4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

I taken a few verses this morning and lumped them together, not my general desire when they are contrasting in some ways, but in other ways not. Passages of scripture may have little to do with each other that surrounds each verse but there are some key elements of these verses that transverse time, space and thought, it called facts. When we dealing with knowing who God is, we want as many facts as we can handle to know God and his relationship to man. In John 3:16 and 17 it declares God's loved the world, that he was giving his only begotten Son to the world. God is not a friend to the world right, but by human understanding of the world the gift of love would make one a friend. God's definition his love did not imply friendship. One day on a video, I watch a lionness care for a baby deer. The video maker went on to say the lionness was would one day eat the deer she cared for. Human's care for animals the same way. They raise them knowing there is meat to eat if starving or need to sell. Yet they often nurture those animals into thinking they are loved. God so loved the world but he one day will destroy the heaven and the earth. How can you rationalize this train of thought. Most would just toss me perhaps out a window this morning, because they believe God loves them. I agree God loves you, but one's unbelief and you can not be wicked and expect God not to destroy you. God is no more your friend then the lionness to the deer, or the farm to a flock of chickens. Now for the believer God is truly friend, but to God's enemy he loves you and cares for you but is not your friend. He ready to destroy you. However God desires to call people of faith friend and desires us all to be his friend.

Heaven is God throne and earth is God's footstool. Heaven is where God authority and power reside, and earth is where God walks, treads, and even cast things away in. Look it up in the hebrew dictionary sometime Isaiah 66:1 as a reference. I could go on like this all day. God throws his junk pile on earth, but in that junk pile he desires to take and mold the people into something new and not to allow it to go to waste. Yet he can not force anyone that does not want him in their life, he wants free volunteers and our salvation comes through Christ Jesus, because "we all sin and fall short of the glory of God(Roman 3:23)". If one sin got Adam cast out of the garden in heaven, how many sins do you have that would cast you out of the presence of God without a great out of hell free card to accomplish one thing God has planned for your life. Salvation has always begun with faith.

Jesus did not come to condemn but to save man. With his coming did not change our need to be a contrite and humble Spirit. Jesus came to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Those who repent will be revive, healed or cleansed. To be humble is to make low or recognition of another power is above them. In America, the humble spirit is often lacking on grounds that we all are equal to each other. Yet we learn to serve one another not in humility with a tyrantical power, but as equals in equality. Man constantly wrestles with powers of their own government as making itself lord in our land, and being not lord. Our own government having a judgment against his tyrantical view that can be taken to court, to judgment to be proven not in submission to its own governmental laws, which then is a crime in its own making.

Can we take God to court, can we plead our case before God and will he have mercy. Government will judge itself even at the supreme court level, if not on a local level. God who judges God, no one. His power reigns and people want the power of God to choose what is right and wrong in our world when he already outline the laws of faith, laws that protect society no matter what you believe, and what is best for man may not be understood because God vision of the full picture comes with knowledge which is power Big Brother wishes he had. Big Brother is jealous of God. He not jealous of God's people that obey God for if he was he would repent and follow God knowing God Spirit is to all that follow in faith first and obedience to God's ways second.

There is no other name but Jesus that man can be saved through eternity, his name is the key into the eternity that people need to receive eternal hope of salvation. Key given from the time Adam was in the garden, by obedience to God's word, and demonstrated in Noah life as he boarded the ark with his family. Seen in Abraham as he went to sacrifice Isaac, knowing that God had asked for his son, yet knowing not how God saved him and it was through the ram, who Christ takes the place of on the cross of Calvary.

We live in God's junk pile, but he wants to offer us salvation, he wants to give us a gift of life, and save us if we will desire him and have faith in him. He will tranform us into a new creation, a new habitation which is design for eternity, He lives in our very soul upon faith in him, His Son and his Spirit. His Spirit entering in to teach us all things. If God hates the world how come he seems to love and desire our friendship? He took Adam and place him in the garden desiring his friendship. Adam sinned and God cast him out, but did not forsake him.

God looks at man in love but the acts of man that against him as sin. Man action of love whether saved or unsaved is looked at as a form of obedience to God. Yet our obedience will not save us. You can place all your good works on one side of a scales and place all your evil on the otherside and hope your obedience out weighs the evil you do but it never will. God says there only one way for man to be saved and that through Jesus Christ who before he came in the flesh he was the word of God brought hope, life and faith to all that believed. With faith unto salvation but it must come with contrite and humble spirit, one willing to turn from sin. Our strive being to please God. Knowing our sin gets us no where with God.

God is at war upon the earth against the evil of man. Yet if we are a friend to the world, are we enemy of God. In other words we embrace evil and receive it as being just then are we not a child of God. Many laws of our nation is not of God but we work hard to be at peace with our government. When our government is in violation of God's laws as many governmental laws are, we find ourselves in option to God, no, because there are laws we are not in subjection, because they do not apply to our life style unless we are in violation of another rights. Are we friends of these laws, probably not, but to violate can cause one to be playing God and we are not God. To allow the world to be the world takes no law being in place. Yet there laws that are good and healthy for all society and groups of people and that is the way of peace. Is the way of peace of God. Godly peace is based on his promises. Man peace is based on laws of our land that are suppose to protect all. We can be at peace with our enemy and allow God to handle his and our enemy. God will destroy the enemies of God one day.

God sent his Son to redeem his enemies. He loved them but could not call them friend until they became his child. Became part of the team, part of his family through his Son Jesus, his Holy Word, the word of faith that whosoever believeth would not perish but have eternal life. Devil believes but is not a child of God. We must choose to live for Jesus, as we step out in faith becoming God's friend, and family member through the grace he gives through his Son for eternity. It is his promise to man, one must believe God's word that His Son is his gift to us all, a representive of himself in human form. The only one we can bow to and be saved. Where is your faith? Do not be destine to continue to be junk to God, Be one of God's master pieces, that he recreated out of his junk pile.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Jesus, thank you for loving us despite the fact we were once enemies of yours. Turn us into your soldiers of faith, and thank you for calling us children by spiritual rebirth through faith in the gift of Jesus to the world. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
