God’s Inheritance To His People

Daily Devotions For Monday: by Christina Farris 4/10/2017

Ezekiel 48:1-35 KJV
(1) Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
(2) And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Asher.
(3) And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali.
(4) And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh.
(5) And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim.
(6) And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben.
(7) And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.
(8) And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
(9) The oblation that ye shall offer unto the LORD shall be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.
(10) And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
(11) It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
(12) And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites.
(13) And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
(14) And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.
(15) And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
(16) And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
(17) And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.
(18) And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.
(19) And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.
(20) All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.
(21) And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.
(22) Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince’s, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.
(23) As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
(24) And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.
(25) And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion.
(26) And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion.
(27) And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion.
(28) And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.
(29) This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.
(30) And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.
(31) And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.
(32) And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
(33) And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.
(34) At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.
(35) It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

If America was divided by God how would it be dispersed by so many people. Washing DC is probably the close city that is like Jerusalem in the since belonging to all states of the Union, yet it sits only in the middle of two states. It is not divided up by states has far as who protects what or what belongs to who, it more of a general area of being known has a national headquarter area. It being policed by its own cops, yet it resides in two states. It is governed by itself though it belongs in two states. It is where our capital lies as far as being something that belongs to all states of our union. Capital does not just belong to Maryland and Virginia, but all the way to Hawaii and Alaska, and down to Florida, and as far as Maine. No I did not forget territories off of Florida, but they do not have the same privileges as all states of the Union. There a point to this madness, Israel had a central city that belong to all of them, that had not only the Palace within that city but also the Temple of God. The city of God had twelve gates. Each gate representing the twelve tribes of Israel. Each tribe had a responsibility to each section. It was divided in such a way that offerings/obligations were paid to each portion. Priesthood would be controlled by one group that had not bowed their heads to idols, despite the people.

The division of inheritance to Israel land was divided by tribe and the great city of God was divided as well. Inheritance between all twelve tribes were equally by portion. If you twelve kids, you have to divide things up fairly. If at a birthday party everyone gets exactly the same thing to eat. Yet the division is more like a cover dish supper. Everyone bring what their family would eat for dinner, or a little extra. With doing a lot of freezing of late of leftovers, it seems that everything I do is by portion. Portion for this for a meal or part of a meal depending on what it is. However I land up with a half of a portion of beans that went with another dish, that some how I had forgotten we had. Did not know what I was fixing because I forgot the label, but said it a small container it will just have to go with the meal. It was not what I thought it was. The priest were suppose to be of God, but pressures of their people caused them to serve idols perhaps as in the days of the golden calf. Only one priest found to be worthy for they changed not in their faith to God.

Israel had entrance into the great city of Jerusalem despite their holiness, but there was only one into the temple and one way out depending on what side of the temple you were on. The temple at four doors, represent the future four Gospels. The Christian built on the four squares of the Gospel of Christ, yet more books told the journey after Christ. There is only one way into heaven that is through Christ, but there are many doors into heaven that goes to the palace doors, or the Judgment. Seat of God. Anyone could come into Jerusalem, but not everyone could approach the enter sanctuary of God’s temple where God dwelt. Not all would see the king, but all would face the government.

The portion of land outside of Israel was the Gentile nation’s. Israel land seems small when one thinks of the world portion of land. We must remember Adam and Eve were exiled from paradise. God’s throne no longer theirs. There children would live and blossom all over the world. The city and division of God’s land only symbolic of heaven. God’s children that are saved by His grace through His Son will receive an inheritance as Sons and daughters. Palestinian state represent a portion of land that belongs to the gentiles, outside of Israel. This land recently recognized by the United States government in the past ten years. Yet this land been recognized by God much longer.

The point being God has a portion of land that belongs to the everyone and it is heaven, if one is saved through Christ Jesus. We become joint heirs with Jesus upon salvation. Our inheritance being part of God’s family. In ancient world of Israel by the law it took ten generations of gentiles that dedicated their life to God to have full legal rights in the temple as family of faith.

The importance of all the measurements is God knows how many people are going to live in heaven. How many people will climbing Jacobs ladder and climbing up and down the stairway of heaven. There is a time coming God will call for his elect, for those to come home. God’s people are and will persecuted for His Son. No one wants to think about persecution or the cost of following Christ. No one wants to think of only a few gaining inheritance because of faith. No one wants to think that someone might not believe, especially when humanly that do good. Faith without works is dead and works with out faith is dead. Faith and works go hand in hand. One says they believe once saved always saved, and I will tell you the devil believes and trembles because his time is running short upon the earth. God has standards that will not be broken and he knows the measurement of His city and his house. He knows the portion everyone will be receiving. Let us not forget that God knows what you will be getting before you do when it comes to inheritance of faith.

As we close with Ezekiel we must remember Ezekiel seen God’s throne room bigger then just Jerusalem and yet it is a mini version of the real throne room of God. The people of God need the symbols of faith and to hold to the ideology of heavens portion equally divided.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to have the hope of faith through Christ Jesus. Help us to reflect on Jerusalem of being image of things to come in physical demonstration of faith.. Help us to know ther eonly one way to heaven and the changing place is here on earth. In Jesus precious name, amen.

(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
(4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
(5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
(6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
(7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
(8) Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Time Of Christ: Preparation For The Journey

Daily Devotions For Saturday: by Christina Farris 4/8/2017

Matthew 26:36-46 KJV
(36) Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
(37) And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
(38) Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
(39) And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
(40) And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
(41) Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(42) He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
(43) And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
(44) And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
(45) Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
(46) Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

The last few times I have to have a surgical procedure, I found the distance to the place of surgery quite a feat at the wee hours of the morning. Leaving at one o’clock in the morning for five o’clock appointment in winter is not a good choice. I do not doubt that is has been frustrating for many people of my region, yet there is always the stories of people walking hundreds of miles in Africa and Asia, that it makes the short journey so much easier, especially knowing people traveled without cars to get to their destination, with some friends carrying them and others walking alone in great pain and anguish. The journey three hours in a vehicle seems like a piece of cake and one not worth complaining about. Yet it is the hour of time that is always an issue before a journey to and from location especially as one ages. When I think of being in the backwoods, it not my location, and yet as hospitals change their procedures to get people better care else where it is now the backwoods. Yet doctors are hear that could take care of the procedure.

Why ramble this morning. One I struggled to get up and two my clock played tricks on both my husband and I. He thought he seen it say five this morning at four o’clock. My eyes not yet ready to arise because of the late hour I spent fiddling with an old computer. Yet there is a purpose to my madness, it is about time and about the length of time it takes for a journey to begin and end. Jesus final hours of time with his disciples was in the garden, and yet he spent that time alone in prayer as well as checking on them and reminding them to pray, and yet each time he found them asleep. I wonder as those disciples looked back on those hours if they would of changed their need of sleep. Their weariness being more in tune with the need of prayer for what was fixing to happen. Those of us who gone through anything in life, know the value of sleep sometimes before the journey. Yet Jesus was more concerned about their spiritual journey and the temptation to fight and run that was coming. Jesus knew that the disciples would have to pray alone in the days ahead. That their own struggle and journey as beginning as the soldiers lead Jesus away. Jesus aggravation with knowing ahead of time is seen in this passage, yet it is more then simple aggravation, it was Jesus final time in the garden before His death. He knew the disciples with him, so near and yet some distance off would not know the importance of watching. Anyone waiting for someone to die knows the inability to stay awake and focused on keeping the dying one comfortable and not alone, yet knowing one can not go with the dying to their destination. Death is not a journey cowards.

Jesus journey would take more then one day before going to the cross. He would stand trial before Jewish religious council, Herod and then Pilot. The journey long to wait to be executed, and yet it only took a few days. The mental part would have been the worse knowing he would die. Knowing in the garden His Father God could remove the cup of death from him, but He still cried out not my will but yours Father. Jesus was an obedient Son unto death, and yet He also understood death was not a permanent place for Himself. He knew He would rise again. The prayer in the garden was for his disciples to learn, to know that the hour of death would be according to the will of God and not the will of their own heart.

Christ journey to the cross from birth to the grave was only 33 years of human life, and yet 3 years in ministry only caused the world to hate him. It hard to understand why anyone would hate Jesus. It more then jealousy or money. Maybe it more about inability to be perfect as Jesus was. Seeing Jesus always right and never wrong. Maybe jealous that He did do great miracles. Whatever the reason that cause the world to hate Jesus. We know it was the will of God for the world to crucify his Son.

The crucifying of Jesus is only one example of our inability to do the will of God always. The need of God to fulfill his will in our life must be by His hand. A child playing with blocks builds a huge castle, only to know all the blocks must fall, because the beauty of the structure is not built to last. The building of God’s word is meant to last even into the next life time. His word is clear and sound. If you love me be my disciples. If you love me obey me.

God’s word clear from beginning, and the journey and message of God as stood through out ages past till now. The journey long for God’s word. God’s word dies with some generation only to be resurrected by God alone, and by God’s grace. God’s word does have end and a beginning. Yet we know not the end or beginning beyond the hope of salvation and the promise of eternity. The journey with God is long, it is eternity not just this lifetime but through out the ages. I am in my forties and yet life has seemed short for the most part. Lifetime with Jesus is a long journey. Yet a journey worth the taking upon faith in Him. There is time when prayer is more important then sleep. Time of scripture reading is more important then rest. Yet even in the hours of spiritual surgery for healing of the heart the journey and hour long at times. Yet it God’s grace that the appointed hour of wake and sleep is given. God knows the spirit is willing but the body weak on more then one occasion especially of late. Yet He will be done in my life and yours. The hope resting in salvation of eternity with God through faith in Christ Jesus. Arise, to work, or to play, I guarantee your hour of decisions will come as it does to all of us, and some choices are not are own will.

Dear Heavenly Father give us the peace of knowing you with us through the journey of life that those things that are your will that is not necessarily our own desire, be guided by your hand, and not our own. That you know what we need the hour we need it. Help us to rest in your promise of eternity upon faith in your Son. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(18) And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
(19) For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
(20) And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

The Healing Of Division

Daily Devotions For Friday: by Christina Farris 4/7/2017

Ezekiel 47:1-23 KJV
(1) Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
(2) Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
(3) And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
(4) Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
(5) Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
(6) And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.
(7) Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
(8) Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
(9) And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
(10) And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
(11) But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
(12) And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
(13) Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.
(14) And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.
(15) And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;
(16) Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazarhatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.
(17) And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
(18) And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.
(19) And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
(20) The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.
(21) So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
(22) And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
(23) And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

The time of peace comes with all groups coming together under unity of God. Our nation founded on the principals of God and a nation formed under God, despite there are those that want to move God out of our nation. For a believer our nation and all nations rise and fall by the hand of God. God’s throne is the only one with dominion forever. God’s kingdom is a place of healing begin in the temple. I had remember this passage about swimming in water to high to wade or walk in, but had not remember where it was. Yet it is fitting to understanding the depth of the word of God the living water of life for the believer and even some none believers.

Segregation is a horrible word in one sense, and yet it is a word that needs redefining in the since of segregating one’s self because of differences in choices, but not separation from being part of humanity and tolerance for others different then one’s self. Ezekiel seen a time of healing and much bearing of fruit from a life of tolerance with God on the throne. A time of both Gentile and Jew getting along.

As war remains in the middle east one can help but realize that peace is also there. Division of Arab world between, Jews, Islamic and Christians remain. Yet some countries choosing to work toward peace despite the fractions of other countries still fighting religious and political war. Part of heaven is heaven on earth where there is healing for not only the nations around the world but the nations of faith in God despite background. Healing coming from the fruit of the Spirit from the trees of the people of faith.

As a believer in Christ I have a desire by God grace to cause less division and greater unity, even if it means hatred toward me. Everyone bands together for one reason or another. America being one nation that decides not to have to agree with everyone, but agree to have tolerance for human rights. If your brutality causes me nightmares, you took away my rights. If a person takes another rights by causing division they have lost their own freedom.

God does not want to cause division but unity through faith and healing. He wants to take and bring healing through the fruits of the Spirit which is a process being seen around the world when love and hope is given. Bullets and weapons of warfare bring destruction before it brings hope. Hope is present and future. Hope of things to come and hope has arrived. God’s word is life flowing water that when swam in, will be shallow at times going up to the chin, and deep water that flows with the need to swim and float on for a time before going to shore. Despite the healing of the word of God there are sharks that swim and bite, the healing of the fruit is need on the shore. The healing water keeping the wounds caused by the enemy, only causing healing. One has to remember until Christ returns, the devil will try and destroy the healing process. The devil will try to destroy God’s word, and destroy hope. Devil wants to cause division, but God’s word wants to bring peace and safety. God’s word is a book of many groups of people, not just about God’s people. It not just about faith but those that choose not to obey God. God’s word as the origins of the nations within it. Yet there people that only wish to destroy it.

God’s word tears down division. God’s word tells about harlot, as well the people of faith. God’s word tells about devil even about the people caught in idolatry. God’s people are victorious. Even the heathen in scripture have the warnings from God almighty because of sin. He leaves no one out of his warnings, and the fact he speaks to more then one group of people.

John vision in Revelation that goes along with Ezekiel vision is about a time of Christ return and the final victory of those around the throne that worship the Lord from all nationalities. Healing of false teaching comes with faith, and love. The division that comes from different social background cease. The devil is destroyed.

Dear Heavenly Father has we see your desire to bring our nation and that nation’s around the world to peace, let us not forget the battle that it takes to get to the point of peace. Let us not forget your return gives hope to all the believers but destruction to those of no faith. That healing only comes by the fruit of your love for us and others. Give us your grace that we may be part of the healing process and not part of division in people’s life. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study For Devotions: Revelation 22:1-5 KJV
(1) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
(2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
(4) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
(5) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Do Not Go Out The Way You Came In

Daily Devotions For Thursday: by Christina Farris 4/6/2017

Ezekiel 46:1-24 KJV
(1) Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
(2) And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
(3) Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons.
(4) And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.
(5) And the meat offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the meat offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
(6) And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.
(7) And he shall prepare a meat offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
(8) And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of that gate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof.
(9) But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.
(10) And the prince in the midst of them, when they go in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth.
(11) And in the feasts and in the solemnities the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
(12) Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, one shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.
(13) Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning.
(14) And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD.
(15) Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering.
(16) Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by inheritance.
(17) But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.
(18) Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.
(19) After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward.
(20) Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.
(21) Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.
(22) In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure.
(23) And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about.
(24) Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.

The formality of worship seems strange to those not accustom to formal ways of worship. Ever go into a church with a kneel rail at the pew, or where altar boys light candles where in one’s own church this is not a normal thing, it seems odd and beautiful at the same time. It is nice to visit a church service different then one’s own because it helps understand the very nature that some customs are just different and symbolic for one reason or another. Some traditions self explanatory and others need more defining. The Jewish temple was no exception when it came to customs and traditions even down to sacrifice. Even down to the entry of the king/prince of the land. He was the only one allow to enter and go out the door he went in, but the rest of the people were not allowed to go out the same door they went in.

Symbolic in nature of not going out the door you go in meant that you went forth before God to the world as a testimony for God. One laid their sin at altar and went forth in humility and love to the world. If one turn around and went out the door he went in it symbolized he turned his back on God. I doubt this custom is still in practice in the Christian world but it is a saying in our world even today not to go out the same way you went in. Go in the back door and go in the front. Well in the temple one went in North gate or the south gate you exited the opposite.

An inheritance was given by a prince to his sons was his sons, and those given to a servant was like a loan till the time of jubilee. We are all God servants and though we go to be with God in heaven we will return to earth someday in the New Jerusalem to live. We strive to heaven only to return. At least in the New Jerusalem God and Christ rule and this imperfect world we live in no longer exist. Earth is as it was in heaven for the believer. In life we must go forward and yet we yet return to a place of sacrifice for sin. Yet for the believer Christ there is no more sacrifice for sin. Yet the act of repentance is repeat if nothing more but to get rid of sin and things we do in our human flesh that is not right with God and under God’s correction as believers. Yet when we rise from our knees in humility we must not turn back but go forward in faith and out not the door we came in for repentance.

Our faith must move ahead, but reality check of pearly gates for a time period is only the reminder of the continual stairway to heaven and earth that exist for the believer. Jacob went into the world of sin, to only return to a place of moving forward with God. It is almost as if he had to know what life was before he could continue with the God of His father Abraham. Jacob had wanted Esau birthright but he was not ready to wear the shoes of the birthright. Many of us want the heritance of God and yet not ready to journey to heaven, or forward in faith with God. Sometimes we want to go through other doors only to find those doors were shut and we just took a chainsaw and made our own door. The east gate was closed to those going through the temple. The prince was not allowed to go through any door he please to do so was in violation of tradition that meant something to the believer. The prince never going forward but backwards in faith. As a ruler he had to serve even the sinful man and often his own desires, never given thought to the holiness of faith he believed. Yet God still moved and worked in rulers lives and were even a friend of God. The customs of value, but only if you know what they mean and symbolize to the Jewish people and how it effects ones own faith in Christ despite the sacrificial law was no longer obeyed.

What if you sin and you turn away from sin is that good enough. That is all God requires today, but what about our own conscious. Let us look at Zacchaeus who returned what he stole to the people or David who wept in sack cloth and ask in his room only to rise and get dress and cease mourning after his punishment was executed. Something must be amend and other things can be and will be forgotten with no repayment of sin. Yet what might be your custom might not be another. Yet the custom of jail, legal law is custom not all except today as being right. The world has no sense of justice though it understands punishment. God’s people understand forgiveness, and yet often judge despite their own fallacies. A world of disarray of what is right and wrong because of freedom and free will of the human mind. God is great judge of the world and he knows the heart behind the sinner, and he knows if the punishment meets the crime and if forgiveness is all he offers for sin, then the hope of eternity with God is a reality and not a death sentence to hell for offense other then unbelief and abominations of adultery, idolatry and so forth. God does forgive unbelief upon salvation and idolatry and adultery with repentance, but not without. God can convict the heart but payment of sin must be given God’s way. The sacrificial laws teach God has a way of payment and forgiveness. Yet God’s salvation goes to his plan of salvation through his provision of the sacrifice for sin through his son Jesus. Our provision of sacrifice is only symbolic, for to bring the ram to the temple was provided by both the prince and the people. Some sacrifices for the nation and others for the individual. Christ paid the sin for the whole world for all that believe and receive. Yet as a believer in Christ we have a responsibility not to go out the door we came in, or the way we came in. To go into church with anger, or sin, it needs left at the altar.

Dear Heavenly Father move in our life, and change our hearts, so we do not go out the same door we came in. May your word be glorified. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Time Of Restoration For Israel

Daily Devotions For Wednesday: by Christina Farris 4/5/2017

Ezekiel 45:1-25 KJV
(1) Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about.
(2) Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.
(3) And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.
(4) The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.
(5) And the five and twenty thousand of length, and the ten thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a possession for twenty chambers.
(6) And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, over against the oblation of the holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.
(7) And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion, and of the possession of the city, before the oblation of the holy portion, and before the possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward: and the length shall be over against one of the portions, from the west border unto the east border.
(8) In the land shall be his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel according to their tribes.
(9) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
(10) Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.
(11) The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, and the ephah the tenth part of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer.
(12) And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs: twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh.
(13) This is the oblation that ye shall offer; the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of wheat, and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of barley:
(14) Concerning the ordinance of oil, the bath of oil, ye shall offer the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, which is an homer of ten baths; for ten baths are an homer:
(15) And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD.
(16) All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel.
(17) And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.
(18) Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:
(19) And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.
(20) And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.
(21) In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
(22) And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering.
(23) And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering.
(24) And he shall prepare a meat offering of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and an hin of oil for an ephah.
(25) In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the meat offering, and according to the oil.

The Restoration would be prophesied about the time before Christ. A time of restoration of Israel during the time of Nehemiah and Ezra. Also the time of Independence during the Maccabees era. During Nehemiah and Ezra time period they were still under foreign rule. However one has to realize during the time periods of Israel rule, a reestablishment of settlement of Israel would take place. People would gain land, and sacrifices would be made not only by the people but for the people by the prince or ruler of Israel. This was no different then the first time Israel came to the promise land and the land was divided out and even measured by portions. Something one has to remember God work seems to be measured. If nothing else to remind us how precise God is in his handiwork. With any celebration there is always planning unless thrown together. The children of Israel was going to be planning a celebration of restoration including the sacrifices for sin. Ezekiel would not see the promise of restoration of Israel, but it would prophesied in his day. Reminder of how Israel did things to the people. An oral rendition under the power of the Holy Spirit. Prophets were known for their knowledge of oral and written traditions as well as history of the people. The prophesy of hope of a restoration of Israel for the people.

Today as Christian one read Revelations only to find history of the measuring of the temple of God down to the the church going to be with Christ has his bride. The foretelling of the healing of not just God’s people but the healing of the nations. Anytime God’s word is preach it brings condemnation as well as healing and hope. Ezekiel words were about hope. The Christians being mixed of both Gentiles and Jews would see this time of restoration as a time of judgment to the heathens and restoration of God’s people with the coming of Christ return. The King of Israel was in charge or had duties during the ceremonies of sacrifices in Israel. A duty to be a part of the national sacrifice for sin. Today our nation has a call of prayer. No sacrifice needed to repent or seek forgiveness today because Jesus is our sacrifice. Jesus paid the price for our sins. One sacrifice paid it all, yet the call to repentance is still necessary.

Need more information on Israel going into the promise land the book of Joshua will help with the image of restoration of the people and offerings/oblation given. It important to note this history is vital to understanding what Ezekiel was not only teaching but foretelling about. How important the history of Israel was recorded and traditions kept. How God moved among his prophets to retelling of this time period. Perhaps that why those that believe not in the reality of God struggle because many nations did prophesy without necessarily things coming to pass as the prophets declaration of other nations’ gods. Israel God always spoke truth. As Christians we can rest on the truth and prophesy of God in the hearts of both the teachers and ourselves by the Holy Spirit. It is not just a historical document but a book of hope and faith. God has to reveal some things to the individual that can not be explained by another. The least you know sometimes has it advantages of understanding God’s prophesy spoken to the heart. When things happen has God speaks, you know it God. Not just oral and written prophesy, it is a real prophesy of hope in the heart of man. Though my lack of words to describe what I speak, I know it something God must teach you and I can not. I thank God I can not. It has to do with that personal relationship with a living God. God wants to restore people to himself. He wants to give them hope of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Let him explain it to you, let your hope be found through God’s revelation of His Word to your heart and mind.

Dear Heavenly Father restore the world to you by your power and revelation of your word to their hearts and mind. We humble ask for mercy to give the world time to understanding of your hope of your message of love and forgiveness to all that will and do believe. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
(3) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
(4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
(5) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
(6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
(7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
(8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
(9) And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
(10) And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
(11) Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
(12) And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
(13) On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
(14) And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
(15) And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
(16) And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
(17) And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
(18) And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
(19) And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
(20) The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
(21) And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
(22) And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
(23) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
(24) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
(25) And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
(26) And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
(27) And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The Purified Priesthood And Temple

Daily Devotions For Tuesday: by Christina Farris 4/4/2017

Ezekiel 44:1-31 KJV
(1) Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
(2) Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
(3) It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
(4) Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.
(5) And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.
(6) And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
(7) In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
(8) And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.
(9) Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.
(10) And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.
(11) Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
(12) Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.
(13) And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
(14) But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
(15) But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
(16) They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
(17) And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
(18) They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
(19) And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
(20) Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.
(21) Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.
(22) Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.
(23) And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
(24) And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
(25) And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves.
(26) And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.
(27) And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord GOD.
(28) And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.
(29) They shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.
(30) And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
(31) The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.

Why such detail to purity to the temple as well as the priesthood that minister to the Lord within the Temple? If God’s people are to be a witness to the lost why can not the lost enter into the temple of the Lord. The temple of the Lord was not for pagan idols or priesthoods. Other countries temples were litered with all kinds of gods and goddesses, not always having separate place of worship between gods. They were temples of Idolatry. God’s house was special, God called for his house not to be a den of thieves or a temple of Idolatry or Adultery. God’s house was to be sinless in the since of He was the only one to be worshipped within the temple. Those of pagan and idolatry were not allowed in to change the ways of God. They were not allowed in to worship, until they had been baptized and circumcised in the ways of God and have removed their idolatry and sin.

At one time the tradition of the church was to have teacher and ministers that taught outside the church among the heathens, and idolaters the ways of God in Home Bible Study People invite people to church without any thought of that person’s belief. Is this a bad things. Is the church corrupt. The church is only corrupt if they allow false gods to be worshipped inside their building. There are ministers today that will perform any religious ceremony known to man and their others that will only do ceremonies for God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One has to ask what kind of minister are you? Is there anything wrong with being kind to someone of another faith and interceding and using their faith to bring comfort in times of mourning, or dedication as far as children? My first question is who called you to serve God? God, the devil or the idols? Can the kindness of minister that perform many ceremonies be a witness of faith? Can someone marry someone outside the faith or even someone like homosexual couple? One has to ask is money involved? I think the better question is who called you to serve him. There will be always people that will be able to serve in those capacities that are nnot purified as the Holy Priesthood. However the people God need to know the difference of a minister for financial gain and one for Christ Jesus, One that service God alone.

We must remember God uses heathens, idolators through out scripture for his will. What kind of prophet was Haggi, Joes, Amos, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Obadiah, Micah, Zachariah, Zephaniah, Ezra, Nehemiah and Malachi. What kind of kings were Abimelech, Ahab, Solomon, King David and King Saul? None of the kings or Priest hear denied God’s call. However one priest name Hosea was called to marry adulterous woman, and some of these kings fear more then one god.

The call of purity and call of God on individual life? Are you called to serve God alone, or many gods? God only calls us to serve Him. He calls us to be separate from pagan practices. On my homepage I mention that there was two types of worship for Easter. I do not doubt some wonder why mention anything other then Christ. It is to help make people aware that not all celebrate Easter/Resurrection Day in tribute to Jesus victory over sin and death. It is a warning that people need to wake up that are believers in Christ that not all that say Lord, Lord will be entering into the kingdom. We need to cleanse our idolatry and idolatry practices no matter how innocent they are from ourselves and our practices. God has called his children to be part of the royal priesthood of God. To follow in Christ footsteps in the ways of God. He called us to be separatist and to teach others the baptism/circumcision of the heart of God. In other words we are to preach throughout the world about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Those not interested we leave alone, only acting in kindness despite our disagreements, to win them to Christ and to be a decent human being.

The truth of the matter there are places that do allow more then one faith to be served in even today, but God has not called his house a house of iniquity/sin. He called it to be holy. Do you serve as God has called you. Hosea, married Gomer and said it was of God. Not everything God ordains is Holy or right. Something are for a teaching of the people. How did Hosea separate his duties as a prophet from who He married, I believe He used his wife in his ministry dealing with Idolatry of Israel. See faith is individual. You can not make the person you live with or married to saved. You can only be a testimony to the person if they are unsaved and can only be a partner in faith with someone of the same faith. God cause us as individuals first and then as we teach our family and friends second t be holy to Him alone. Faith is individual, and within the walls of worship that place is Holy. Do you have a Holy place to worship, most of us are not in a purified world, but there are cultures that are living in a purified state but not always up to that holiness. Not one group is without sin. We can not force people to believe as we do. We must allow and pray for God to convict the heart. Our job is to only obey God in love and purity.

Dear Heavenly Father your call of your children is to purity. It not just to the priesthood but to individuals who desire to obey and follow you. Whether in the place of purity or a place of iniquity, may your purity run through the believer cleansing the believer from sin. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
(11) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
(12) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Build On The Laws of God

Daily Devotions For Monday: by Christina Farris 4/3/2017

Ezekiel 43:1-27 KJV
(1) Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
(2) And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
(3) And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
(4) And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
(5) So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
(6) And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
(7) And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
(8) In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
(9) Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
(10) Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
(11) And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
(12) This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
(13) And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
(14) And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
(15) So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.
(16) And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.
(17) And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
(18) And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
(19) And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
(20) And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
(21) Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
(22) And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
(23) When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
(24) And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
(25) Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
(26) Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
(27) And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

Talked yesterday about David buffet table of the word of God, and Ezekiel is only reflecting on these points once more. Ezekiel time period is still under the old covenant of God. Christ had not come in the flesh yet, but would be. This Old Testament covenant is it necessary today as far as religious practice of Old Testament. Is it important to build on the law of the Old Testament to establish faith. The law declares our sin, without knowledge of the law one can not know what sin against God is. Yet is the law established today in the since of faith in the religious aspect of the sacrifices. There is no more sacrifice because Christ was the final sacrifice of our faith. Yet in Ezekiel time revival meant that reestablishing of the Old Covenant and the Sacrificial laws. The Old Covenant in the sense of righteousness because of faith never ceased, but something must be established first between Old and New Testament. Without faith there is no righteousness. Believing in God as far as faith as been important and believing His Word. That part of the covenant never changed from Old to New Testament. The covenant that changed was the Sacrificial law that is spoken of in this chapter, dealing with the purging of sin from Israel and the daily sacrifice for a week to cleanse the temple and the people.

As Christians we must remember that Jesus became our atonement for our sin, the old religious law destroyed in the since of ritualism was no longer necessary to making the sacrifices in modern times or after the crucifixion of Jesus. Yet meantime in the book of Ezekiel the Old religious law would be reestablished to purge the temple and the people of sin. The prophets spoke of a time coming when God would write His laws on the believers heart, yet this was not something new either. For God established the law in the hearts of the people from the time of Moses. The idea of a law that governed the people was known concept by the time of Moses. Yet there was a time of unwritten law, but law that God established with man through and by His Spirit. Abraham lived during this time, though there was a High Priest he paid tithe too and yet Abraham was consider a priest of God. God talked to Abraham and established the covenant of circumcision a reminder of faith. Faith of Abraham being because he did what God told him to because he believed God by going to the Promise Land. The law of sacrifice begin with Cain and Abel. Cain giving sacrifice to God that did not please God.

God’s law of sacrifice had to be established. If God sent His Son in to the world as a sacrifice for us doing away with the Old Covenant of the sacrificial law, then the establishment of faith never changed, but the sacrificial law did. If Israel today re establishes the sacrificial law to purge the temple and the people is this sin against God today. One has to remember that denying of God’s promised redeemer, promised from Old Testament is part of faith. If the Old law of sacrifice was reestablished in the vision of Ezekiel then it was something necessary when Israel was restored, despite under the law of the heathens.

Teaching of the foundation of God begins with faith, not the covenants or ordinance of the Moses law. Why then if the law would change was it reestablished before Christ. It is a reestablishment of the holiness of faith and value of the sacrifice as a reminder the cost to one’s relationship because of sin. Sin separates us from sin, repentance draws us nearer to God. The law of God begins at the heart and not the sacrifices of man. Yet the sacrifices were reminders of faith. God was reestablishing the reminders to help purge the sin from the people. Christ crucifixion purge us by making us guilty of sin and the separation from God because of sin, repentance and the burial of sin through the cross, gave us hope of victory through Christ Jesus. Without the promises of Christ coming the sacrificial laws would have to remain. Jesus died for being the Messiah. He died paying the price of our sin. God would under the new covenant establish His laws by the Holy Spirit in the heart of each believer. The first law being faith. And second law still turning from sin to serve a Living God and His Word.

Reestablishment would remind the people of faith, and hope. Ezekiel day being much harder then it is today, for they were under that Old Covenant. That same covenant David was built upon. The same covenant that was established time of Moses. What did Abraham sacrifice. He sacrifice his family, giving up his family to follow God. He sacrificed his first born for a women, and almost killed the promised seed for his God, who stopped him and gave him a ram for sacrifice instead. Part of faith is obeying God when He speaks to you to do something. Part of faith is trusting God under covenant of Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father thatnk you hope that comes through Christ and for the New Covenant of faith. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(11) But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
(12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
(13) For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
(14) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(15) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
(16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
(17) For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
(18) Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
(19) For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
(20) Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
(21) Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
(22) And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
(23) It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
(24) For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
(25) Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
(26) For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
(27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
(28) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Inner And Outter Part Of Our Lives

Daily Devotions For Friday: by Christina Farris 3/31/2017

Ezekiel 42:1-20 KJV
(1) Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.
(2) Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.
(3) Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.
(4) And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
(5) Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
(6) For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
(7) And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
(8) For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.
(9) And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
(10) The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
(11) And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
(12) And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
(13) Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
(14) When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
(15) Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
(16) He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
(17) He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
(18) He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.
(19) He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
(20) He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

The part of our lives no one shares with us is the secret compartments of our heart. The inner part not seen by man even in situations where we like to really say or do what we think or feel and yet continue to act as proper society people. The feeling of want to really tell someone off but does not. That inward emotions of tears when there is only a smile on the face. The inward part that smiling though the tears fall for camaraderie with others that mourn. The out part of us that hide our true nature, though it looks good outwardly inwardly the heart sees the reflection of a well groomed and oil machinery of a robotic action taught from years of training.

The inward part of the temple is the place of the Holies of Holies. The place that was protected from the sins of the world. Purity of priest that would inter would be on ceremony cleansing and purification of even food brought to the Holies of Holies. The secret apartment of where God lived. The bridal chamber of where the priest minister to God and commune with God. The inward place Zecharias enter to only have the Angel Gabriel tell of his wife pregnancy to come, despite old age. The secret chamber of God’s house the whispers only the secrets of God to the one being sent forth to share the word of God with outward chambers.

The heart of man is suppose to be where ideas are discussed with God and displayed outwardly the message God desires for us to display to the world. If one has ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior of the heart, then God speaks from the throne of the heart though he not always in charge. He speaks what should be to us, in private whispers of truth of His word. The words of God that keeps even our emotion on the outside in check.

Ezekiel seen the details of the sanctuary transported to the temple that was no longer there. Yet the temple of our hearts is what really matter. The temple that houses Jesus and His Word. Has the believer allowed the reflection of God’s discussion to our human heart display outwardly, or is one’s heart only a reflection of our humanity, and not whose child we are.

Dear Heavenly Father, cleanse our heart, and may Christ come in to teach us how to let His light shine into the outer chambers and through the gates of our lives. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(1) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
(2) But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
(3) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Daily Devotions For Thursday: by Christina Farris 3/30/2017

Ezekiel 41:1-26 KJV
(1) Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.
(2) And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.
(3) Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.
(4) So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
(5) After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
(6) And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.
(7) And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.
(8) I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.
(9) The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.
(10) And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
(11) And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
(12) Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
(13) So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;
(14) Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.
(15) And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;
(16) The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;
(17) To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
(18) And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;
(19) So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.
(20) From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
(21) The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other.
(22) The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.
(23) And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
(24) And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.
(25) And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without.
(26) And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.

I have been married for over 27 years and a few more months celebrating my 28 anniversary. I have been thinking about these 27 years of marriage what has been good and bad. What has made the marriage last and hold together despite hardship through good and the bad. Every marriage takes work, and every relationship takes work, but it something that wholes together despite the bad times. If it was not so, there would be no long term relationships in the world. God had a long term relationship with Israel and not Israel but Ezekiel. God’s relationship with Israel had stood the test of time even to this day. It is almost as if what God is showing Ezekiel is the details of the house Israel built Him during Solomon’s Day. There something important to the extra details not present in the first description. It is about the handiwork and the time consume task of the design and details of the temple.

With any relationship there is a surface description and under that description is a more detailed look at the relationship. On the surface a relationship might seem solid well built, but it the details that are important inside the relationship. It is the memories of playing checkers in the middle of lunch when there really was not time, or the stroking of a wood fire and the stacking of wood that tells the story of compassion not seen on the surface of a marriage.

God knows the love Israel had for him at one time. He knew the detail and the work he helped created by His power in His people. He longed to rebuild His people and restore that relationship, but what had occurred was adultery of faith that had to be purged first through exile. Can not cheat in the house without knowing what it like to cheat outside the house or go further then you ever plan. To live in exile in the place of the lover that stole the heart within. The woman is cast out into the darkness of the city of Israel and the house is destroyed. The woman being Israel.

My husband and I have spent most of our waking hours together for 27 years except for hours of work or volunteerism. With that much time together something must hold the relationship together. Close confinement something must work well, like oil machinery or it never will work. God loved his people, but if they did not love back the relationship did not work. Those years of a good working relationship Israel even sung in battle and defeat the enemy without weapons of war. When God’s relationship was good with Israel miracles happened, hope and prosperity was good. Yet God did not do everything for Israel all the time, because of Idolatry and lack of faith. One needs belief and trust in a relationship for both groups to perform their best in a relationship. If God is not seeming to listen are you doing your part in the relationship? God knows what ticks and what works in the relationship. He knows the work and detail performed by you in his relationship to you. The house built was special, a place to concentrate on each other and each others needs. One wants to think of the house of God only a place to worship God but it also a place God restores his relationship to his flock. He heals and mends the heart and it comes with worship and praise with group of His people. Yet it more then worship, but a community of like mind people working together for the work of the Lord, and the community relationship with God within the sanctuary. It is a testimony of how God moved among the people as little timmy in the children’s choir sang the song to loud or ran around the altar. It is the time of prayer and miracles within the walls of the individual sanctuary that testify of God’s presence too. It is the calm decision making of good decisions during a church board meeting even if disagreement occurs.

What most important is the details of God’s design in aiding the labor of the hands and the human heart. 27 years of marriage as taught me about my own relationship with God in a different way, because scripture declares my relationship with Him as His child, but it is the daily walk that tells the story. Even at times of separation from God has not meant that it was truly separated. It was God allowing space so what ever was upsetting me could mend. My relationship with God had been over forty years. Yet it takes over27 years to explain it to me in terms I can understand.

God’s word is precious but it the details of his word we often ignore. The precious word of testimony of his relationship with His people and with His flock in the New Testament. We fail to see that inter relationship God has because this miracle worker looms over the Bible as not only a super hero, but bigger then our own ability to do the impossible in our life. We have a God that is bigger then us and our problems. Bigger then the world and its problems, and yet we constantly trust in our own ability instead of His. when the temple was built the crafters were even were empowered to build and crave the work within the temple. The measurements were so detailed that even the normal builder will tell you it was perfectly designed down to the letter and no making it work did not happen. We need our relationship with God to be no let’s do it, but let us let God do His part in the service and the design in the service to be part of his people. Do not kick God out of church allow Him to lead and not only lead the church but your heart. It take individuals having a relationship with God for the group to be able to learn to allow God to have a part in one’s life.

Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly ask you to be a part of the details of our life in our relationship with you both in our hearts and in our sanctuary. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(19) Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
(20) And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
(21) In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
(22) In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Daily Devotions For Wednesday: by Christina Farris 3/29/2017

Ezekiel 40:1-49 KJV
(1) In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.
(2) In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.
(3) And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
(4) And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
(5) And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
(6) Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.
(7) And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
(8) He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.
(9) Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.
(10) And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.
(11) And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
(12) The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
(13) He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits, door against door.
(14) He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate.
(15) And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.
(16) And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees.
(17) Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.
(18) And the pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement.
(19) Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits eastward and northward.
(20) And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof.
(21) And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
(22) And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them.
(23) And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.
(24) After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.
(25) And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
(26) And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof.
(27) And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.
(28) And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures;
(29) And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
(30) And the arches round about were five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.
(31) And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps.
(32) And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures.
(33) And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
(34) And the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
(35) And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;
(36) The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
(37) And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
(38) And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.
(39) And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.
(40) And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.
(41) Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices.
(42) And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
(43) And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.
(44) And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.
(45) And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.
(46) And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
(47) So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.
(48) And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.
(49) The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

This month was the time of atonement that Ezekiel is taken shown the temple as being still in Israel. Time of Atonement the time of forgiveness of sin in the year of Jubilee. Ezekiel was transported to the temple that did not physically stand anymore. To the temple Ezekiel stood in was in Israel and he was in Babylon. God took him spiritually to see the Temple rebuilt. That Israel restoration drew nigh. The idea of being transported by God is not new, but was it a reality in the physical one does not really know. It thought ot only be a vision from God. The one like the Son of man took him to this place.

The importance of the measurement shows the detail of God, put in the design of the temple a second time. God’s handiwork is one of perfection after all he made you. Yet on a side note God’s design and measurement show the thought of God in his plan. If I build a house I want to know almost where every board will go. One reason so I do not order to much lumber and the second reason, no use having a lopsided house in design. God is that careful in his design of things. He care about the house that was built for Him. He cared about where his ministers would reside within the temple.

If God cares for the building structure of human hands how much more does He care about the measurements and chambers of our heart He lives in when we receive Christ as Lord. God is building a mansion in heaven. He is building a new body for our soul. He is building a mansion for you and me, built and perfectly designed by him. He knows the dimension of every house He lives in on earth. He knows which rooms need cleaning and which need over haul.

Ezekiel had seen the temple of God before it was destroyed by Chaldeans. He knew what it looked like, and God reminded him of the measurements in how it was built. Ezekiel was seeing the future of a forgiven Israel, one that had been atoned for and forgiven. Ezekiel was seeing the temple ready for God’s people.

The vision of heaven door or the vision of Jordan’s shore is only a reminder of heaven door to be some distance off. Though many claim visions even today, the details of vision in scripture is detail of God’s work seen by the human eye. God carrying how wide and narrow each door is and how long each wall and space is.

God gives vision to give hope and not destruction to Israel. The vision of exile was one of destruction the vision of atonement and temple standing as it should was hope of Israel. When a ministers preaches he see that ability for atonement in the hearts of everyone he ministers too. Yet the vision of hope of salvation for all, does not always come to pass or known by the minister. Do you see the chamber of your heart design by God. If Jesus is Lord then the chamber size is just perfect. The dimension of the size of your heart known to God.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the reminder that you created us and the chamber of our heart. Continue the cleansing of our heart, so that our heavenly home is built only by you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
(4) And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
