There Is A Season 10/17/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisEcclesiastes 3:1-22 KJV
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?Perfect thoughts were in the works for this devotion before I open read scripture. When I begin a devotion it often with scriptural planning not scriptural thought on things to come. Meaning things written around scripture found not scripture reflection or idea as today's lesson is. Meaning I sitting on the loveseat reclining and the thought God planted a seed that went like this. God created man for every season but evil. That is easy to find in scripture. Finding scripture passage Ecclesaiates 3 a time for everything. I said I will look at it in the morning no more thought planning. At four this morning commotion of cat work my husband who work me and cant go back to sleep. I began again to think on a season of time for everything but sin/evil, yet there is a season for evil to be judged and destroy because of man's of man's corruption to sin despite salvation for man.
We sit in a world of condemn to death but God design man in the world to have a seaon in his life to be above corruption of sin and evil through salvation of his love. A time of recognizing his perfect will for his life that is above his sin nature by following his heavenly Father will because of his plan of salvatiin man receives from his Father through his son/ obedience to his word.
I went on thinking God's season of sorrow dried to happiness, to war and peace, to birth to death must exist without human corruption but not without God design of evil of war, sorrow, death and so forth to show God's blessing in the world with judgment to remove war, sorrow, death and so forth. God' s evil predesign in opposition in our world to survive for a season, where man sin never design to bring the fall of man' spirit design to bring condemn nation to even destroy God's opposition that faced destruction for sin.
Yet our sin goes where God's plan of evil goes into a fiery pit of judgment. God"s plan for man's corruption for man. God taking his perfect will of man allowing it to remain through all eterninity with no corruption controlling his will.
As believer's are we surrendering to living to God's perfect will despite evil nature caused by God's oppositional nature not created but for destruction. Do we rest in the corruption of war that is God's corruption and not his peace. Do we rest in God's judgment and not his joy and happiness. Are looking for God"s sorrow and not his happiness, joy and blessings. Then has your joy of life been stolen because you allow God's judgment to glorify his will and not glorify his victory of salvation in other people's life. Make the season judgment only in God's timing through war and sorrow. May the seaon of joy, peace, birth be yours to bring in those golden years of life to come wirh age. To much judgment brings our own condemnation because we look not to God"s grace and hope but only to death and hate. We are not to walk into those things God calls evil but those he calls good thoughout the ages.
Dear Heavenly Father let refect on godly blessing and power of life in form of hope, grace and life more abundantly. In Jesus precious name Amen. Continual Scripture Study: Ephesians 2:1-10 KJV
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
