Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

2 Corinthians 3:1-18 KJV
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Struggle today may be not like yesterday. I spoke of the holies of holies being now in our heart for confession and repentance. I have talk about God's handwritting on our hearts. When one going through hardship or difficulty it not easy sometimes to hard to deal with things and told focus needs to be on God seems almost repetitive but it is not. Why because their is peace in the valley for you amd me. Peace in the storm if we well rest there in the presence and worship of God. There things we learn in infancy of faith, yet in teenage rebelious years of faith we seem to loose that fact for a time. Our need of human things and desires, supercedes our common sense of spirituality. Meaning we trying hard to live in our present situation and not focus on the one that take us through the present time. Even rich people worry. Poor people live sometimes in a state of worry, fear and stress that emotion are often not solved with money.

The truth will set you free. Why because God is truth and is Spirit is truth. There many things we handle with spiritual truth. What were people in the wilderness experiencing? What were the people seeing as they looked upon Moses' face? They were seeing the glory of God shown on his face. Better yet what had they already witness. Why was the veil neccessary to cover his face? People were afraid of God and the shining that came from God on people that were mere spokesmen of God. I get tickled when I hear the fear of minister especially if I know the minister is a kind and caring soul.

What happen when people fear leaders' called by God? The people know the reality of God but afraid to seek or submit to God. instead of asking question they push away. The veil or covering gives the ability for the minister to walk among the people. The humanity of Christ was such a veil to walk among the people but feared enough for people being afraid or people of faith coming for their miracle.

What wrong with the picture? Nothing because without veil you and I be dead by now. The judgment with the veil would either bring death or one to fall to our knees in his presence depending on whether one we are believers of faith cleansed by the blood of Jesus or standing with no protection or covering. With the covering in his presence we are transformed into the likeness of Jesus, our heavenly bodies and bodies made for the New Jerusalem. The division between God and man is no more. We wait for God to calling us to come home knowing the suffering of this world will one day be no more.

Those with unbelief have a veil, and once removed they will see the laws on the heart and fine no more protection from God, beyond the fires of hell. That why God needs all type of ministers, he desires not one soul to perish, but God gave man free will/choice which he establish wjen he created man, there ate consequences for bad choice.

Dear father teach people to minister with the veil. With the costume of faith in our earthly shell. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 5:1-21 KJV
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
