Psalm 143:1-2 KJV
1 A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

If we enter into judgment with God, as God's servant, no one would be justified. We all are guilty of sin and no one can be justiifed not even by the law but only through faith in Christ Jesus. Faith being more valuable then justification if sin.

The little boy wanted to justify his action, not understanding faith was all that we had to do, to be saved. We enter the old woodshed. The father taking off his belt ask if there was anything he could say to justify his action and get out of his correction. The son replied when you were a boy did you ever get in trouble for something you could not justify? Father thought for a moment. We can not justified our actions but by faith in a loving God that willingly forgives our sin, we can be set free by faith. Son looked up, and said can you just forgive me without justification by correction. I believe you love me.

To be justified we can not go without correction, but with faith we are forgiven if we confess our sins.

Dear Heavenly Father remind us we can not be justified by our action for our salvation comes through faith in Christ Jesus but by his grace for each of us, in Jesus precious name, Amen.
