One hears in the church world about meeting Christ in the air, but John in Revelation is shown the descending of the great city,the holy Jerusalem, that is descending out of heaven from God. Interesting to note John is standing on a great and high mountain when he sees the descending of the New Jerusalem. The angel that showed him had the seven vials full of seven last plagues. the angel said I will show you the Lamb's bride. At this point the seven vials had not been pour out. Where is the bride when the seven last plagues are poured out, they are in the New Jerusalem. Where are those left behind fixing to face the wrath of God as well as the destruction of the old earth and the old heaven. Saints get a new heaven and a new earth. Yet John is looking into the New Jerusalem as it descends.

What is my point in two verses one no longer has to fear of where they are when the seven last plagues come if they believe in Jesus. If you waiting for Christ return it not yet, but he coming. Those big cumulus clouds we often see in the sky will one day come descending down to take the bride from the earth and bring Christ's bride from heaven. How large is the New Jerusalem, one does not know but we know Mount Ararate is the highest mountain. We know the New Jerusalem is an ark of safety for the bride the church of Christ. I personally do not look for it to look like an ark, but only God knows. Our fear of the storms coming are unrealistic for the believer, and for those not saved it better be sending a fear to them. These storms we are seeing the pandemics we are seeing live by our news stations, papers and internet sites are showing what the worse case scenerio of our imagination is like, and the reality of it.

When I hear children are dying of cov-19 in England and India my heart cringes to know many are not understanding the loss of life in the young. Yet do vaccinating work. I believe it does, My family went and finally got vaccinated and received our second shot over a week ago. We waited has late as we could, until it was offered to us. Do I believe in procaustion, it hte same reasoning why people get drivers licenses, medical licenses, flying licenses, and so forth. If you do not get vaccinated it like walking around with a potential loaded gun without metal. You shooting at your neighbor, your friends and children on the street, all because you feel that you do not need it yourself. Same thing with wearing mask, you don't do it for you, you protecting others from you. You may think you healthy, but every guy that tells a girl he must be shooting blanks gets a girl pregnant. You cough, you sneeze you may be making others sick.

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior we do not do so to exclude anyone from receiving Christ. We do so first to solve our own eternal situation, so we can help someone else with their eternal situation, because of our own testimony. Even those that are lost sometimes helps another find Christ not out of their desire to learn about Jesus, but out of ignorance of their need of Christ. Your need of a mask is for you, but it is also for another. If you see the New Jerusalem in reality descend can you jump aboard, I seriously doubt it, unless you are saved. John was watching it descend from a mountain top. Was it close enough to step aboard. We do not know, but we know John was allowed to see it. If you do not have a golden ticket despite you seen the celestrial city coming down, you not going to climb aboard it, and the ground you thought you walked on was solid is nothing but sinking sand, made for destruction.

Don't think the disciples did not want to ascend when they seen Jesus go up into heaven. However Christ purpose in leaving them behind was to be a witness of all they seen and to testify by the power of the Holy Spirit, to enable others to testify too. The Apostles of Christ will descend with him. They had to not only hear him speak after the cross they had to see him ascend to know the hope he promise was real. Where is your hope with unseeing eyes. It is through the testimony of faith and the testimony of the Holy Spirit to your heart and mind. Can you testify the truth that we live by faith in Christ Jesus is our hope and promise from God to the believer? Can you live by faith by what you know in your heart to be true?

Dear Heavenly Father testify through your Spirit that your word is true, and that our hope is rest assured through faith in what is to come for the believers. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
