Matthew 18:15-22 KJV
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

There many people that get trapped in the ability not to forgive both believers and unbelievers. Jesus said to forgive. Jesus said to forgive and to talk to brother's and sister's in private and then go with two or three witness if they will not repent. And then take it before the church. Was the church word used for the temple here. Did you know the word church does not mean necessarily a christian organization it means an assembly or group of people. Makes one think when they see names and group names on a church what does it actually mean about the group of people. One can not know unless you ask what a group believes. You may be in the wrong church. If in the wrong church then you fail to do your homework on the subject about what a group believes. That is not church's fought it becomes your responsibility to know what you join and become a member of. Christians by groups are christians in churches but with the vagueness of the word church being able used make sure you are in the right kind for your children and family based on your own beliefs. A wise man once told me you enter a church and spread the Gospel that is written in scripture as long as the word is welcome in the group of people. Do not worry about it otherwise. I had another wise man ask me if i was trying to get the whole church saved. I smile now and say perhaps I was without knowledge. because the greatest joy is found in Christ Jesus. If a group of people that invited a christian in and they teach remember God will is going to be done on earth as it is in heaven. If you brought before your church in away that is not of God and you know to shake that dust off your feet and keep right on going out the door unless God speaks to your heart otherwise. Correction from man is not necessariy of God you have to decide, not only pray about it but obey God in the matter.

Who is your brother? It is one's brother, friend or neighbor. We all have neighbors in our life that maybe not be next door but is neighbors down the road or across town that is consider friends and are brothers and sisters. However neighbor is not always a brother, but it would be someone you would want to correct a problem in a relationship. By going to the church as the final situation, it is correcting the error of the situation. Most people day probably bring an issue before the public courts in matters of injustice. The things of God concerning scripture is handle in the church, and things that are legal issues are often handled by courts. It depends on the situation. The pastor and elders can be consulted for such matters.

What is forgiveness, it often given before being asked for by someone. It can be simple apology, given but the person already overlooked the problem. Other problems fester to the point forgiveness in one's own heart is more important then even the apology. God's forgiveness in something no apology or confession is needed, and in other things confession is needed for the cleansing of the soul. When the blood of Christ is applied to our sin we are cleanse for all unrighteousness through eternity, yet it does not mean we never repent from things after salvation. It means our sin is covered by Jesus work on the cross for our sin. No one else can take away our sin. When we learn to forgive like Jesus we often taught on how to forgive others despite what they do to us. Yet no one is perfect and learning to forgive takes work. To forgive as Jesus instructs Peter seven time seven, we have to ask are you keeping score? Most would say they not keeping score, but the amount is given to represent our need to continue to forgive as God forgives us our tresspasses as well.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to forgive as you continue to forgive us of our sins after salvation. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
