12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

To be chosen is one more curriculum that can be found. It stands out because these people of faith are chosen for a purpose. Adam chosen to till the soil, Eve chosen to be the mother of all living. Her blessing also being her punishment for she would have pains giving birth. Adam only have the continue nip at his heels, which he have to remember to only step backwards and crush the devil. First man and woman created for a purpose. Man and woman were to have commune with God. Noah founding grace in God's eyes. God use Noah has example of end of an age to beginning of a new age. God would use Abraham to be part of the new age, and a blessing of that new age of God eternal hope through faith. For Abraham was consider righteous. Though others would believe in God he and his wife would carry the promise of the Messiah. The hope of the next age to come. He carry a new covenant of eternal hope. His family was to be example of people of faith. Yet in reality the became people of the law that if you did not believe you were controlled by the law at the minium and tradition by following by the ways of the people. God even protect other tribes and nations from sinning againat him and his anointed. One sin not mentioned two days ago in lesson on sin in Genesis was adultery. Yet God protected his people. Another of God' s laws in original first book of scripture.

I thank God for his freedom he gives as believers even to allowing our mistakes because of blood of Jesus, but angry at myself for my failings, then I see God is able to use my failings as well to help others not of faith to sin.

If we examine all the chosen men and women of God they were hard workers. They were not lazy, the were farmers, builders and tended to sheep and were also builder, even if only a well. Today is Labor day and everyone is called to a day off even if it is not today. We thank God for working world all around us that demonstrates the call of work in each of our life. God calls each of us and choose each of us for his purpose and for his glory. Even Abraham's son Ishmael had a purpose as well as Abraham's son Issac. Meaning we call call to follow the one who is in charge of the map we should go in, because we have a call from God we need to yield too.
