Romans 1:17-32 KJV 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

If you ever study ancient religious culture, one might find the worship of creatures as well idols. What Romans 1 talking about is the original sin of man, turning away from God, and the results of turning away from God. The result of sin is the grossness of even more sin, going way beyond the worship idols but changings the things of God design into one's own lust and desires. It starts with the obedience to one's own plan and not God. If God gives free choice to man why is wrong to choice one's own desires over God's direction. God's word is incorruptible, his plans are incorruptible and in destructable. Our plans, desires and goals will one day be destroyed. For example a child playing with his toys, designs a perfect castle, or house made of his toys only to have mom or dad tell him to clean his room. Child cleaning his room must destroy his creation, his design to make it into design of his parents. Sounds silly, not really for at bedtime, if room is not clean things are tripped over in the dark. It shouldn't matter right, but many a broken bones or good bruise start by tripping over something in the middle of the floor, Yet when it is light once more the child will go back to his creativity, maybe even designing something even better. God destroys our sin, only for man to once again go out and recreate more sin. It is a spiraling effect of destruction. Anything not good is evil. Evil like a horror flick is often seen by those that love them, as only a fancy, not real, until you hear of some psycho on the news that leaves a path of death and heartbreak.Evil conjured up to make people frighten only enhances the thrill for some people, especially when it fake. It when it is real, that one stops to think of the evil not being part of God's plan. Blaming God for what is rightful the responsibility of the warped minds of our world. Though some people would like to say they like to know how they create and do some of the stunts of the movie industry, there always a better way of doing so. Cleaner or good design of the stunts, use to demonstrate positivity of society and not evil. Without evil plot seldom is good enhanced. Now that I got you thinking or hating me right now because of your own personal view of horror flick, one still needs to rationalize reality and the evil and turning away from God's leadership. Most of would agree to have anyone person sovereign over oneslife in the world around us, whether it be religion or one room school house, would mean we have to obey perhaps a pschotic leader or perhaps one that is truly sensitive to the ways of God. Hopefully the latter. But let say the one on the throne so to speak is not in his right head, his control and power is to bring down, destroy or purposely be little a person. God's purpose of power is not to do the negative things of control. In fact God's power and control is more for our own protection. For example how can an idol talk back to you if you bow to it. God desires to be your friend, your companion in the storms when no one else is around or even in a crowd. Someone that actually will speak to your heart. The devil will speak to you as well, but his desire is to destroy you and bring you to a place of your own destruction because of his will. God desires to give his children good gifts. Desires for our creation not to be eternal, but constructive to our life here. Noah was called to build an ark. A ship of protection, so God could take care of the evil in the world. 100 years Noah preach of this destruction before it happened. I wonder if he felt sane doing so, but when it happened, He knew God's protection over his family. Knew the plans and design of the ark were perfect, and leak proof. God's design whether for the storm or for those happy golden years, is designed for you in mind. Not to destory but to enable you peace no matter the circumstance of this world around you. Better to be in the ark, then where the flood waters can get you. Going in opposition of God puts one in the wrong location of the storm. The worship of idols, the immorality of the grossness of sin puts you in the flood, not in the ark. Opposition to God's plan is in opposition to the safety. Immorality of the world is in oppostion to God's design. Destruction of Jews rule was seen by first attack in the home of the palace, Evil lurked in the life style of the kings. Yet some were consider godly kings despite sin. They obeyed God in their rule, but there personal life. We have leaders in our world like that today. Life has not change in this regard. Let us strive to follow God's design and path for our life and not the evil desires of our heart. Let God's light shine in our hearts, and his designs be for his glory for eternity.
