Why preach or teach online the Gospel (facebook post I wrote)

YOu never know who you reach in online ministry. I proud of the churches that are willing to step out in faith. Fact is some weeks might not be many and other weeks a lot. It not how many it someone being reached, and truth online ministry you do not know unless they echo in agreement by the Spirit back. Lesson for the echo of God to come back. It maybe in quality, quanity and sometimes mockery. Mockery means someone was listening that had nothing better to do and chose to listen but something got to them too. One just can’t see it yet. Be patience those ministers trying it for the first time, don’t give up. It hard thing to do. Church people encourage your church in ministry. Why? Will it like this there people outside your church that can’t get to your church because they work on Sunday. Consider that one person that needs Christ that can’t be in your church just might be willing to listen to a church tape they can stop at any point of time, or listen to the whole thing. Ministry is never about how popular you are, but how God moves in the heart of hearer and speaker.

New Year

By christina farris 2/9/2019

January slipped by quickly and now it is part wat through February already. Still happily married. I still love Jesus as much as day before long with my hubby. The month of love is a sweet time for young and old love alike. Let be a month of refreshing commitment to spouses and friendship. May faith in Christ be a decider in new and old love and those married to nonbeliever keep praying that you and those around you will be a testimony to your spouse. Be equally yoke scripture says and also remain unequally if ones spouse has no issue with your faith.

What new with me still working out and hope to go to work soon to get another computer as well as get out of debit.

Daily Devotions for Wednesday: by Christina farris

Proverbs 4:1-27 KJV
(1) Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
(2) For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
(3) For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
(4) He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
(5) Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
(6) Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
(7) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
(8) Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
(9) She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
(10) Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
(11) I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
(12) When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
(13) Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
(14) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
(15) Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
(16) For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
(17) For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
(18) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
(19) The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
(20) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
(21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
(22) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
(23) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
(24) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
(25) Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
(26) Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
(27) Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Wisdom is called a woman. Yet God is seen has a man. Yet God is wisdom. God’s people are seen as the bride, and the woman. Because wisdom comes from God. True wisdom is found in God’s instruction to His bride to His wife, who also minister instruction for God. In other words listen to the wisdom of the elders, listen to the teachers and ministers of God for the truth is in the words of God and not in the words of man. Listen to God’s people, listen to godly father’s and mother’s. Listen to the wisdom of the words to depart from evil, to leave evil alone and to follow in the path of righteousness. Think about where your feet are going don’t just leap, or you find a snare or a net of destruction. Listen and hear what God is saying to the believer.

Not all believers are smart some are like dumb sheep going astray, running into mud pit, or over a cleft, only to have God lift them up upon repentance. Sometimes they get wounded and need a little oil. Sometimes sheep listen to the voice of the shepherd leading them on. Sometimes they follow the crowd only to slide down a slippery slope because of heavy rain. That is why the sheep dog has to chase the sheep to keep them going toward the shepherd voice.

Are you follow in the words of wisdom of our Lord. Does the church follow the words and wisdom of God, or only the wisdom of man. Be careful what you listen to and listen close to God’s Spirit asking Him to guide and direct you in all truth. For God writes the laws of His own your heart and the Spirit speaks to you of these things. Listen, what do you hear. Listen before you fall. Listen to keep you feet on solid ground.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to obey you alone and follow the wisdom of yours that comes from your people. Help us to obey your Spirit and not the world of men that seek only to destroy. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: John 10:14 KJV
(14) I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

Daily God’s Promise: Ephesians 1:17-19 KJV
(17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
(18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
(19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Article in the Washington post states A county In Michigan School district because of the ACLU is having to change their qualification from strong Christian leadership to non discriminatory based on religion. What if there is no one in that district that disagrees with those qualifications should the ACLU be allowed to but in. In truth it angers me to a point, yet at the same time, I know it is to protect future generation of those living in that county in Michigan if religion of that area ever changes. Yet does it hurt for an area that disagrees to require certain religious values if they teach tolerance of faith otherwise? I think sometimes our nation needs to ask why are these prefenses important to both parties in a situation. For More information click here.

Bloody Sunday Remembered by our President

commentary by Christina Farris Posted I think On March 8 2015 main site turtle30cshell.com

Yahoo News reports on President Obama reflects on the age of four at the March in Selma across the Edmund Pettus Bridge, in Alabama, Obama might of been four, but I was not even born yet and probably not thought of by either of my parents at the time this march took place. Yet the racial tention of this day is only a reflection on our nation history of the struggle any group of people to rise above oppression can have.It is not a black issue, though in 1965 it was a black issue. It should not be remember as over coming of race but a fight for all people knocked down, put down, and strive to over come in this world. A group of people having a choice to either be about their particular heart ache or be a world class leader over discrimination. To see the bigger issue of survival for a purpose.

One might ask what is the reason for our nation to see a group of people overcoming, but to remind us we all have things in life to overcome. We all have battles. Discrimination has no place black, white, hispanic, oriental, American Indian, and so forth in our nation.A reflection on a people that desire and fought for change. only to see after forty years later the result of reaching the top in the political field and many other fields due to hard work through the legal system. What are those results, to have the issue of racism peak to say we have a lot more places yet to win the racial battle, never recognizing that the battle is not about race, but overcoming obstacles in life. I am white. And when I look at history of those oppressed by whites I do feel sorrow, because without white suffrage movement it would of been a different type of war that would have eventually come. To reflect only on black leaders and not both black and white, it becomes once again a segregated mess, angering whites and others alike. Instead of shouting together as one united force in our country with no bigotry lines.

Tention in the south is not new to any southern state in the union, but a part of life that for some seem more like a dead issue and for others that marched and the fight still a wound.Click Here on the article for Bloody Sunday by Yahoo.

President and Mrs. Obama Remarks as Parents on remembering Selma.

by Christina Farris  3/9/2015 roughly the date. might of been sunday

If you are a parent despite race think about what if it had been your children marching for liberty. None of us think about the children that marched, only view the bigger leaders because they begin the March. But it is the children of the generation of the march that are most effect. It is those people that in leadership and positions today not ever thought possible.

This video reflects on our Presidents and Michele Obama comments has they take their own girls across that bridge.

March is also Women’s History Month.

No doubt women have influenced men for centuries ever since God took the rib from Adam and formed Eve. Women were created to be a help mate and have no doubt taken on more leadership roles then men rightly could stand. For centuries men have tried to figure how to shut women up and yet women continue to make progress whether in the lime light or behind the scenes.

If I could name the most influencial woman in my life it have to be my mother. My mother is a leader in her own right as well as teacher. Yet she chose the more motherly, wifely and independent role in society. Doing her own creativity with her sewing, and her talents, as well as being the well rounded homemaker, minister wife and teacher.Working both inside and outside the home and church for years. Until she retired. Yet I do not think of my mother really retiring but maybe slowing down from the 9 to 5 life style.

As we head into woman’s month, I will try and leave some articles available. However there is also a Bible Study called: Women in the Bible, in the Bible Study section of the website. So go explore. I too will hopefully be exploring and looking for new articles through out the coming weeks.

Historical Faces Of Women On Money

Historical Faces Of Women On Money
by Christina Farris 3/5/2015

Article in the Washington Post states a women’s group is wanting to change the face on the twenty dollar bill, Andrew Jackson, because he took Indian land. However, what women are on U.S. Currency: Susan B. Anthony, woman sufferage movement is on the One dollar coin, along with Sacagawea, an indian woman who helped Lewis and Clark was on the gold dollar coin, let us not forget the disable/capable Helen Keller a blind and deaf woman was place on the reversed side of the Alabama state quarter and the most famous first lady Marth Washington was on the USA One dollar bill and the US stamp.

It is not that women have not been on American currency, it is just the men out number the women. I know nothing about this group that want to change the twenty dollar bill. However for more information about woman wanting to change the twenty dollar bill to createt more knowledge of women that have helped shape our American history, check it out by clicking here. However in all truth no matter whose face is on the bill it is still spent the same way.

Help for Abuse of Women

Seeing a friend in trouble often leaves you feeling helpless when you realize there is little you can do but pray. Yet God’s intervention is sometimes your responsibility, it is called stepping up to the plate and showing the person the abuse in their life. It might not always be smart to interfer, so sometimes you have to be creative. Sometimes creativity is only seen by helping with awareness of abuse. First take time to pray, and then start asking yourself why do you feel this person is abused and does it meet the guidelines of abuse by the government. Then consider how you can help. First thing you need to do is research and second you need to listen and consider as a friend how you can be most helpful. Until a person wants out of abuse they will probably not hear you. Yet you might be the only link to their outside world. You might be the only life line, a person has. If the person life ends in death, then you know you at least had an open door. Many women are killed each year due to abuse. Some are only batter and stay because they thinking it will not be killed, not knowing that death is around the next punch. Some staying because it is their only financial support and means of survival they think they have, because they have gotten closed off from the world around them. Is there help. Well you can not yank them out of their situation, they have to want to help themselves. Yet you can do something by providing information and friendship. I have left a link for government helpline for those with inquiries:

Click here For Information on what you can do to help.

Remember sometimes you can only pray, but other times you can do something. This site will help you with your search on what you can do and how you or a friend can get help from abuse.
