The Revolutionary Victory

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Matthew 12:15-20 KJV
(15) But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
(16) And charged them that they should not make him known:
(17) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
(18) Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
(19) He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
(20) A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

It is insane how people try and justify something in order to gain power and the ability to rule and yet they rule unfairly. Jesus came to set judgment by dividing the hypocrisy of a nation. To make it clear to set people free from sin ones has to examine their own sin. Islam fights for religious freedom, and yet is abuser to others that desire freedom. Some claiming that not so fail to look at the beheadings and beatings of Christians in Islamic countries.

The abuser of freedom is those who persecute even those in opposition to their way of life just because of life style. Yet should all life styles be embraced. Most people enjoy Valentinesí Day, yet few think of Cupid as being a pagan god. People enjoy the romance of the day even falling in love for a few hours to only break up the day after. People only enjoying the romance of the idea of falling in love. Yet for a Christian to enjoy Valentines Day seems in opposition to their way of life, many enoy Valentinesí Day never giving it a second thought. Until God speaks to their heart about the falling in love just to be in love with someone and not who God choose for you. God wants to set people free of the sin immorality, but people have to want to do it Godís way and not the pagan idols of the world.

Jesus came not to have victory for only one day but to have victory eternally. He came to remance our hearts by his victory over death for eternity. The power of sin caused punishment of sin. The forgiveness of God coming despite what man deserves. Hypocrisy deserves judgment. Yet Godís love for mankind was not enough that man judged God in many circumstances, from a death of a love one to an abuser of a person. God is going to judge us for not standing up to the bullies that judge but are abusers of themselves and others. Jesus judgment came to the man who had three barns full and yet refused to share with anyone what was within the barn and his very soul was required. The lawyer who walked away that asked who his neighbor was. Judgment coming to those who questioned Jesus ethically and spiritually, if nothing more to the heart of man.

Yet the judgment that is to come is one of final destruction. It is judging the world for unbelief in God and His Son. It is final judgment not of conviction but of fact of unbelief. It is the lack of faith in knowing Godís word is true. It is like the smoking reed on a roof is a drying process that still is done today and will continue even if other drying processes are created by man. One to receive Godís word as true must assume the same process of drying still exist today. The judgment of God comes with unbelief that Godís word is true. To deny salvation through Jesus. To deny faith matters. The judgment of God is coming.

As Jesus walked this earth He did bring judgment, and when He returns He brings final judgment to the non believer. Faith is our part to protect us from judgment of unbelief, but salvation comes through Jesus. Victory comes with faith. For Christ arose and defeat the punishment for sin. Elijah and Enoch only two that over came death in their life time before Christ, but no one else arose from the grave till Christ died. What is the difference in other resurrections. It is simple really Jesus was the sacrificial lamb for the world. He was perfect without sin. He was human and His Spirit was God. His mother bore the mark of the virgin who gave birth. The sign of Christ coming was clear during his life time. Prophesy spoken and declared who Jesus was.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for prophesy and judgment of victory through your Son. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
