Time Of Christ: Son Of God

Daily Devotions for Saturday: by Christina Farris 11/26/2016

Luke 1:26-38 KJV
(26) And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
(27) To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
(28) And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
(29) And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
(30) And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
(31) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
(32) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
(33) And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
(34) Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
(35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
(36) And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
(37) For with God nothing shall be impossible.
(38) And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

A women with out intercourse would conceive a child. A child of the Holy Ghost. The miracle of conception coming not by normal means of God but the impossible means of God’s Holy Word. The angel Gabrielle said that the Holy Ghost would hover over her and she would conceive. Not a man would, but the Spirit of God. God’s Spirit hover over the water and God created light by his word. God needs no mechanics to make anything. Yet he formed man out of clay the first one he made. The second man he made came by the word. The first woman God made came from the rib of man and He yet to try and make another.

Jesus would be the Only Begotten of the Father God, but He was not the only one called the son of God. All mankind are the sons of God. A term used in Jewish history and yet the significant of Jesus being the Son of God would be lost to the heathens who understood not as well as the Jews for a time. The term son of God be flippant as any word in everyday language, not significant enough until one uses the world only and begotten in a sentence. Yet only declared over a course of a three year ministry. His name would be Jesus meaning Joshua/Yeshua/Jehoshua or Jehovah is salvation. Jesus would also be the great ancestor of King David and His throne would have no end. His throne would be a continual state.

Let us think for a moment did Jesus ever become king, not of the throne of David in Jerusalem or not yet anyway. He would come again and take the throne when He returns, but what the throne is really about is our hearts. He would reign in the heart of man. Now if we look at our nation the love of Christ supposedly reigns, yet most would agree this is not always so and then sometimes it overboard. Yet our nation does not claim God in battle, even if they have praying men and women in military, for there also heathen and other religious people with them. Our nation is one of diversity in religion. As Christians we must examine our history of what type of leaders we had. Most followed the Bible not all were Christians in doctrine. What that means is more then one person follows scripture sometimes because of prophesy contained within.

Where does this leave Christ reign in the heart it is for those that receive and follow Jesus. Jesus does not reign in those people’s heart that has never received Him as Lord. The anti Christ appears to follow God’s word but it not necessarily true. They follow by works and by prophetic implications that can be study. Some saying I will wait to receive Christ when I see Him in the sky, not knowing that He may coming after their death.

What is the point Christ is on the throne of all that receive Him as Lord but still not on the throne of unbelievers beyond examining prophesy, or history of scripture. I rather have someone that studies and examines for evidence in this world because of historical account of prophesy then not have these people not study at all. The wise men came and worshipped Jesus but they followed the stars and the signs in the stars. They were astrologers. God woke the world to His Son’s coming. Jesus was actually prophesied about long before the book Isaiah when the sign of the virgin birth was given.

Mary wanted to know how she would know the truth of Gabrielle words. Gabrielle told her of her cousin Elizabeth being old having conceived that was barren. Mary receive the news the angel gave her as being true and said to Gabrielle let be as you said.

We can not deny the scripture speaks of angels as messengers of God but it the appearance that is often over looked. Not even at the time of Christ did all believe that angels of God existed, but they came as messenger has God sent. Evidence from God was available to the believer with prophesy. Having a sign that what they believe would happen would come. God is performing God is going to give the ability of belief for the impossible. God used His people to bring forth the prophesy of Jesus. He did not use the heathens for that. Yet the heathens would be aware. God trust people of faith with His news and His Son.

Dear Heavenly Father receiving your Son this Christmas is only the greatest gift anyone can receive. I ask right now if anyone reading that wants to receive Christ just bow and say Lord Jesus come into my heart today. I receive God’s word as truth and I ask you to forgive me of my sins. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer you have received Jesus as Savior today and your are now His child, and a child of the King.

Continual Scripture Study for Devotions: Romans 10:9-10 KJV
(9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Christmas The Best Gift Of All

Daily Devotions for Thursday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 60:1-22 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
(4) Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
(5) Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
(6) The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
(7) All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
(8) Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
(9) Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
(10) And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
(11) Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
(12) For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
(13) The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
(14) The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
(15) Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
(16) Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
(17) For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
(18) Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
(19) The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
(20) Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
(21) Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
(22) A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Arise and shine it is Christmas morning. With the dawning of each Christmas morn we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Yet every child that believes in Santa sits under the tree to get gifts they hope Santa has brought them. Riches untold unforeseen comes to them, and some only receive the gift of hope of a brighter tomorrow, missing the stockings, because no one cared to reach out to them in need. I often wonder why the wise men coming a year later has to do with Christmas, but Mary and Joseph did not travel home and perhaps the gold, frankincense and myrrh were need for their journey to come. No clue if Joseph did work while in Bethlehem or if their supply was enough, yet we do know the Savior birth came in manger because there was no room in the inn. Perhaps there were others untold that came to the birth of the Savior. We only hear of the Shepherd and the Wise Men. Yet the story of what happened when they came into the temple with Simeon and Anna when they rejoiced eight days after King Jesus birth. There very little we know about this time period, but yet it is enough to give hope of a new king.

We know through Jesus ministry on earth many came to him from all over including the Greeks in Jerusalem, and Roman soldiers, and not just the tribe of Israel. Some bowing to the miracles performed by Jesus, bowing and worshiping Jesus. It had been like this at the coming of God to the temple, when the Holy Spirit filled the temple. When the temple was rebuild, people flocked to see the rebuilding as well as to lend a hand with supplies. Pine trees and other wood along with gold to rebuild the temple. Yet the temple of Christ day that was being built, was not one made with man’s hand’s but the power of God by His Spirit.

The rising of God is nothing new to Israel, or the Gentiles, yet the coming prophesy of a virgin birth was something new. It was like the dawning of hope to the world. A dawning not fully understood. A dawning that God was not only with us, but had not forsaken the people of God. Gentiles far and wide came through out Christ ministry, yet it is not the only thing witness, it was the healing that took place that had not happened in centuries before. Miracles by the thousands. These miracles were enough to spur the next generation of believers to even now. For the coming of the Holy Spirit upon even the Gentiles was proof God had not forsaken even them. It was proof that God was not just a God of Israel but a God to the world. Yet He could only be born into one tribe and perhaps it was one tribe that need a little more proof of God was with them then any other. Perhaps it was the proof that Israel needed for the world to see that their God was not conquerable. With obedience to God came the fruit of God in a person life. And with Christ birth came evidence to the world of God a sign that was over 400 years old that was said to come.

As we reflect on Jesus today let us not forget the hope of salvation He brought to the world. A renewal of faith to the world and the end of traditional sacrifices once the resurrection had happened. The hope that God was reachable to all and not just a few if they would only believe in Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father remind us daily that Jesus came to the whole world not just a few. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Luke 2:8-17 KJV
(8) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
(9) And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
(10) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
(11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
(12) And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
(13) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
(14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
(15) And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
(16) And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
(17) And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

Daily God’s Promises: Acts 10:44-45 KJV
(44) While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
(45) And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Christmas Eve

Daily Devotions for Wednesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 59:1-21 KJV
(1) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
(2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
(3) For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
(4) None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
(5) They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
(6) Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
(7) Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
(8) The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
(9) Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
(10) We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
(11) We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
(12) For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
(13) In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
(14) And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
(15) Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
(16) And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
(17) For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
(18) According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
(19) So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
(20) And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
(21) As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Who will fight for man at a time of injustice. When blood is pour out in the streets and there is no defense. Our God puts forth His word and Salvation helmet is put on his Son. The image of God in the form of man, walks before the people. Joshua seen the victor before Him when the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. Yet Joshua walked in victory, not as one in defeat. Israel where is the days of Joshua, leading the battle front, only to discover God is before him in battle.

God is not slack concerning His promise, though men of faith fall like sinners. God protection is for the believer, but it also for those that will hear and believe. Israel was backslidden falling into captivity of the mind and soul. Not remembering the word of God needs to be put into practice. The attitude let me do it my way, only to find our way is not always God’s way, and our way is a way that leads to destruction when we refuse God.

A need for Savior because man has turned from God. A need for the word of God to come back to the people. A need for intercessor between God and man. A need for a Savior to explain the ways of God to us. As Mary and Joseph head to Bethlehem, one has to think of the birth of our Savior to come, and yet tonight of all nights it is one of the greatest reminder of our Savior coming for all mankind. As the word of God stretch forth across our nation and around the world, there many places yet to hear the Gospel because it goes for each generation, not just each nation. It would be hard to get everyone in the world to hear truth of God’s word all at the same time, or even around the world, even with modern technology. Someone would find something else to do. Yet when the eastern sky is parted the Savior voice will be heard by all. No one will be able to escape it. God seen we needed His Word and He brought it forth in the form of a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. God had preached to the Nation of Israel when the rebuilding of the temple took place. God raised up men like Ezra and Nehemiah to bring forth His word.

The bring forth of God Word is bring forth salvation to all that will hear and obey. Christ comes in the form of Infant to teach us of God’s word, to be the Word, to transform each and every heart that will believe. God’s word coming forth to each generation that will receive the truth of who Jesus is. Allowing Jesus to be king of our hearts and minds. When we receive Jesus it becomes like glue or sealant that can not be broken on our hearts and mouth. God’s word flows as freely from our lips as do words of our brain and soul, because we are not God. This sealant from heaven is permanent as a child of God. As God speaks through us, it only because of His sealant upon belief that the word of God comes forth by His Spirit to speak life to those around us. Our actions must speak those things as well. For God’s Spirit is action and His Word prophesize from us to the non believer so they might believe.

God sent a Savior to remind us and to give us hope to each generation. A living hope of how His Word goes forth and becomes. How His Word is indestructible. Once it penetrates our hearts we are saved. As Christmas Eve begins with reflection of our Savior coming forth as a babe, let us not forget what it must have been for Joseph and Mary seeing prophesy come true before their very eyes. What it must have been for Mary to see this infant come forth from her own body, and no she had not been with a man. How she must of wonder when the shepherds arrived and began to tell their story, how she need not to shout for the world to know, for the angels of heaven spoke glad tidings great joy to the Shepherds in the field. God needs not man, man needs God and needs proof of God. This sign is for the unbeliever and the believer. When God begins to speak to your heart you can believe.

Dear Heavenly Father the sealant of your Word be so fixed on our hearts upon belief, may our actions and our words speak your hope to those around us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Luke 2:7 KJV
(7) And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Daily God’s Promises: Ephesians 1:12-13 KJV
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Seeking Your Own Justification Verse God

Daily Devotions for Tuesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 58:1-14 KJV
(1) Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
(2) Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
(3) Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
(4) Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
(5) Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
(6) Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
(7) Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
(8) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
(9) Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
(10) And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
(11) And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
(12) And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
(13) If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
(14) Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

A minister has the duty to preach what God’s word says verses man ideology that is ever so changing. If I serve a God that does not change and serve a God that justification comes through His Son and His salvation, I must think again can I justify myself before God. In truth my justification would fall short if I follow not the laws of God. If I speak truth then I would say I have fail in be justified by the law of God but not by Christ Jesus who takes away the sins of the world. See anyone that believes in Jesus is justified before God, yet the law comes to the believe has a spoken truth of God desire for His people. A ministers duty is to speak the desires of God for His people.

As Christmas is only two days away I find myself still in Isaiah and I had figured I would have broken away from now to continue the traditional Christmas story in all its lights and glory. Yet even Pope Francis is taking time to do something else far from tradition not has far as being retro, but speaking the decrees to the church. Yet Pope Francis is more liberal then Pope in the past concerning something. As I watch that news I am a bit curious to all that was said at that meeting, because He spoke on sin of church leaders. All I could think what some hot seats all church leaders find themselves from time to time. Not speaking just Catholic’s but the universal church of believers in Christ.

Ministers must maintain code of ethics, yet none can do it on their own. They are man not Jesus. There justification comes not on their own but by their Savior. Yet the world looks at ministers often as just that a type of Savior, never realizing their ministers struggle too to obey all God decrees. The reminder of justification through Christ Jesus is so important. Yet Old Testament justification came through the sacrificial law of repentance and sacrifice. Yet there were sins God did not hold against a man of faith. Belief has always been a get out of jail free card in God’s world, yet it is not what justifies us. It is a work of God none the less. Justification comes with a price of repentance to the believer, humbling himself before God and seeking God through faith. Striving to rid ourselves of sin and being a testimony to others to walk the path that leads to God.

Many cultures are disciplined in their religious orders, but not all seek the living Lord. Not all seek truth giver, but the element of truth by proverbs, never seeking the one that gave the word in the first place. Jesus takes away that barrier between worship of the proverb and the worship of God by being Lord, the only image we can bow too. Not image of stone but life perfect in holiness because God walked among us as His Dear Son/as the Word of God in the flesh.

Jews were justified through faith not by works, they worshiped and strived to follow in the ways of God. Yet corrupt leaders often lead man astray. The need of a Savior was already in place. The hearing of God’s voice and His Word, yet they were only willing to listen to man like Moses, David and so forth. Yet even God brought them to their knees in the wilderness when the serpents bit. The need for God was given. People fell on their knees and told Moses speak to God for us for deliverance. It was not grumbling of the past but a seeking of truth for themselves. The miracle needed for healing. They lifted up the serpent as instructed and God provided the miracle of healing. The one that looked to God could bring healing through the law of God. Knowledge of the law would bring healing. With understanding of what God wanted would enable man to seek God. Knowing God was just and would forgive them of sin if they repented.

The hope of glory is seen through God’s word, through God’s only begotten Son the Word of God. Christ is our living example how to live. The disciples followed in Christ footsteps of healing, preaching and seeking God face most of all. Is that what you are doing? Or are you living on the pew and seeking only what you can gain by being in church. The Christmas message being lost with the tradition of man. Seeking of presents verses spirituality. Christ Is coming even now to your heart through His Word. Study scripture yourself.

Dear Heavenly Father has your people that are called by your name humble themselves in submission to your Word, justify them through Your Son, giving hope to each and every believer and non believe of the possibility of living for you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: James 1:21-25 KJV
(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
(23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
(24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
(25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Daily God’s Promises: Romans 3:22-26 KJV
(22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
(23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
(25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Sacrifice Of Children

Daily Devotions for Monday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 57:1-21 KJV
(1) The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
(2) He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
(3) But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
(4) Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
(5) Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
(6) Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
(7) Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
(8) Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
(9) And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.
(10) Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
(11) And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
(12) I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
(13) When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
(14) And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
(15) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(16) For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
(17) For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
(18) I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
(19) I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
(20) But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
(21) There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

There is always those stories of killing of the innocent heard either in childhood around Halloween, or perhaps in young adulthood that unnerves a person. No one truly believes they exist today, only to have them spring up without warning of a case in the news. One here’s of kidnapping, and child abduction has it part of someone sick perverted mind. Yet society fails to know it could be someone ritualism or pagan sacrifice. Women have aborted babies for years , some because they felt they need not one more mouth to feed, or because they wanted to live life never thinking of the life they destroyed before it had a chance to live. Many societies have one way or another to get rid of unwanted children, or children they choose for their sick pervert theology. Yet few realize that it been going on long before our modern times.

The slaughter of children after the wise men came is just one incident of mass killing infants in scripture another time was at the time of Moses. No one could imagine someone killing the innocent. Yet in some tribes if a child was deformed they were killed because odds were they would not make it through life and would be a burden to society as a whole. These practices are almost as old as the first ancient man.

With each fir tree going up the sacrifice of children hearts with each surprise and desire brought to the wishes of their children of what man can supply verses the Christmas story. However pagan tradition were not about spiritual killing of children under the Christmas tree but about pagan worship. Children say humbug who is Jesus and what is Santa bringing me. Some do not even know the story of the night before Christmas or how Saint Nick got down the chimney it about what they get and how much. Some picking out of the catalog with no real surprises under the tree. Not like Christmases long ago where children desired just a candy cane, a piece of fruit, a toy and hopefully a new outfit.

There is a point to this , is Christmas coming and going without knowledge of dreams and hopes of a better tomorrow, are we sacrificing our children to traditions that first originated with gifts of the wise men to the new king. Has these traditions become lost. I promise I am not trying to be the Grinch before Christmas. In truth Christmas will come whether or not there is a thing under the tree, because it springs in the heart of all of us that believe in Jesus. It is the one time of year we are all in agreement of the birth of Christ.

A hope for tomorrow and well wishes to all, let us not sacrifices the kids hopes and dreams by forsaking the true meaning of Christmas. Let us put Christ back in Christmas and stop sacrificing our children to devil. Nothing wrong with gift giving, but to forsake the true meaning is to forsake our Savior birth.

Dear Heavenly Father help us as a nation to turn to the worship of Christ at Christmas and forsaking the gifts of man for the memories of Christ and true gift giving of love. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Every Sunday A Psalms: When Will The Savior Come

Daily Devotions for Sunday: by turtle30c

Psalms 14:1-7 KJV
(1) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
(2) The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
(3) They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(4) Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
(5) There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
(6) Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
(7) Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

No man no the hour of Christ return upon the earth, yet when the prophesy of the Messiah came, it came with a warning. We see a loving Savior, but Judgment was coming to the world. In the days of Noah only one man was found righteous in the eyes of the Lord. One man and that one man God felt the need to save him and his loved ones. That man was Noah. Noah was saved with seven of his family members, making a total of eight that survived by the building of the Ark. Yet the warning came for over 100 years of that generation of wrath of God coming. That was the spirit of God’s word going forth to tuitions or guardianship bring forth correction to the world.

This is Christmas Sunday and I think of how Christ proclamation came through the prophesy of the word to a believing people of God, yet many did not believe Jesus was more then a prophet. One has to look at what did prophets do before the time of Christ and some would say it seemed they had some type of super hero power, yet none would claim that power being their own. The proof of God would come through each prophet of the Bible, including some false ones that obeyed God out of the will of God like Balaam. Jews understood salvation would come after the restoration of Israel. Yet few understood God‘s word would not be on the throne at the time of the Messiah. Christ came abiding by the law of man. Living as we do under subjection to God and the law of man.

Christ coming was not to take away man decision to have a human govern them, but to become ruler of the heart of man. Evilness of man was so corrupt. God‘s people needing hope at the time of a Savior. Those devout in faith subject to the law of man because of ancient ancestors at the time of Saul. No king could rule in perfection that was man, but man was in fear of God and desired to be more like the heathens and God granted it.

God allowed man to have his desire something not good for him, and that made God subject to man. God still cared for man, but had to protect His people. He provided for the heathens as well as his own. Yet there were just and Godly kings that did rule Israel but not all of them. Just like in world today there are godly rulers and evil rulers. The only way to get a godly king or ruler to rule the people is for Christ to rule the heart of man. So basically God‘s law of love rules many leaders despite how evil some leaders are. After all compassion was given to all mankind not just to a believer. If it were not so we all be in trouble. There would be no mercy upon the earth but God‘s. The Messiah came teaching subjection but also taught obedience to God the Father. That law of obedience to His Word despite what man laws were came with a price to a believer who taught the heathens. God desire to rule the heart of everyone, but man must choose to do good or evil. To believe or not believe.

Christ coming came at the appropriate time.. Came to this generation of restoration to Israel under Roman rule. If we think we understand the coming and time and season of Christ second coming we better take a look at the heart of man. Whoops we can not see the heart of man not even our own, for this reason we do know if we ourselves are a liar but by the conviction of the heart because of sin. Until we examine our own hearts Christ will have no place in it. Until we take charge of own action giving them over to Christ, we will be subjection only to the law of man.

Will you choose today to believe in Jesus the law of God, the law of love. Or will you be only subject to the law of man and greedily ways. Doing good to only promote oneself and not to help another. We need to remember to love others not for what we will gain. If God loved us by what He would gain, then there be no compassion for the heathen only the wrath of God, if that is all the heathen seen they would have no desire for God. Christ came to set free the heart of man to believe and to love.

Dear Heavenly Father as Christmas approaches let us remember you came to demonstrate love through your Son at the time of man’s rule. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Psalms 53:6 KJV
(6) Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Daily God’s Promises: Revelation 22:1-7 KJV
(1) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
(2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
(4) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
(5) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
(6) And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
(7) Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Time Of Christ: Name Of Our Lord

Daily Devotions for Saturday: by turtle30c

Matthew 1:17-25 KJV
(17) So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
(18) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
(19) Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
(20) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
(21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
(22) Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
(23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
(24) Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
(25) And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Seldom does one consider the time of Christ in the since of power and prestige of the nation of Israel, for it was in submission to another power. A time of financial prosperity for a people, and a time of prosperity for the Idolaters that govern the land of Israel. Money often brings about hope of a better future. Yet Christ is to bring hope of a better tomorrow as well as present. Jesus means the name of the Lord. The promised Savior would be called Immanuel in the Hebrew and Emmanuel in the Greek, translated to God with us or the name of the Lord. One must pause for a moment and think of the importance of the name of Jesus. It said every knee would bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. No doubt the wise men and shepherds that first Christmas morn did this, but today’s lesson is about the signs of the time. Joseph own fear of taking in Mary would be relieved by vision from heaven.

If God is so gracious to speak through visions to His people, then one must grasp that the power of those visions to compel a person is great. To be moved by visions and the voice from heaven, should be enough to move a person forward in faith, but John the Baptist even had doubts. One can only imagine the earthly father of Jesus would have doubts taking in a pregnant woman, and he knew he had not slept with her. Joseph was called a just man. One has to think what is just, one that chooses to do good and not evil to those that might not be in godly obedience. Mary pregnancy an embarrassment to Joseph. Feeling perhaps she had already was a cheater and decided instead of having her stone would take care of the issue. Yet the vision of God would compel Joseph to obey in taking Mary to be His wife despite her pregnancy, because it was of the Holy Spirit. Mary was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit. She would have had to have gone before the priesthood. Perhaps even made to drink bitter water that might kill her or her baby. It was a test of whether it was of God or not by Israel law. Yet common law of Roman would have permitted the baby to be born and raised by Mary.

The common law of the time did not even discourage women from sleeping around. In fact to be a virgin during that time had to be almost about faith and not governmental issue. There been laws even on the books of our nation concerning sex that would surprise most today. Yet each country and each government has had different rules or thoughts on family, sexuality and more in the since on what is considered abuse inside a marriage. Yet this was not the case for the young couple betroth to get married. God requires one to abstain from sex in pagan temples. Peter and the church council decided this during the period of the early church for the gentile nation. It is probably the most legal law given concerning sex with idols in the Bible.

One might ask then if Mary found with purity concerning the conception of the Son why even discuss the rules of ancient world. Accept the fact and move on. People want to know how come people of Biblical beliefs can seem ignorant. Not knowing the facts or the history. Joseph no doubt doubted the facts of the conception by the Holy Spirit, the word coming forth as promised. Despite religious leaders confirming the truth. He not only had to deal with religious leaders but the legal issues. Religious leaders were not backing him concerning stoning Mary because of virgin prophesy, and the Rome would of laughed him right out of the judicial system. Joseph must of praised God when God spoke directly to Him.

Kind of like if the President spoke directly to you concerning an issue that you could fix and no one else. Joseph being just and righteous in faith was going to put Mary away privately. Dissolve the problem between religious zealots and government. With that thought the vision and what the angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph meant if Joseph disobeyed God he was in trouble. At the moment I think he might of felt he had no alternative but obedience, despite what he believed or thought. If God is not for you, you will be against you. The wrath of God is greater then the wrath of man. Yet if God is for you then you can walk through the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil.

Joseph knew no doubt the promise name of the Messiah Emmanuel. When he heard it I imagine He gave a shout. He knelt if nothing more during his sleep and his waking hour, that he would be privilege to care for His Lord human needs. He was after all the bread winner for the family. Yet with Christ around would Joseph even need to work. I do not doubt he did, for he was a craftsmen by trade. He was a carpenter.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the vision you spoke to Joseph of the promise Messiah to come through His espouse wife Mary. Give us the same hope through visions and dreams of our coming Lord. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Thieves and Winners

Daily Devotions for Friday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 56:1-12 KJV
(1) Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
(2) Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
(3) Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
(4) For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
(5) Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
(6) Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
(7) Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
(8) The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
(9) All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
(10) His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
(11) Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
(12) Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

I am often amazed at the gluttony of others and then I have to look at myself in the mirror and say are you not desiring the things of this world. It is Christmas and all want those gifts of years gone by the magic of the season of the gifts no one knows about. The hiding of boxes until it almost time to keep prying fingers from opening them premature. You know the memories of trees that fill the room or that Charlie brown tree that not so big, but when decorated it looks beautiful to all that see it. I can not think of anyone not liking Christmas, and yet in truth Christmas is more then gifts and ribbons but about the first gift of God’s Son, the word of God coming in the flesh for mankind. To teach us not to be false teachers, or people desiring wealth and the greed, but to desire the things of God.

To desire the things of God is greater then any worldly possession yet gold is a survival tool used to trade with. It is putting the object of money in to perspective. Saint Nicholas gave to the orphans once a year and so the tradition of Santa Claus was born, not of greed or wealth, but out of the heart of giving to the less fortunate. It was one way of giving back to God and others out of love. It was not out of greed that this was done. Christmas has gone far from its traditions of origins of yesteryears to represent how many gifts everyone gets or do not get. Yet for some it still about the tradition of giving.

When the world begins to think less about giving and more about taking it becomes an issue of the disease that plagued ancient times. A disease of wealth and greed. The zest for more and more. That lust leads to corruption of both government, neighbors, and families. It causes corruption in our churches and any religious institution political as well. It is the very thing that causes devils to rise and fall.

Yet what we fail to learn is that belief in God is first our righteousness and that God’s grace is beyond finding out. If our greed was toward the things of God and not the world we find that we have to pour out what God gives us to receive more. The Eunuch will never say he a dry tree, or childless. He will take from the wealth of God and bear fruit like any other. Gays that are Christians are very close to eunuch life style. Yet religious eunuchs would be like the priest that taken a vow of celibacy to protect God’s heritage. The church leaders taking their call to protect the things of God over the things of man.

This Christmas may your heart be filled with God’s love of the greatest gift of all the Word of God/The Son of God in the flesh born not of wealth, though he be wealthier then all of God’s children until the day of each believers inheritance is received. The wealth of heaven. The healing comes from this wealth to the nations and to each individual, yet until that time, we are to give and to care about others. To love others with the same love you love yourself.

Dear Heavenly Father may we love as you loved us by sending the greatest gift of all your Son Jesus. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: Philippians 3:2-3 KJV
(2) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
(3) For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Daily God’s Promises: Titus 3:4-8 KJV
(4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
(5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
(6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
(7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Godly Prosperity

Daily Devotions for Thursday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 55:1-13 KJV
(1) Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
(2) Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
(3) Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
(4) Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
(5) Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
(6) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
(8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
(9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
(10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
(11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
(12) For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
(13) Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Godly prosperity is not by things you buy yourself, or gain with your own ability. Godly prosperity. No one thinks of prosperity in the since of things you can not buy yourself. It is not bread, food, or jewels yet we all seek these things by our natural desires. Some might say if you wait for manna from heaven that all you will eat, forgetting the very food that you eat was created and designed by God for the pleasure of the palate. Yet in disastrous times any food seems good. In times of plenty one needs only to desire the fruit to quench the appetite to be satisfied when it is brought for dinning. I often think of little evangelistic churches designed just for evangelism but seldom for the continual growth of larger or more plentiful churches. The table laden with much to eat to keep the congregation feed for long periods of time of growth, decline, and resurrection to growth again. Smaller church only waiting for death to begin a new revival fail to realize the revival was already planned for them to go. Failing to understand that true revival continues on from day to day and week to week through every season in which seeds meant for harvest fall.

God designs the growth process not man, and though man disrupts God’s productivity by mass destruction God still sows the seeds meant for harvest by natural design of birds, wind, and other animals carrying it forth. God needs not you to plant prosperity, but to be a tree that carries forth His prosperity. It kind of like dancing and God has the lead steps and all you have to do is follow. When you begin to dance with God your first steps might be clumsy and awkward but sooner or later God will bring you in tune with his steps as the music of his design is played around you.

Esther came before the throne of the Persian king perhaps desired that position and perhaps not. Yet her position was one of wealth it was also a fine line between obeying the king and God. After all her predecessor had been humiliated and killed. Yet God put her in place for a particular purpose. The purpose to rise up to protect His people. To be a woman of grace and beauty of God’s faithfulness to his people despite them desiring ungodly king as a spouse and being subject to him.

We all desire wealth and we become subjects to money, only to be still loved by God. God allows this type of idolater for his purpose. God plan was for man to work. To till the soil. So man and women work to only have brambles and things grow around their trunk. That in time will be removed to poverty and death. You can not take wealth with you when you die, but you can perhaps earn enough money to die in luxury. Yet to die in luxury of faith is to learn to walk and dance with God through out life.

God designed religion for the people to learn to know Him, not to be excluded or to exclude people from faith. Our faith if practiced can become surrounded with brambles of ritualism that has to be cut down eventually so one can grow in faith for God’s use and harvest. God provides for all things but spirituality is only prospered by God’s unchanging hand.

A man saved by God’s grace died only to have seed sown by many. Yet God intervened on the man’s death bed. He died with faith planted by the hand of God in his life. The seed being carried by those who passed by dropping and water the word in his life. Out of his death came two more resurrections of faith. Yet no one would of believed this if they had not been a witness to the process.

God’s grace is sufficient to all of us, no matter who we are. God’s word springs for life to all that hear and receive it. When will you receive it, that up to you. Yet it is only by God’s sprinkler system that enables those seeds to grow unto fruit. God can raise up who ever to protect His people from around the world. Cuba people are seeing hope spring a new in their country. Yet is it destruction for us or unity and peace, only God knows the answer to this.

Dear Heavenly Father bring forth food for harvest, for growth in your people that they will see your word comes not back void in the life of all that believe no matter where they are from. That Christ died to save us all from sin. His resurrection brought forth eternal life. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Daily Bible Verses: John 15:8 KJV
(8) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Daily God’s Promises: 1 Corinthians 3:7-11 KJV
(7) So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
(8) Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
(9) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
(10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
(11) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Children of God Vs Children Not Born Of God

Daily Devotions for Wednesday: by turtle30c

Isaiah 54:1-17 KJV
(1) Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
(2) Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
(3) For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
(4) Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
(5) For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
(6) For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
(7) For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
(8) In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
(9) For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
(10) For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
(11) O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
(12) And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
(13) And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
(14) In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
(15) Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
(16) Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
(17) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Sitting this morning and thinking how all are born into this world, but not all are born into a family of believers, until salvation or not. Jewish people were consider children of God even when Israel did not obey God. Imagine even in your disobedience you were God’s child. Yet we know that was not so with all the children of the world. There were outcast of God’s children based on disobedience, and worship of idols. Yet Israel did these things and were not consider children of the devil. This was national thing and not individual promise of God. Salvation to the world and salvation individually. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe would not perish but have everlasting life. Devil believes and he lands up in eternal lake of fire.

God’s children is all of us, but Israel was example of this fact to the world. The cost of obedience known through God’s chastisement. God corrects those He loves. He does correct the world of their choice to serve or disobey Him. Israel found herself on the backside of God’s wrath for disobedience and could no longer look at herself as in the favor of God. Yet she knew God’s mercy and grace, with that knowledge gave her the ability to teach the gentiles once again of the hope of faith. The price of obedience and disobedience that came, no longer having to worry about sin because it was covered once and for all through Christ Jesus the promise of the Word of God to all that believed.

Our ability as believers to say I am God’s favorite is amazing. Some kids consider themselves their mom’s or dad’s favorite and in truth they are loved equal perhaps for different things they are liked more. Yet to lose either is a travesty. God has always had the ability to teach all His children faith. There were those not of Abraham family that always feared God, and yet we wonder why the story of Noah alone brings many to their knees. Many nations have that story in their history.

Our inability to distinguish between what God’s says coming forth to event and who and what we worship seems to be the trouble perhaps to many. Many seeped in traditions even down to honor an celebration of man to the point some even worship. Wishing for a real St Nick to appear, or Savior created by the human imagination and not one fashioned by the will of God like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ died for all not just one group of people. Yet some would like to corner the market on it today Claiming vastness of knowledge and only finding themselves in puddle of ignorance.

Jesus was prophesied about, yet He was also the very Word of God formed not by the procreation of man and woman designed by God, but by the prophetic word coming forth to the virgin Mary. Some culture do not accept a virgin birth, just like they do not accept the birth of Isaac, or John the Baptist. Impossible conception happening when time of life of production was over. Yet these were not a virgin birth only a reminder of the hope to come on the sign of the prophesy of the virgin birth. Much like the resurrection of Christ was preceded in the resurrection of Lazarus, and a few more, even a several in the Old Testament. The impossible not seeming possible but it happened.

The reality of God shining forth through the impossible happening. God speaking the impossible so that one can believe. With this ability of faith comes something a power of no weapon being able to be formed against it will remain. It like a refiner fire. All burnt away like the earth being burned with the wrath of God only to be built a new again. Anything not of faith is cut away and the solid part of faith remains. The God being the base of faith and salvation representing the love and hope that remains in the heart of man that believe. Yet if you never receive God’s salvation plan through His Savior you are without hope.

Dear Heavenly Father has the origin of faith is being remember let us not forget the hope and salvation message through Christ Jesus. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
