Matthew 7:7-11 KJV
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

There many things we might ask our earthly Father's for. From my earliest rememberance as a child I believed I asked my own father to take the family to go camping or fishing, drive the lawn mower, go biking. Now not everytime I ask did I get my way. Yet part of learning is to hear the word yes or no from one's father. Being taught by a earthly father about God and Christ an the good things of life. Be warned about life from parents. What if your not like me having good father or parents. Hopefully pastvthe blame game of who at fault of bad parents. Hopefully you had good role modeld on your life both male and female to help you in life journey. Some reading might still be working through it. Remember I never said my folks were perfect but they did the best they know how. Not every family has a good tradition of good parents, that doesnt mean you will be a bad parent too. It means you got a chance to stand up to the plate God has dealt you and become The best parent you can be.

One way being a good parent is teaching children about faith. Another way is to give your children good gift the same way God would. Giving gifts that are also learning but will help a child grow in a healthy direction.

One thing parents can do is teach their child to pray and ask question. Ask, Seek and knock and God will open the door of fairh to you. God our heavenly(in his habitatition a place of Holiness) Father. Not the same father who got your mom pregnant but the one God intrust you to, to raise you up meaning your earthly biological dad, a dad that foster or interact enough with you. The man that was your role model.

Dear Heavenly Father you are the father of good gifts and maker of good role model by faith in you. Guide our steps as we grow, in the knowledge and wisdom of your gifts you give us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
