Spiritual Birth 4/11/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The sin of the past can not be sin of old in the future. If we laid our burdens at the cross they are truly forgotten. Now sin reigning in our life from the time of salvation is what something new that must be changed for the glory of God. Our sin before does not effect the work of Christ in your life at the time of conversion. Child runs across a street foolishly dodging a car, he is forgiven once safely across but the next time it happens the seat of his pants bears the consequences of his crossing by the parent's hand. The first crossing came with correction of words but discipline came with the second action to keep one from dying young.
There things of old past upon salvation that forgotten upon salvation, yet we harbor sinful ways sometimes part of our culture that must be done away with. The sin tried to follow us into the newness of faith but it can not remain. Reason it can not stay is our new nature that wants no part of it. We are truly transformed spiritually. Our memory of past remain, so it seems their no end to sin but our new forgiven state does not know sin until it eats from the tree of forbidden fruit. It back to believing their no spiritual change and is a lie from the devil. As a child of God you were not given spiritual life to continue in past sins. Yet we go back and begin to cross the road wrecklessly and find the whip and sword of the Holy Spirit as he tongue lashes you and pierces your soul of crossing the road carelessly. Even before the first step of misbehavior begins God begans to warn to look before you cross. Do not think you can survive by being hit in the middle of the road playing chicken.
Truth God has a plan for your life, but how you arrive at the designation point to perform His will is part of your very nature of who you are. Judas greed cost him everything. What is my point. We can arrive full of new sin that must be trashed before will of God can be performed or you can walk in the newness of sinless life with making accidently mistakes. We all feel chastisement of God in our life as a child of God. That is one way of knowing your his kid and not the devil. What fruit of God's Spirit is pouring out of your heart in the newness of now being born again Spiritually. You may experience unspeakable joy, unchangeable peace, and love like no other. In conversion you will see the long suffering of God's hands open wide saying receive the gift of my Son Jesus today. I been waiting for you to come to a state of grace of virgin birth of the Spirit. To know my Spirit from not the law but the state of spiritual new birth.
Our need of a second birth being not of the flesh but of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a virgin to our need or to transformation he can make to our life but we enter naively into the work of God has for our individual life. Until you experience you own transformation and spiritual transformation by his unchanging hand, you can not fully know God or begin to truly understand his ways. You desire for spiritual transformation prepares you to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Not one soul is perfect but upon receiving Jesus Christ as Lord you will also begin your first transformation by admitting sin and knowing your need of a Savior Jesus, who God provides for you. For all have sin and fall short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23). Push the How to be saved buttons. You find scripture that points the way to saying a prayer for salvation.
Dear Heavenly Father transform our hearts as we believe and ask Jesus to forgive us.May your Spirit come to give us direction. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: Romans 3:23-31 KJV
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
John 3:5-8 KJV
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
