Matthew 6:31-34 KJV
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
When life throws you a curve ball, remember that curve ball is still catchable. When life throws you a fast ball chance are you will miss, if it is the speed of light. If life throws you a slow ball, chances are you may catch it if you not to quick to respond to the toss and are just as slow as putting your glove out to catch it. All these balls take practice to catch in life. Not one ball is first caught by any child, he or she has to learn to hold his arms out and catch it by pulling his or her arms inward to hug the ball. Sooner or latter a glove is added to the hand to catch a softball, but it still takes practice. In faith there are many baby steps so to speak, some steps are easier for some and harder for others. Yet not all steps are exactly the same, yet they all represent the same type of scenerio and it is faith. Faith begins with seeking God, but it does not end there. There must be a desire to know who God is, or to know his importance is in one’s daily life. Some think of God has being abstract in regards to one’s personal life. A person might believe in God but think of God has out their beyond the stars with no interest in man and that is further from the truth. God wants man to know who he is, that he is a God love and God of supply for the needs of individual. The loaf of toast may of come from the store and bought with cash, but the wheat was made by God.
Our concept of supply must change from God’s provision how? I watched on video on Idaho farmer having to dig holes and filling them with millions of potatoes only to wonder can they be used once burried in this fashion, or is their more to the process of destroying potatoes because they can not be bought and processed fast enough because of a pandemic, not because they did not grow? Supply provided, but to much waste the film was saying because they had no where to haul the potatoes. I got to thinking sounds like waste. When God supplied Manna, the people were told to only take what they needed. The other day in the store, it looked as if it was the beginning of the pandemic again, and then i remember that where people are ordering groceries stocking shelves are less and less in the main part of the store. Anyway back to my point Manna was given and supplied by God, but God told them never take a double portion except on the Sabbath day of rest, otherwise it would spoil. Now the potatoes were not going to waste they were to feed I think the hogs or some other animal next spring and there still plenty of potatoes to be had even in months ahead they say. Needless to say I bought a small pound of potatoes because simply i seen no canned potatoes on the shelf at walmart to make soup and roast with potatoes. With manna the storage may not of been available at that time, storage for food is not with out in our nation, only the ability to produce by factories because of the pandemic. In other words the change stock has changed drastically, resturaunts they implied was not using as many potatoes as in years past, because of the pandemic. Which was also causing issues in ability to store potatoes for fries and other things that potatoes are made of. Then I thought what about the time of famine in scripture where God provided Pharoah and Tribe of Isaac. The time of Elijah when the raven feed him and then he went on to the widow woman who would also supply his food. Did Pharoah seek God perhaps in his own way. Did the widow woman trust in God. We know Elijah trust in God but even had his day of running and fasting.
When God tells us to seek Him first is that enough, or do we go and say how can i make do without seeking God first? Truth is we need to seek God first and his righteousness. His means of faith in our life, his way of provision, his way of life. Yet it is not without work, it is not without growing food, or raising animals, it is with provision from above that enables us all to eat, with or without faith. I do not doubt there people that go to soup kitchens that given up on God. I do not doubt there people on the street that see not God in the food provided. Yet man can not go without the knowledge that God created him and the food source that is provided. God made the food source first then man. Even the tree in the garden that was not suppose to eat had fruit on it. That one tree for decoration, and not for man to eat. Yet man sinned by eating of that fruit, not seeking God but picking that food his own way.
That is the error in our world when we do things backwards to what is of God and what is not of God. We seek God first for faith, or do we cry to God when the supply is needed only. Do we grumble when supply is not meet, or do we seek God anyway. The first time you talk to God was it for supply only or because you desire to know Him. Let us change our thought for a moment what if we only sought God because we knew the supply from God would be granted. That hard if you facing a day without bread, or a day with out supplies for the next day. It easy if you rich perhaps and can buy anything until the grocery shelves are empty. Common sense may say, what are you going to do. Worship God or pick up that hammer first. Are you going to obey God and type or are you going to meet the desire of the heart for a paying job during a pandemic. Everyone got to eat, and everyone got to work if they can. How much time can you take seeking God, five minutes, ten, twenty, thirty, when you driving down the road to work or the store listening to audio tape of scripture. How much time, do you seek God.
Sometimes God seeks us through dreams, through visions, through prophesy, through communication of another, through his word in scripture. That communication of faith. Speaking of what is to be. God knows are needs, so do not worry about these things, But look toward faith in God and watch what going on our world. In our land, and around the world how God is moving to shelter, to protect and guide our leaders, our ministers, our teachers and more. Do not be afraid to catch the ball of faith if God comes seeking you and if you are seeking him be prepared to catch God’s ball of faith. The ball of faith is as a child catching ball, we have to hug the ball to hold it, we can not let go until we learn to talk back to God. God is interested in you, your family and those around you. God is a personal God, so seek him first, and trust in God’s supply even when it difficult. It not easy to have faith. God will share his business with you and what is going on, if you will trust Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, help us to seek you and to watch how you communicate with us and with our leaders the things you desire for us to understand. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

John 15:15-16 KJV
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
