1 Peter 1:6-8 KJV
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Fiery trials of faith does not mean necessarily a physical fire with flames. The fiery trials of faith is fought with the sword and fire of the Holy Spirit. What is this trial but a test a time of even persecution but a time of making sound choices because of faith in Jesus. A rock can get in ypur shoe but the enemy the devil can not pierce your feet.Your feet is sodded with the Gospel of peace and your head is covered by the salvation of faith. What can penetrate the Gospel of Peace? No storm can blow or fire from below can steal tour salvation. It appears after the rooster crowed three times and Peter realizes he has deny Jesus he finds Jesus had forsaken but appears to him after he finds the empty tomb.

When and if we get to that place of denial His hands are still there for us. Reason being the cross that fear, the reality of the trial Jesus was going through was to much for the disciples to take and see. I am sure Peter had seen executions but Jesus had done nothing wrong.

Peter found not only hope during attack of the devil his salvation but God's will was accomplished by the prophesy given by Christ. That is trial he found without power but not without compassion for His Lord. He wepted bitterly for his denial and found the peace of His salvation. His faith unchanged but the reality he was not equal to Jesus.

None of us is equal to Jesus but the armor of faith will protect one from from the fiery trials of faith. Times of doubt, denial and even flames of unsecurity, self worth, and trying to discover who God real is if what he says to you is true.

Dont continue in sin just turn away with a repentant heart and know the armor of faith will see you through. For Jesus is always there leading you homeward bound.

Dear Heavenly Father, give us the strength the endurance of our faith to know our salvation continues through the work of Christ's cross through out our life. We are work of yours in progress, not forced but ever growing in faith as we trust and obey your will for our lives. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
