, almost like worm hole, where one can travel faster then the speed of light between galaxies.

See when Christ returns He becoming from His Father’s Kingdom, and when He not coming empty handed, he will be coming with all those who have crossed over the bridge of life on a high way built by the love of God through the cross of Calvary. The saints will travel from the New Jerusalem into the vast domain of life sharing the Gospel of hope to the heathens of the land. The healing of the nations by the word of God. The transformation takes place. See God’s love and compassion and redemption changes the lives of people through the truth of His Word. Only healing can take place through truth. We can not hate or do evil to our neighbor and expect God to approve. Love comes with out hate, yet God hates evil. Evil because it destroys the lives of His people.

When we decide to receive God’s word in our life, we allow the truth to change us sometimes over time and sometimes right away. Yet Christ power of redemption comes immediately upon faith in Christ. There is sanctification process that continues through out a life time. A time of repentance and time of revival in one heart. God does not want us to stay seeped in sin. We are saved for life time, but we are not clean for life in the since of not have road dirt on us. We got to continue working through the purification process. It can only continue through obedience to God’s Spirit and God’s word. Those of us that continue is wearing the crown of life as holy children unto the Lord. Let us rejoice and live and walk in the ways of God so we can dwell with Him for eternity.

Dear Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins and as I trust in Jesus help me live a life pleasing to you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: John 15:9-11 KJV
(9) As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
(10) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
(11) These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Daily God’s Promises: 1 John 3:16-24 KJV
(16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
(17) But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
(18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
(19) And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
(20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
(21) Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
(22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
(23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(24) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Time Of Christ: When Was The Last Time God Spoke To You Concerning Prophesy

Daily Devotions for Saturday: by turtle30c

Luke 2:25-32 KJV
(25) And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
(26) And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
(27) And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
(28) Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
(29) Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
(30) For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
(31) Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
(32) A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

I wonder how many people even recognize prophesy in their own life. I say perhaps a handful if not more. Most perhaps would not see it has being prophetic but part of their relationship with God. God spoke to me about a time in my life when I would dedicate my life to the Lord. He gave me a specific date and I looked at the calendar and said sure. A little time later I found out the church was having a revival, however it still did not occur to me the reality of the decision I was going to make in my life. I did not think on it again or even counted the days, I still was unclear of the reality of God speaking in the manner of prophesy in my own life or not that way. Not a specific date. It the date people that God gives that is over whelming to the believer, not just the place. After my decision was made, I then reflected on what God had spoken for He brought it to memory once again. Thinking back that should have been enough for me to set me a blaze, yet it was not my time to shine forth but a time of shifting, because God spoke on other things in my life that I did not believe or rejected and God brought me full circle. Yet I had miracles and wonders in my life, none of these would be a strengthen in faith I seldom reflect on. Perhaps because of the devil’s ability to duplicate certain things. Yet when God speaks of prophesy it is usually something that can not be duplicated at the time and place it occurs. Why is this, but to build strength in the believers heart on faith in God’s word.

When Jesus came into the world it was not by prophesy only but in the literal flesh. Back then the ability to conceive without a man involved was impossible. To be on this side of prophesy of the Virgin birth with modern technology most would laugh. Yet technology was not so impossible back then. After all inside the pyramids of ancient Egypt a battery lantern was discover. Made from jar of clay and acid. The base of electronics leave people skeptics when it comes to how much medical knowledge and ability was truly understood though the ability to create it as we know today not so conceivable. There was much science/doctors understood about conception long before Jesus, yet the medical ability to design a tool to impregnate a woman was not there in the tech world as we know today or even a scientific reality. It like Edison discover of physics or light bulb. His theories ahead of its time. At the time of Christ the reality of conception by Virgin was impossible without the power of God. Healing today is much like this, yet not true healing from God, yet science will pick over things to look for scientific explanation.

What does this have to do with this passage. Simeon we do not know how old he was when God spoke or declare to him he would not die before Jesus would come. When the word of God would come forth like a spring of water to the world. When prophesy would happen. The writer was expecting us to take it on faith. It takes faith to realize the probably of one own prophesy in one’s life. Until it happens to you, you probably won’t believe half of the stories in scripture. Yet when God moves in your life, the reality of God becomes real. With that in mind, Simeon was old and had faith upon years. Enough so that after he seen God salvation, he was ready to die. He no longer doubted in his mind with the incoming passing years of age upon him, but was ready to accept God’s salvation by the spoken word of God to his heart as well as it coming of the prophesy of ancient times.

Simeon shaking perhaps to his very being upon seeing Jesus for the first time, born of virgin as prophesied. Israel would rejoice. Yet in time to come they would be hearts would be harden to the truth to the point that Israel would shout crucify. Prophesy occurring once more. Prophesy of denial of Peter was for the help of those who shout crucify. God’s Spirit moving in a person life, even in season of disobedience and obedience.

Just because you doubted does not make you less of one of God’s children, it only makes you a doubting Thomas. One who can still be forgiven with repentance and one God still wants to use for His glory. Simeon was old, had much experience with God. How long had it taken for him to believe it would happen, we do not know, but we know he knew after seeing salvation his time to be with the Lord was coming. Where is your faith?

Dear Heavenly Father speak to our hearts so we can believe, speak to our hearts of your conviction of sin and your salvation through Christ Jesus the Son of God, the Word of prophesy. May your word of truth shine in our hearts. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Matthew 26:75 KJV
(75) And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Daily God’s Promises: 1 Peter 1:3-5 KJV
(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
(4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

To Set The Captives Free

Daily Devotions For Friday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 61:1-11 KJV
(1) The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
(2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
(3) To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
(4) And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
(5) And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
(6) But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
(7) For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
(8) For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
(9) And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
(10) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
(11) For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The healing of Israel came with the year of Jubilee. The year of jubilee took place every fifty years. A healing and a cleansing of Israel. Freeing of criminals, freeing of debt and a freeing working the fields and rest to the land. A freeing of sin, and a freeing of those who would teach the law to the people. A joyful time of being sin free and harvest of fruit enough for the year that precedes the year of Jubilee and the year of Jubilee.

There many ways to have healing and the year of Jubilee was that for Israel. It was a time of peace and prosperity. A time of healing of anything that was wrong, the cancellation of debts and so forth. Sin forgiven for the nation of Israel. A time of ushering in of the Gentile people. A time of prosperity among the heathen. A time of witness of the grace and freedom of God.

Time frame of Christ coming was the acceptable year of the Lord. A time of setting the captives free both in prison and those seeped in sin. The debits were paid up and the prisoners in debtor prison released. For Christ has made the sinner free of all his debt with His death and resurrection. The time of liberation would cause an ushering in of the Gentile people, much like the time of Christ teaching on earth did. His coming and teaching set free people of more then one nation.

The gentiles would be taught by God’s word and they would teach others. There would be the priesthood of Jews and Gentiles. A royal priesthood to teach their people. Yet they would teach each other has well. Yet there was a condition of faith in the Priesthood. One had to believe in God. When Christ came, He was from the linage of David. His ancestry both Jew and Gentile believers. Ruth was from the tribe of Moabites, the daughter in law of Naomi and married Boaz a cousin of Naomi , an Israelite. Ruth had a son name Obed who was the great grandfather of King David.

Jesus would bring even more Gentiles in. The Gentile nation was never forgotten. That is the trouble with Bible prophesy and the ushering in of the Gentiles that confuses some. Christ is our Jubilee, both to the Jews and the Gentiles. Yet there was a blindness of who the Messiah was at the time of Christ death and resurrection. Was salvation a man that could die, no payment of eternal sins were paid with the crucifixion of Jesus and life came again to the believer with resurrection. Our sin destroys the word of God and yet God resurrects His Word. Our mistakes cause people around us to never accept God and our repentance brings about life to those around us. Our admittance of guilt sets others at liberty, but it does not pay the price for our wrong doing. Only Christ death and resurrection can do that.

The year of Jubilee put everyone on equal ground. Christ desires to make us all equal through forgiveness of sin. Pointing out we all are sinners and we all fall short of the Glory of God. There would be no more heavenly punishment for sin through faith in Christ Jesus. Yet those that reject God word would perish without God’s deliverance. Sinner is opposition of Word of God and God. Jesus taught both the Word of God and about His Father and the Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father may those hearing understand that Christ is our Jubilee and Jubilee without end. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: 2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Daily God’s Promises: Ephesians 4:7-13 KJV
(7) But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
(8) Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(9) (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
(10) He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

(17) For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
(18) Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
(19) The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
(20) Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
(21) Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
(22) A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Arise and shine it is Christmas morning. With the dawning of each Christmas morn we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Yet every child that believes in Santa sits under the tree to get gifts they hope Santa has brought them. Riches untold unforeseen comes to them, and some only receive the gift of hope of a brighter tomorrow, missing the stockings, because no one cared to reach out to them in need. I often wonder why the wise men coming a year later has to do with Christmas, but Mary and Joseph did not travel home and perhaps the gold, frankincense and myrrh were need for their journey to come. No clue if Joseph did work while in Bethlehem or if their supply was enough, yet we do know the Savior birth came in manger because there was no room in the inn. Perhaps there were others untold that came to the birth of the Savior. We only hear of the Shepherd and the Wise Men. Yet the story of what happened when they came into the temple with Simeon and Anna when they rejoiced eight days after King Jesus birth. There very little we know about this time period, but yet it is enough to give hope of a new king.

We know through Jesus ministry on earth many came to him from all over including the Greeks in Jerusalem, and Roman soldiers, and not just the tribe of Israel. Some bowing to the miracles performed by Jesus, bowing and worshiping Jesus. It had been like this at the coming of God to the temple, when the Holy Spirit filled the temple. When the temple was rebuild, people flocked to see the rebuilding as well as to lend a hand with supplies. Pine trees and other wood along with gold to rebuild the temple. Yet the temple of Christ day that was being built, was not one made with man’s hand’s but the power of God by His Spirit.

The rising of God is nothing new to Israel, or the Gentiles, yet the coming prophesy of a virgin birth was something new. It was like the dawning of hope to the world. A dawning not fully understood. A dawning that God was not only with us, but had not forsaken the people of God. Gentiles far and wide came through out Christ ministry, yet it is not the only thing witness, it was the healing that took place that had not happened in centuries before. Miracles by the thousands. These miracles were enough to spur the next generation of believers to even now. For the coming of the Holy Spirit upon even the Gentiles was proof God had not forsaken even them. It was proof that God was not just a God of Israel but a God to the world. Yet He could only be born into one tribe and perhaps it was one tribe that need a little more proof of God was with them then any other. Perhaps it was the proof that Israel needed for the world to see that their God was not conquerable. With obedience to God came the fruit of God in a person life. And with Christ birth came evidence to the world of God a sign that was over 400 years old that was said to come.

As we reflect on Jesus today let us not forget the hope of salvation He brought to the world. A renewal of faith to the world and the end of traditional sacrifices once the resurrection had happened. The hope that God was reachable to all and not just a few if they would only believe in Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father remind us daily that Jesus came to the whole world not just a few. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(9) And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
(10) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
(11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
(12) And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
(13) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
(14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
(15) And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
(16) And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
(17) And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

Daily Devotions for Wednesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 59:1-21 KJV
(1) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
(2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
(3) For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
(4) None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
(5) They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
(6) Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
(7) Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
(8) The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
(9) Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
(10) We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
(11) We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
(12) For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
(13) In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
(14) And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
(15) Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
(16) And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
(17) For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
(18) According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
(19) So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
(20) And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
(21) As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Who will fight for man at a time of injustice. When blood is pour out in the streets and there is no defense. Our God puts forth His word and Salvation helmet is put on his Son. The image of God in the form of man, walks before the people. Joshua seen the victor before Him when the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. Yet Joshua walked in victory, not as one in defeat. Israel where is the days of Joshua, leading the battle front, only to discover God is before him in battle.

God is not slack concerning His promise, though men of faith fall like sinners. God protection is for the believer, but it also for those that will hear and believe. Israel was backslidden falling into captivity of the mind and soul. Not remembering the word of God needs to be put into practice. The attitude let me do it my way, only to find our way is not always God’s way, and our way is a way that leads to destruction when we refuse God.

A need for Savior because man has turned from God. A need for the word of God to come back to the people. A need for intercessor between God and man. A need for a Savior to explain the ways of God to us. As Mary and Joseph head to Bethlehem, one has to think of the birth of our Savior to come, and yet tonight of all nights it is one of the greatest reminder of our Savior coming for all mankind. As the word of God stretch forth across our nation and around the world, there many places yet to hear the Gospel because it goes for each generation, not just each nation. It would be hard to get everyone in the world to hear truth of God’s word all at the same time, or even around the world, even with modern technology. Someone would find something else to do. Yet when the eastern sky is parted the Savior voice will be heard by all. No one will be able to escape it. God seen we needed His Word and He brought it forth in the form of a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. God had preached to the Nation of Israel when the rebuilding of the temple took place. God raised up men like Ezra and Nehemiah to bring forth His word.

The bring forth of God Word is bring forth salvation to all that will hear and obey. Christ comes in the form of Infant to teach us of God’s word, to be the Word, to transform each and every heart that will believe. God’s word coming forth to each generation that will receive the truth of who Jesus is. Allowing Jesus to be king of our hearts and minds. When we receive Jesus it becomes like glue or sealant that can not be broken on our hearts and mouth. God’s word flows as freely from our lips as do words of our brain and soul, because we are not God. This sealant from heaven is permanent as a child of God. As God speaks through us, it only because of His sealant upon belief that the word of God comes forth by His Spirit to speak life to those around us. Our actions must speak those things as well. For God’s Spirit is action and His Word prophesize from us to the non believer so they might believe.

God sent a Savior to remind us and to give us hope to each generation. A living hope of how His Word goes forth and becomes. How His Word is indestructible. Once it penetrates our hearts we are saved. As Christmas Eve begins with reflection of our Savior coming forth as a babe, let us not forget what it must have been for Joseph and Mary seeing prophesy come true before their very eyes. What it must have been for Mary to see this infant come forth from her own body, and no she had not been with a man. How she must of wonder when the shepherds arrived and began to tell their story, how she need not to shout for the world to know, for the angels of heaven spoke glad tidings great joy to the Shepherds in the field. God needs not man, man needs God and needs proof of God. This sign is for the unbeliever and the believer. When God begins to speak to your heart you can believe.

Dear Heavenly Father the sealant of your Word be so fixed on our hearts upon belief, may our actions and our words speak your hope to those around us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily God’s Promises: Ephesians 1:12-13 KJV
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
