When reading scripture context we must be careful not to over think some things. Wisdom has built her temple. Solomon would build the temple, he is consider a wise man, but the knowledge of how to build the temple of the Lord came from God, who spoke the wisdom to build the temple. Wisdom being femine in the since part of God that is also sometimes separted to give birth into creating. God's word gave birth not just in the flesh as Jesus the Son of God, but also gave birth into becoming light and separting light from dark from the very beginning of creation. If we can understand the femine description of God building then we discover why the design of God's creation is elegant and very clear of description from lacy wings on insects, to colors arraying in all nature. Its as if God took wisdom to sprinkle all the beauty and elegance into God's creation, but in this case Solomon Temple and the porch design. The temple porch built by the designs by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today is Mother's Day, but for me it not an ordinary Mother's Day, I lost my mother in law of thirty-two years. Her love of her grand babies and the love of her family, she worked for her family til the end of her life. Nothing for her to call to the children as they played, or interacted with them inside and outside the house. In summer she watch them play from the porch. Talking and telling stories of long ago as well. Imagine the teachers of the Temple standing on the porch to beckon Israel in to hear about the Lord. The seven columns being cut down and made to put upon the porch.

Wisdom being about knowing God and knowing who he is and his creation, but the begining of it is to be in fear/reverence of God. Giving glory to God and not man. Those at the temple fear not God. Now we got to ask why is the those in the temple foolish that call to the people. If we remember Solomon is a man of sin, not following in the ways of wisdom always. Yet he still obeys God as far as building of the temple perhaps out of fear. Those that grow up in church may have very little fear of the image of a loving God with outstretch arms that beckon to them. The reverence of God perhaps not so much fear but desiring to love God back, not fearing God because they know God created the heavens and the earth. They never exerience perhaps the true wrath of God, but it does exist. To know sin and know God's correction is to know God's wrath. What government leaders know about God's wrath will shake one to the core. Yet for believers that have no time to look at the world around them beyond the lovely words of the preacher, the words of judgment is not so clear until one experience hardship. Then hardship for a believer is walking on water of faith in Christ Jesus. The corruption Solomon understand about sin is not only wisdom from God but he feeling it in his own life with his adultery living and his many wives. Maybe his heart is pricked as his wives offer their children on the altar on the mountain of sacrifice. Maybe Solomon heart is pricked at each death. The idolatry life style of Solomon is causing him pain and maybe a feeling of knowing the power of God could and will consume him without repentance. Yet this temple build for God of all creation is almost as if Solomon is saying those of the temple understand not what Solomon is feeling. Religion is seeing all of Solomon sin nature in the palace. Encourage the people not to live in idolatry of their God. Religion for Solomon is now condemnation but also he has a wide view of faith and faiths not of God. He looks at these things from a worldly king.

We can not deny that fact that Solomon built his wife a house that was separate from the Palace of sin. Her house being equally sinful. One can not explain to a sinner the path of faith in regards of why sin is sin, because they think one just never had those pleasures in life. Solomon in his finite mine begins to separate things into house and go to those house when the need of whatever is arising in his heart. Solomon had a fear of God but not necessarly a revence for God in the since of worship. Fear of God or a dread of God is far different then the believer reverence or fear of God. Believers of wisdom of God may seem foolish to the heathens and even those that are scared of God like the Philistines(a month or so back in another devotion) in the temple of Dagon and in the land of the Philistines.

Most understand the fear and reverence of God as a believer. Yet as a believer the idea of judgment is far removed because we see ourselves begining caught up to the heavens with Jesus on the day of his return. A day of judgment of his return for all non believers. This wait that Christians do seem foolish to the world, but what going to be foolish is to be in fear of God but with no reverence or respect for God to repent and turn away from sin to obedience of following after God.

Now many kids are in fear of their mothers, but their difference in the fear of mom when one is in trouble then when one understands if one tells mom the truth that sometimes her wrath is not as bad as not telling her. Difference in a fear of mom because of abuse and fear of mother because of correction and consequences of poor decisions of youth. Good mother's beckon to their children and teach and love their children. Yet the wisdom of God is who seems foolish to Solomon despite it points the way of life. Solomon himself is teaching the wisdom of idolatry to the children of Israel and surround territories by listening to his desires of his flesh, and entertaining people from around the known world, showing them living of wealth and not just the beauty of the wisdom of God alone. Solomon headed for the gates of hell if he repents not and taking people with him.

Who can build the house of God but God's Wisdom, the word of God that would become flesh in the form of Jesus. That whosoever believeth in him would not perish but have eternal life. Simple to the point, but are we believing in the building the church on the principal of the Holy Spirit? How are you built on the word of God, the emotion, or the desire and sensations of our world? Solomon meet both sensationalism of sin and the wisdom of God.

Dear Heavenly Father the revence for your wisdom to follow your word in truth because it is truth and love, is the golden rule of life in regards to faith and obedience. What one regards of faith may seem trivial it is not, but to fear God is far greater in form of reverence by being on your team, then being on the team of devil who is shaking in his boots as I type. 14 He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
15 For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
