Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Ezekiel 37:1-14 KJV
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

If I done my job these two passages has no problem being loop together. The only differemve is dry bones and death is low as God can go before allowing bones to live. Weary of the old and feeble is as low has a person can go where when alive strength can return by the aid of God. The question is do you want to be restore almost dead or when bones are dry and probably brittle.

The past few weeks have been rough for my husband and I. The debate who strong enough to get the job needed doing done. In reality it the great debate until one moves to do the chore. One feels like they got one leg in the nursing home, until hope arrives and reality happens, one can do more then they thought. Right now I feel physically weak but not spiritually dead.

Those dry bones have not only physical life within but spiritual life is arising. Some look at house Israel has spiritually dead failing to see faith arising as changes occurs overseas. Prophesy keep us all watching Israel, yet many wait for the day they see their Messiah and no longer handicap to God's word. God's word says the house of Israel will rise up.

I know in a few weeks my husband and I wont feel like we are living in a nursing home. We know our bodies will heal. It is part of life. Healing does come. We also know it comes in God's timing. Healing with a process can you prove it Biblically. Jesus heal a blind man twice and I believe story is in Luke. I know God does because I seen people healed overtime.

We learn to trust God where we are knowing He can heal instantly and other times it in his timing. How dry are bone God has rise up and yet he enables the weak to mount up with wings of eagles. Yet he able to do both in his timing. Stop only seeing speedy recovery, God timing best and his ways fun finding out.

Dear Heavenly Father, may your will be done in the earth. Though we experience diaster from hurricances, tornadoes, flooding and fires across our land, let us go with your will and guidance for your people knowing your in charge. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
