Luke 15:8-10 KJV 8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Every been short of cash and started counting your change. That one roll of pennies short one penny, that when the hunt around the house begins. Everyone know occassionally that loose change lands up either in the couch cushion or empty decorative cup or glass. No it does not belong there but well, it was emergency and you were afraid you might loose it. Well guess what, it now been desired to finish off the roll of pennies. In truth that roll of pennies look like one missing would not matter much but the value of the pennies with the one missing is less then it should be. It has no value until putting it with all forty-nine other pennies No it was worth a cent but value increase when it became part of a group. With friends it worth a half dollar. What are worth to God without the Savior, without believing. God searches for us and His send's His Spirit to us. He knows where we are, but our worth is less until we receive Christ. Why is our worth less, because we inherit only upon salvation the gift of God. Only then do we receive the gift of eternity with Him. Only then do we have the hope of eternity because of salvation through His love. We must receive the gift of salvation in order to be of eternal value. The woman searching for the coin seen the worth of the coin and the silver she had, but she had to find the missing piece to gain the value of the pieces of silver. What is the value of the coin alone. It like putting a quarter in the bubble gum machine. It buys one piece but a whole dollar will buy a pack of gum at the dollar tree. With a pack of gum there is enough gum to share with others. The point is you can have a party to yourself with one piece of gum or you can rejoice over finding the missing change and buy a party for a group of friends. There is a reason to rejoice over one more lost to the power of Satan for he gain the victory through faith in Christ Jesus. He coming home one day to the place God has prepared for him. He is one more in the army of God, He is one more not facing eternity in the depth of hell. He is one more that sees the truth of who God is and who His Son is. He is one more to be a part of the victory party. The value of the one lost, is great when found and added to the whole group of believers. The price for us to receive eternity was the death of Christ on Calvary. He did not just die for one man but for everyone that will believer. He paid the eternal ransom for our sin. Dear Heavenly Father, remind us of the value of those lost in the world of sin, and the hope of value that is place on each child born again by the saving grace through your Son. The value of being a child of God and one day bless by the inheritance in heaven that awaits. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
