Hebrews 3:1-12 KJV 1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. 3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. 4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

The authority of Christ can not be question in the same way we would question a man's authority. God first gave his only begotten Son. There is only one true heir to the throne of God, and his name is Jesus, who is also the high priest. We live in a strange time when people come from so many backgrounds that one can no longer say this job was handed down to me from my father or mother. In fact the mom and pop business of yesteryear are almost gone. The business that hopefully kids will run after mom and pop are gone. Oh the mom and pop business still exist, but it far from the norm. There is big business that rises and are handed down as will as small town business, but it now who can head in this world. Who can build their own business and see how big it can grow. How many likes can big business get. God is not handing down the job of High Priest but sharing it with His Son. If Christ be first the word of God according to John 1, then we must accept the part of God his word has equal authority. Let us remember to separate the word from the actual Being of God is it even possible. If God is Spirit and goes forth with His Word, then we must recognize the Holy Spirit role in going forth carrying the word of God. To see the Word as human, means something had to happen. God's word has gone forth from generation to generation. Yet this time it came forth in the form of man to testify who God and the Holy Spirit is. High Priest job from the begining was to testify about God. There is no greater High Priest then Jesus. The Highest Priest of the Jewish people remained in power even after the resurrection. Something is happening here is there a division of power and control in faith. Timothy is thought to be the author of Hebrews. How many times had he seen Paul debate the Jews and the governmental leaders. How many times had he thought about the power of Jesus in ministry and declared Jesus as High Priest of HIs soul. For Timothy was born of both a greek and Jew/Christian. The hypocrisy in faith comes with the idea of sacrifice of human being. One has to ask is sacrifice necessary. Only to show our sin, and then to bury it with His death, for the resurrection came not because of man's sin, but God's desire to redeem and mend the gap with mankind. Christ resurrection coming without the power of man but the power of God. The High Priest had a calling from God. Jews that were Christians had a problem, of having a human high priest of faith in the order of Aaron and also High Priest with faith in the order of Melchidek. The priest at the time of Abraham, before the time of Moses. A need for a spiritual leader arises out of a need for spiritual truth and healing. A leader with compassion for the people and not for greed. The change comes with faith in Christ. A universal High Priest that is approved by God. People follow the latest guru without question. The latest leaders of our world without question. Is this a bad thing. People tend to pick out leaders that appear to be doing something right or is about making positive change. Jesus actually made positive change because healing took place as well as signs and wonders. Jesus is declared greater then Moses. Moses dealt with people who witness miracles and yet did not believe. It is easy to see Jesus as only a prophet or a good teacher. A man called by living God to perform miracles. The problem comes when one fails to examine what made him equal to God. Was it Christ power to have eternal life? Was it his power to raise himself up from the grave. Moses could not change his sin, nor his inability to enter the promise land. Jesus was able to go on to Heaven in a physical way, being taken up in the clouds toward Heaven. There one more thing that gives him equality, he was sent from Heaven above in a form of humankind, as a babe. Coming in the form of man to reach out and draw the people to Him once more. Jesus was from above sent down from above to testify to us. The way Christ returns to us, is in the form of both power of the Holy Spirit and the power of the immorality of the heavenly body. He come by Spirit already, He will come by immorality in godly attire with army of believers behind him. We will never see God beyond the illuminating light that shines throughout the earth even now but also in heaven. Did not God walk with Adam and Eve. Did not God walk as Christ? God was never born as Christ is born. God is always is and always will be. He does walk in the image of man, for he Moses seen his backside going. No doubt the war we see between Israel and Christianity is over who is in charge of the Priesthood. Which priesthood to follow, and who is greater Moses or Christ. There been false priesthood erected in the name of God and is not of God. Yet we can forget the priesthood at the time of Gideon set up. Two priesthoods of Jewish faith, Both corrupted by adulterated worship of idols. Yet Christ ministered to both groups of believers.one slowly between the second only to have one purified group of men and women through Christ Jesus. Christ ministry was to all people even the gentiles. Make him Lord day because He is the Highest Priest of all the world.
