Thankful Day 4 11/04/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPsalm 26:1-12 KJV
1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.Publish all thy wonderful works. David published in his intergrity the wonderful works of God. He did so as his status as king. His status of who his friends were. He published his thanksgiving because who God is.
Our intergrity is important when we publish works of God. Our countability as a follower of faith is important. It how others view the messenger of what they read based on knowledge of who telling the story.
As I watch children grow up and publish there work to social media some doing so in good taste and others not caring what they post. It teach so much about each person. It tells also attitude about faith.
Let us share our faith this thanksgiving telling why we love Jesus, why God important in our lives. People know each of us know if it real us. Share if you love Jesus.
Dear Heavenly Father may we share your light in the intergrity we have has believers. Sharing why we truly thankful, In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: Psalm 71:16-18 KJV
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
