1 To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

This is not the list we did this year through the devotions. I had on the home page to sit down and write 25 things one is thankful for and I just completed my list. And I get to day 25 and I am thankful For "Bills" this morning. Despite the fact that paying bills can stress a person out, it can also mean an achievement to get them even paid with food on the table. I think of how many people are without food and fresh clothing daily. Not alone a simple bath, or a place to just relax without being asked to move on. I think of how blessed one is based on needs being meet and not always wants being granted. How precious little gifts of life from a new born baby, to a life passing on to a better future. Last month I watched a monkey being born a rare footage of life in the wild. However the monkey as it was being born instead of dropping to the ground, because the mother was perched in tree, the baby immediately grabbed hold of his mom and crawled up his mother's stomach as it was being born. There people that would like to say that we are descendant from monkeys and apes. People we are God's creation. Man needs to realize when a human is born, it needs, not only cleaning up, but food, milk and diapers. They all seem to need to learn to crawl and climb with a lot of help from mom or dad. They are not like animals at birth, that seem to be walking almost immediately from horses to cows. Kittens even know how to seek for milk and so do puppies. Human Babies only cry and wait on the parent to respond. Out of all God's creation God chose man to take care of his creation. In the process of being cared for as infants perhaps we learn that nuturing instinct that is in most of us. Despite disagreements of culture, and beliefs, we all have one thing in common and that ability to nuture life, whether as parents, or other family member. Yet despite good people there also bad people that only know the ways of abuse.

There is point this morning, I woke up thanking God for bills. I have days I want a new beginning in our world, but I realize miracles can happen, but sometimes they are not in God's plan or timing. Bills are often looked at as money that is being wasted on something unnecessary instead of something of value or wanted for convience in daily living. It like that gift one gives oneself that given all year round, such as basic utilities. Let us not forget the grocery bill and the gas for vehicles or a ticket for a bus. All sometimes seems like a waste of money until one does without.

Those that believe in God can not imagine a day without God beyond the story about the eternal lake of fire. That final destruction place of evil and all the false prophets. Some might not even see the importance of God in our daily life, but looking at God creation one can see the importance of God in one's life. God put his world in motion for us to care for, yet do we thank Him for the basics of life ever flowing in our world that atheist like to deny. Yet how can one miss the evidence of God in all his handiwork. I tell you how, go to a city, with walls are towers of man made buildings. Instead of children seeing beauty of God creation they see the power of man creative talents. They miss the power of God and his creation in this world. Man no longer sees God's salvation as a gift, only that man's ways will lead to destruction. A building falls for another one to go up within weeks of it being demolished. Instead of children seeing the creativity that God gives man as a gift from God they see power and money.

No matter how many things we are thankful for, do we understand where it all comes from, or at the minimum where the knowledge to build, to create and to design comes from. Linkin logs are on high demand this year according to the news, however Linkin Logs do not show the process of how logs are made only how to build with them. If you knew the length of time it took to remove bark, and notch wood, one would easily understand why it took Noah 100 years to build the ark. If we think we know it all, we can only be reminded God created the world in six days. How long did God think upon these things before designing in his head and then creating. God's thoughts are not like man's thoughts, so we have no clue whether God ponder it for a time before shaping all the elements of the world and the animals upon it. There things we will perhaps never know about God, but there things we can understand about God, that he loves the work of hands, just like we do. That he loves you and I, though we sometimes do not love God back. Point being when you thank God for who He is in your life, do not forget the things he not only provides, but the things that are often thought of as man's supply that is really God's supply. God enable science in the treatment of water, and so forth.

Today is Thanksgiving the Pilgrims came to America, landed in Jamestown, only to starve the first year. When fall came, they celebrated with new friends they called Indians in the New world they lived in. These friends taught them to plant corn, and other crops. That first thanksgiving was filled with the fruit of their labor and was consider to be a day to rejoice and be thankful to God for his provision. Are you thankful for God's provision and his ability to give man talents to produce those provisions? Thank God today in your heart, your soul and for the many blessings granted for our survival. The Pandemic could of destroyed the whole world, God provided science with answers of how to stop, and control Cov-19. Be thankful for what God is doing in the life of humanity.

Dear Heavenly Father, give us that hope of thanksgiving in our hearts this year. Those who lost love ones comfort their hearts, soul and mind. Give them peace only you can bring to each one. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Everyone has those year that thanksgiving is especially hard or easy. Yet this day is a day of celebration and we all have much to be gratiful and thankful for to God. Let us be forcus on God and to be thankful to him for his many blessings. God's bless Managment Christina Farris.
