Romans 8:1-11 KJV
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

When were as a people no longer condemn to death? The answer is only in the garden. God made himself and devil equal in regards to enmity. Yet what man fails to realize is the first division between God and man came with disobedience to God, the second division came between the serpent and man, when God cursed the serpent in the garden and promised him that serpent would bite the heels of man, only to be crushed by man's foot. Christ Jesus came to remove the enmity between the believer and God, to do the work the sacrifice could not. Those who are in Christ are now called to walk by the spirit while in the flesh with no condemnation. Flesh meaning while living in the previous sentence and in the next sentence flesh meaning flesh without sin. Flesh often is in reference to sin in humanity. However Adam and Eve outside the garden was in the flesh with a choice to who to follow, both God and the devil were enmity with Adam and Eve. Eve had not sinned again nor was it recorded that she did. Sin whether she ever went against God again.

Our humanity seldom discussed, but if we remember the story of the prodigal son he ran to and fro with all his desires until he landed up in a pig sty eating the food of the pig.Then he remembered that his Father's servants were cared for and this man who own the pig sty cared nothing for his well being, he was eating pig slop. If you ask yourself in the story of the prodigal son which servant would you want as your master/boss the one that showed even his servants compassion or only the pigs.

Let me tell you about humanity and reality of life. It does matters how good you are to someone else. Whether it is like the Father is to his son when he returns home. It does matter how you continue to treat the person in the days to follow or are you as angry as the brother was with his own brother's return? Something I found out about God and his sovernity is his willingness to forgive our humanity, our sinful flesh, more then the world. If our heart is one of true piety and repentance God knows. He knows there time the clump of clay he fashioning is not always easy to shape, to straighten or to flattened. Sometimes God takes that rolling pin, or other tools and remove and repairs our heart, mind and soul. Because the spiritual backsliding can destroy a person if not rooted in the word. There is two ways to be rooted in the word and those two ways is one must first receive Christ, and the second the Holy Spirit who teaches you two ways, by his word, and by scripture. If you are going to live by the Spirit you have to say no matter what others around you say I am going to obey the Lord. See there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Believe in Christ and they believe in his word. Yet we are told we need to walk by the Spirit to not fullfill our fleshly desires. We are no longer bound by sinful flesh. We are no longer condemn. The blood of Christ covers us. No one lives perfectly, but we all strive to live according to the Spirit. The Spirit of God that you received that lives in you, without God you can not please him. Without Christ without his Spirit you living in a place outside paradise outside of the House of God Spirit.

We begin to sin, one because we are not in the word of God nor trusting God to keep our foot from slipping and following him, though we believe in Him and His Word. Many people believe, but fail in obedience to his word and sometimes Spirit. If God tells you like he told Peter you will deny him, you better ask how come, it is because Peter could not accept the words of Christ at the supper table. He would not remember until the cock crow three times. Then Peter went out and wept, but Judas died when he found no forgiveness, because he knew not how to seek forgiveness.

How does our failure please God, because God knows our ability to be weak because of our flesh is not where it needs to be in Christ. We have to learn to rely on God's strength, God word and God's Spirit to hold us anchored to the truth of His Spirit and His Word, to be anchored to our salvation that rock is Jesus. Are you backslidden, and know your not in full obedience to God, just return as the prodigal son did. He got a clean robe and feast for you waiting for you to enjoy. His word is still with us and His Spirit not gone, and Christ in his spiritual body, physical form is coming again soon. Don't reject him today. It hard to go forward. The minute you do you will find God's grace and maybe not people grace. Which grace is more important to you, God's marvelous grace, or mankind rejection of God's grace. See the world is the master of the pig sty and not the Father of the wayward his grace. If the world feeds you, then they want something in return usually. The prodigal son's Father was one that missed the fellowship with his son. Missed him being home. His joy at his return shocked and anger is other son, because he had not rejected his father and did not get even a calf to celebrate with his friends. The Prodigal Son went out had wild parties, spent his inheritance and spent it all with his friends. Yet his father knowing all this and still loved him. That is God's love for his children when they fall. The person still a believer. Peter was still a follower of Christ when he denied him, Judas was only a physical follower of Christ not a spiritual follower of Christ.

There groups out there that will claim Christ, and do good works, but they obey not the Spirit of God, but use their eyes and they do not rely on God to show them what someone really needs. People can assume because someone has not been to the store that they do not have groceries, but it does not mean they do not have groceries. It only means they did not go to the store. In other words someone brings a box to someone's house who has groceries they might not have room for anymore groceries. Someone needing groceries will be overjoyed. How can you know. You need to put blinder of what you know and ask God. It is the same way with God's word. You can shove down people throats the word of God to the point they do not want to hear anymore, never considering someone else is dining on it. When we walk by the Spirit we must accept God's Spirit know the direction we are to go.

I was thinking the other day, when I can not see much anymore, I going to have to rely solely on the drive to get me where I going. That bothers me. I told my husband I have to start counting curves and turns to know if I am going in the right direction. With God we do not even need to count the curves to know he taking us in the direction towards home, yet the road maybe still a long and winding. Yet our faith has to be with blinder sometimes, especially walking through a mind field with only small evidence of a trip wire, to avoid. It takes someone like Jesus with x-ray vision to know where all the boobie traps are, to avoid them. If we walk by God's Spirit, we have less injury to our being, but not without necessarily harm. After all Job was righteous and yet until he restore, he is sitting scraping sores. We have to ask what purpose is God using these things in our life?

I will always feel God allowed me freedom for a time to know how special his relationship is to me. Sometimes we have to run back two or more times to get that point in our heads. Yet faith is a growing process. Salvation is instant, and sanctification takes a life time to be ready for heaven to see God and his home. The doorway narrow is open wide to the believer and that pearly gate is shut to the unbeliever who refused God and His Son.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to grow in faith, to grow knowing your love for us is greater then we imagine. That our enmity with you is disolved by Christ and there is no longer any condemnation to those that believe in Christ Jesus. Help us to wear the blinders to enable us to trust your Spirit and your word to lead others to you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
