God's Gold 8/29/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisDeuteronomy 1:17-45 KJV
17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
19 And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.
20 And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us.
21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.
22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:
24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.
25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us. 26 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God: 27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. 28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.
30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.
32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,
33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.
34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.
37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it. 40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
41 Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.
42 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
43 So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
44 And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
45 And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.We want the palace without faith. We want the kingdom without faith based on God's revelation without hope of faith, because we stand in the valley of fear without knowledge of God's power on his Holy hill, because we see the power of the enemy. When the men investigate the hill to the valley on the otherside and know the wealth and riches only to say the valley was run by honey bees let the People see the title of land being a place of milk and of honey made by his word, and they knew it was possible. It is getting nearly impossible to find faith without evidence with people of Israel and this anger God that he rather let them go through the spiritual journey of the red sea and not enter the land they can see by the physical word ready to be possessed. To see the riches and wealth before and not the blessed hope of faith. God wants the tribe to have that blind hope before the sight, but he allowed them too see the hope. Hope that He could go before and with them to destroy the Amorites. God warned them not to make war with the Amorites.
The power of God commanding you to see the possibility so you now know your red sea experience in the wilderness is so you can receive your inheritence. Watch God swallow the enemy that chases you to the other side of the red sea so you can then grow the faith for the want of bread, water and meat. The trust you need because the supply is abundant in the land with or without honey. God doesnt want you to have the chocolate factory without the belief hardwork and faith which is more valueable and is greater and truth is greater between friends. The journey with blind faith produces a faith and trust of friendship with God and not a silver spoon.
Believers your journey in the wilderness is not made with your hands but made with his. He knew Caleb and his men were ready but the others were not. Caleb and his would receive the promise while others would die in the wilderness learning faith and the hope of their eternal home which is greater then any land promised Israel on earth.
Our wealth may teach us not to trust in God's will or timing because we are able to produce with our own hands. God wants to be the provider with blind faith. It is like Doctors can sometimes expediate insurance case or wait til the insurance company the alot time fir approval it normally takes for a case causing endless time and worry on people needing a costly procedurer that they can not afford to but in some cases will try to pay themselves because of length of approval. They beg friends and family for money to get the procedure because the insurance is not agreeing in a timely fashion because of their policy and doctors are either greed or naive of the situation care not where money laundriers and racketeers of recieving insurance money after it been paid for by the family and friends of a love get their money. Plus they often get both money collect and insurance money which is a type of fraud case. People lives are on jeopardized by doctors and insurance because they see not only see the outcome of the outcome of prayers that would happen anyway. Meaning the hyprocrate oath has no power and greed wins unless caught. But the people suffer at hands of villans that like playing God to defenseless people. God only wants people to understand his timing and not the devils timing. He show them promise but tell them why the door is slammed in their face, because the devil wants to steal their chance of faith from them. Faith is about God's ability to over power the devil ability when God's love, faith and hope is the only thing that will win. Those wise wont play to the devil.
I have have had my first chemo treatment and I am doing fine. I am feeling much better and got a better nights rest for once. That not something I did not thank God for when my miracle happened in 2004 of healing from chronic pain but I know it was probably part of the package in my healing. I also suffer from chronic fatigue so any rest from being in pain free might not not be completed rest but a better rest and something to be thankful for. Those that suffer say Amen because you understand what I am talking about. Those that understand from a psychological point say Amen. Those that dont get it say Amen and teach me understanding without the suffering.
You might see the goal of the earthly kingdom but God wants to teach you the gold of his kingdom. Dear Heavenly Father may the devils die not only in the red sea but also in their power to be a copy cat without true faith, hope and love winning. Because you care and your provision is on time. Teach us your gold of faith, love and hope. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
1 Peter 1:1-25 KJV
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
