Joshua 4:19-24 KJV
19 And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

Our forefathers made a Declaration of Independence to exihibit our freedom 1776. Yet it with that freedom that the laws still had to be formed called the Constitution of the United States which many ammendments have followed the Bill of Rights, to act freedom within the laws of our land. Today is July 4th, 2023, that freedom is always under scrutiny of legal advisers and the law makers of our land. Our laws are which provoke our freedom are the very laws that one day may take freedom if people do not protect against the laws that corrupt our society. Today I going to talk about the bridge of dry land. A bridge by God's word came to be without the laws of man or physics. A dry land that came between two walls of writen code one scripture and one by the laws of society called man. As Israel crossed over Jordan like Israel had crossed over the red sea, the twelve tribes cross over by dry land, with a wall of water around them. On the coastline of Virginia going to the beach you can either go across by bridge or go through a tunnel underwater. Underwater the walls of the tunnel hold back the water as one cross through to the other side. The bridge over the water, one see the water and the view, but no one ever cross from one side to the other without bridge or a tunnel. God made structure of a wall of water on both sides man. It is not a dam, because a dam will hold water back, but a dam would not have a wall of water on the bothside. There certain things that occurred in scripture man tried hard to determine if it was some type of natural phenomon or actually miracle work of God. Red Sea crossing be so examined. God's hand was involved in both the Jordan and the Red Sea crossing.

God's hand is involved in his laws and the laws of man. Not all of man's laws are about faith, but about protection of man if they are from God. God's laws protect not only faith, but also man's laws the protect society for the good in freedom and liberty. Not all countries in our world have laws that protect human life, not all laws protect society, some laws cause it own destruction. As the water debated man was able to pass through on dry land. If it was not for dry land man would be trampled by both walls of water depending on high tide or low tide, would determine which side would trample a person. Those that have no clue what low and high tide is, it when the water from the ocean comes in with the current and then changes direction and takes the water away. It a process that occurs along the beach and tidewater regions of the United states that is effect directly by ocean currents. For those that know it a hazzard of walking on dry land without faith to do so, might mean I crushing blow or drowning in sin.

Faith is more then wall of water on either side. Faith in our country means we trust it as we do the laws of God to hold our laws of our country from trampling its citizens. The law of faith rules only means man can and will get crushed by the laws because of breaking them. It takes act of God to remove the crushing blows of either law from us at times. The law that is invoke protection is called the law of faith through Christ Jesus, who is our bridge between God's laws and man's law. Man's laws being subject to God's laws, though man at times try to say man's laws rule. They look at the cross of Christ and with his death they had victory but with Christ resurrection God's and his people had victory.

For people to walked to the other side of the river with two walls, comes with the beginning of faith. We think we need to place Jesus in front of us, to keep our eyes on him, but in reality he stands in the middle as we pass through. Yet in the first leg of our journy as we pass through the ark goes before the people in jordan account the ark stands in the middle. Man's laws can crush or protect the same way God's laws do. However the law of faith which is different then the Ten commandments except for the first law. The word of God is protection for us through eternity and governs the law of faith. God's laws of faith will crush even the law he established for man but one and the first law. The laws of man often tries and will not crush the laws of faith. The laws of faith says nope the laws of faith will not crush me, because I passing through on faith in Christ Jesus, the word of God declared faith would bring me home if I keep my eyes on Jesus and allow him to stand in the middle between God and me. Our independence and liberty comes with faith in God has we walk through dry land without laws of God and the laws of man in faith by the Spirit.

Yet both laws are readable, for our protection, seeable for our protection of the direction being straight ahead between two walls of water. God's word and laws will one day when the water flows, will crush the laws of man, taking them swiftly away with the current when God lets his wall to return to the law of man. God's word and laws ever flowing over the pathway of faith after we cross over to the other side.

True freedom is without the laws of man that we must follow along with the laws of God. Our Founding Father's believed in the word of God and used the laws of God to form our nations laws. Our laws were suppose to be protection but it is not always so. Laws are only as good as the Leaders that do not abuse the laws. God's word is better then those that abuse it because evil will not prevail, says God and he able to bring back and raise up his word again. Hold to the promises of God. Keep focus because those of faith and those not of faith are walking between two walls, some not even believing in one wall or either wall they walk between, those people will be like Pharoah trying to cross but overcome by the word of God as it completely destroys them with the final crushing blow of water of his word that says without faith, you will not see the Lord, you will not see the other shore because you had no faith in God to get you to the other side. Because you did not trust in God's word of faith that to all that believed in Jesus and keep their eyes on him would reach the other shore.

Moses and Joshua both part the water, but that in itself took faith. As the priest, step in the water carrying the ark, the water push back on both sides and dry land appeared. That in itself takes faith. It takes more faith to stand in the middle of the wall as the Priest did both in faith and to the otherside called the Promise land. We can not look back at jordan as we began our walk, or we be like Lot's wife and turn to a pillar of salt, we must continue to focus on the promise of the land beyond the first step of faith in Jesus. Priest are in the middle to say keep looking to the promise land. Keep looking to God, keep pressing forward. Jesus is our high Priest, as we look at him on the other shore called the Promise Land, we meet Jesus in the middle of the river to see we standing on the road of faith. Yet to walk hand in hand with Jesus, we must be willing to believe he will protect us til we reach the other shore, that he will go with us to the other shore.

Faith comes with a price, it comes with the rest of the world saying the walls are enough we walk through on dry land because of the wall. Yet when God's word is removed from the middle we are crushed by his word and the laws of man. We must trust God's word to protect us as we walk not only in faith but by the Spirit of God. Faith is ever seen, but until we ourselves grab hold we walk between two walls and one will fall without warning to crush and destory you one day.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Men that loved your laws enough to include them in our nation. Lord remove your laws not from our heart but instill them to know they for our protection as we walk by faith. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Romans 4:18-25 KJV

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
