Redeem's Love For God

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Psalm 116:1-10 KJV
1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

The story goes on and on as if we are playing a song or a dance that has no real end. It goes in circles and we meet once more with the story of God's love for man and man's love for God. If you been rescued by God you have a love for him, because he is your hero. Yet it more then a love for God, it is acknowledgement that God cares for his people and hears their cry when he response with deliverance.

This thanksgiving season we think of all the blessings we have around us we can physically see, but what about those blessing, we can neither see, touch, or show another what it like to have a communication with God alone. To claim to speak to God for a Christian is nothing new. To say one prayers and we know God answers is nothing new. Yet to claim to have a relationship with God as if he is a friend to the world sounds like a strange thing. Yet scripture speaks of God has being a friend, a Father, a Savior, a rescuer in times of trouble and so forth. To say I love you Lord and lift my voice is not oddity, it is a song of praise and a title of a simple song of praise. There more believers out there that pray and speak to God waiting on his response and his wisdom on what is declared or will be. Waiting for signs and things from above not always knowing God answer until it is revealed and sometimes knowing before it comes to pass.

The uniqueness of the Christian faith to understand God's love for man, first through the salvation plan built on Jesus/word of God/in the flesh. Showing us first his redeeming power in many ways through the story of the ark, the rescue of Lot(Abraham's Nephew), David standing before Goliathe with only a sling shot. Man having a part in his rescue, but not without God redemption. God raised up Jesus up out of tomb and did not leave him in hell. Christ walked in the land of living. Now Psalms 116 is not a Psalm of David but he may of written it. This Psalms is written before the time of Christ. The author understanding what salvation of God was all about. Whether he was in trouble and in danger and need help from the Lord and in need of salvation. Understood by the Spirit to walk in the ways of God before the living.

Trump salvation was election issues found in two states but it did not make him a winner, but a winner of proof he sought. Now something can be down to strengthen the freedom to vote in our land. It been to trial by three presidents, and now it clear something needs to be done to protect voters rights and privacy.

Now let move on this relationship with God is one to understand the love of God despite the time period one lives in. We are after Christ resurrection and not before or during the time period of Christ. Yet God's love did not stop at the Christ's resurrection but continued through the sending of the Holy Spirit, someone not seeable by man, but the knowledge of his Spirit is for the believers for He is to comfort God's people and intercede in their behalf. For the unbeliever the pricking of the heart by the Holy Spirit to convict a man in the need of salvation and need of God in one's life. The knocking on the door of the heart by Jesus comes by the Holy Spirit.

God is still a God that listens and hears his people and hears us by His Spirit that abides within our hearts to know our need and our need of deliverance in times of crisis in our life. That feeling of whew what a relief comes to mind. That feeling of wow, i know this had to be God and his response to prayer, because there was no other solution before us. God speaks to the heart of his deliverance for us as believers, as well as as with his response proves he listens to our needs. Yes there things that will come to be without prayer sometimes, but there something that can not be reproduced by man, for instance the ark being built and God sealing the door shut to only open it once more for his rescue of eight people that believed in him. Lions mouth being shut after Daniel was lowered into their den, past the night in the safety of that den, to only be raised up and those that persecuted him thrown in the den only to be devoured by those same lions. God's intervention.

Dear Heavenly Father, we love you and express our gratitude by communicating that you speak to our hearts and deliver us with your response not only words but action. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Thanksgiving Day Countdown Day 12: With gratitude for God's friendship in our life and answers to pray. That he is a God that speaks to the soul and demonstrates his love for us.

Continual Scripture Study: John 16:13-14 KJV
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Romans 4:20-25 KJV
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
