I talked on law so much in the past, that to speak of it again seems fruitless, until one looks at yesterdays lesson and ask the same question again in regards to Ruth did her going with Naomi have anything to do with human decency or with faith. God is no respector of persons, meaning it matters not who you are in the since of how righteous or unrighteous you are. It not about laws or rules when it comes to God. God did command Adam to not eat of the tree in the garden, but despite his failure to obey, it did not mean God did not speak to him or Eve ever again. You can be a person of faith with no faith in regards to works. Faith has no meaning if one does not obey the laws of God. Yet what happens if you obey the laws of faith without faith in God, are you choosing the humane thing of caring for another?

If we are judged by our works what would our resume look like compared to another. If we do have a day of reckoning based on works what does our profile look like. Does our work profile have to do with salvation. Perhaps in heaven it is the work resume for even in heaven Adam worked and did animal husbandry. It started with naming the animals. God placed Adam in the garden to tend his garden. What job title will you hold based on your experience. Some of us are going to be way out of luck as far as a trade. I not sure what God's judgment of works will be in our life, but it will not cast us into the fiery pit called hell. God will judge the works of man by Christ Jesus. According to God's word are you a person that teach's one thing and do another? Each person will be judged by their own hyprocrisy. Are we committing adultery to faith in God,

One is not a Jew that is only outward neither is a person that chooses to be circumcized a Jew. But a jew is a person which is inwardly and circumcized by the heart and spirit and is not praised by men but of God. God is pleased your heart is faithful to him. It is important part of faith. Ruth said to Naomi in chapter one of Ruth that her God would be her God. She was willing to give up all of her old life and not only follow Naomi but to follow God. Naomi becoming a type of Christ to Ruth, and yet Ruth would be her helper and salvation too.

We must began with faith to even have equal footing with other believers. Yet we all will be judged by Christ Jesus. If we are just by God's word of faith in Christ Jesus, then we are dead already without faith. God judging by whether we are saved(through belief in Jesus) first. Jesus said eveyone must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. That is the first judgment of faith. Do we believe in God. If God so loved the world according to John 3:16 that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting(eternal life) depending on translation you have. Believeth in who God's Son, God, or both. First we must believe in God in order to believe God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world. Then he says to believe in Jesus. We know from John 1:1-14 that Jesus is the word that became flesh. Word alone being important but what the word became even more important, because it no longer just a word but a tangible being(called Jesus). Jesus being first the word, second person and third word once more in regards to what we believe and obey. Ruth had an example of faith before her, in her mother in law, and yet also a director to God for she was not God of her salvation. Customs not faith would help Ruth gain a husband. Her husband by culture and not faithfulness to God. Though faith in God of Naomi was a plus what was Naomi God. For she did not tell Ruth to follow the ways of God but the ways of culture to gain a husband.

Was culture of Ruth day defined by the law of Moses at all, where had the law of faith gone in regards to sleeping or lying with a man, even at the man's feet. How much is culture today against God's law as it was in Ruth day. Are we in obedience to God, most of us are to a degree, by caring and loving others, but if we really examine our culture just on the ten commandments alone would we still be in obedience to God? Some of us would say, definitely others would say I have faith but obey cultural rules and guidelines.

Where is the line drawn. How do we ourselves know if we truly are obeying God or society. Would society change if we only looked to scripture. What if we inflicted our ways on the world based on faith alone. Even the devil might get in, no the devil kicked out, and he even believes in God our works and obedience has value, does it save, no because our works without faith have no value too. We need to live the life of faith of submission to the will of God in our life. It is hard to juggle our actions, our life style and our faith, to be intuned with God. Many say what I do is not so bad, only to read scripture a moment later that says otherwise.

Can we keep are whole being in check with the ways of God. It sounds simple, but been gluttonous for a day and ask that question again. Be slothful one day and ask that question again. God after your own desires before the need of love one and ask that quesion again. Look lustfully someone other then your significant other and ask that question again. We all fall and come short of the glory of God. If we steal, murder, and so forth are we doing God's will. Mr and Mrs prefect ask have you sinned, and you say no, then your already sinned. No one perfect but God.

Where are we and are we not all people of what works best for me at the time is how we live, only to find that way is no better. Noah got drunk after the ark, did he ever drink before, I suspect he had tended a garden before and knew how to fermant grapes. Yet Noah was the only just man God could find on the earth at the time and saved him by creating a man not only of faith but obedience. Noah maybe not a drunker before the ark, but one of sin, and justified by faith. Our faith allows Christ to cover our sin through the work he did on the cross by paying the price for our sin. Without receiving Christ as Lord our faith has no value, we are no better then Satan, who believed in God but never received God's salvation plan and sins continually.
