Men are talked about in scripture as if they are more important then woman but this is so untrue, God spent much time ministering even to woman about things of faith, even sharing them the truth of living in John 4. Women are seen surrounding Jesus and even washing his feet in reverence and honor to him. Mary and Martha question why Jesus did not heal Lazarus because he would not have died, and yet Jesus raised Lazarus back to life, yet, he was not Jesus first resurrection. First resurrecion was a woman. Why should not these things be noted, but they are not, because men sometimes do not value woman the same way God does. He knows this. God choose women to give birth, to be a helpmate to man, but he also chose a woman to carry the Messiah for nine months. The Gospels outline woman with importance. Yet is women important in Old Testament. They spoke out when they felt as if they were unjustly treated, even when the inheritance of the Promiseland was being divided, Four daughters of Manasseh spoke up to claim they had a share in the promise.

It important as a woman to know we have a share in the promiseland, a share of the promiseland in the New Jerusalem. We have a share in God's kingdom. Moses came before God and asked God what about these women that want land. Yes they to would have an inheritance. Men and women, please understand you have an inheritance upon faith in Christ Jesus. You have a home for eternity with Christ, you have a home that is promised to you. A home of hope, that will not fade away as the current earth and heaven will. Our hope and promise is in Christ Jesus. Our home that will come down from heaven, is being built in heaven. It will one day descend for us to live in.

Dear Heavenly Father, remind us of the hope that the inheritance is for all people not just one sex, or one person, it for all believers. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
2 And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.
6 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
