Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Isaiah 1:18-19 KJV
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Isaiah, Jeremiah and Lamatations are 3 of the major prophets before the exile. The promise of forgiveness if the nation would repent. It is choice to do good or to do evil. Isaiah brings much comfort to the remnant of believers with the prophesy of the Messiah and also hope for the nation if they repent. Jeremiah no different in preaching mainly judgment to come and the bless hope of the Messiah to come. The book of Lamations is said also to be writen by Jeremiah.

I have decide not to go to deep on the subject of the pre exile because I have covered all three books in the past. However wanting to explain the time frame being pre Babylonia exile. Isaiah and Jeremiah finish the kings out. Jeremiah is last seen going into and in exile.

God grace great for his people that repent. God call on prophets during perilious times is no picnic. God spoke warnings to them to preach.

Dear Heavenly Father call our hearts to repentance and cover our sin. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Lamentations 1:18 KJV
18 The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
