Flesh Or Spiritual

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Galatians 6:1-18 KJV
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

There is so many symbols and things across the internet no one can keep up with all that is displayed in this day an age. Yet symbols alone do not define who you are or are not. Nor does circumcision make you a Jew beyond being one outwardly. If we think on it, men were only circumcized by human hand and female were not. Females showed no sign of being of faith beyond their modest appearance. What you have is two people male and female, one showing their faith by cut of skin and other showing only by fashion sense. It makes a hard decision if the circumision is because of human birth and whose family you were born to whether Jew or Gentile or if it was spiritual birth.

The truth be known if all we had to do is wear a emblem or a mark of faith then we all would wear it whether we acted like we were spiritually reborn or not. What is spiritual birth, but the transformation Christ makes when one receive him as Lord and Savior. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit has his child, but truth be told we do not always act like a child of God. However there is inner man and God sees the inner man and knows if he believes in him and desires for him to be Lord or not. We can hide many things from the world, but we can not hide it from God. This life our strive maybe to be a good person, but it does not make it so, but we will where the actions of a good person to our grave despite our faith. Many people do. It the ones that where Satanic markings and still seem to be good people that scare many of us. Either Christ has made a difference in this person's life or they have a very good sheep custume of actions and wear the marks that declare whose child they truly are.

Are we consumed by our flesh in the world as far as how to live, or are we allowing God to transform us by the cross we bear for Christ, by living the best we can by walking by God's Spirit. What kind of child are you one of God or the enemy? What kind of life are you living, the truth or a lie of the inner man. If Jesus is Lord then symbols mean nothing? No if we are child of God we need to watch symbols of the enemy, to not pick up the traditions that are evil and dangerous, but the symbols themselves hurt you not. Yet are you what those symbols mean, if so then are they of your faith? Let us beware some people where shirts with symbols because of a movie that has nothing to do with what really on them. Let us be clear people like things because of a book they read, even if it displays the enemy. Yet let us remember whose child of God we are and ask if I meet Jesus on the street would I want to be seen with this embleming of none faith in him?

The decision to declare your faith must be based on the heart and what Christ means to you, but your actions often speak louder then words. Righteous judgment comes with the knowledge of what you see with the eyes, no it comes only by God's hand marking his children as his by his Spirit, not by our declaration of whose child we are.

Dear Heavenly Father Paul said he wore the marks of the cross, he was stoned, he was beaten and he was scarred for his faith in you. Let us not be afraid of the marks we receive for your Son, but rejoice in the battle scars of faith, that they tell the people where we stand in faith. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Proverbs 20:11 KJV
11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

Proverbs 16:1-33 KJV
1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
11 A just weight and balance are the LORD'S: all the weights of the bag are his work.
12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
14 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
15 In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
30 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
