Joy Of The Lord 2/03/2023
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPhilippians 4:1-7 K
1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly.
2 I bseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Rejoice in the Lord always and against I say rejoice is a melody of a song that sung in praise teams or children in their sunday school classe. It is a reminder we are to rejoice in the Lord. Stand fast in the Lord, the joy and my crown. Paul is writting the Philipian church. He is reminding them of the hope and joy of standing firm in Christ Jesus. Standing firm in the word of faith. It is our hope and our joy. Today is a day off for me, but I wanted to reminded you to rejoice in the Lord, Let your moderation be known unto all men. To the day of the Lord is at hand. Nothing is to be done without prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving. Hard words but necessary words for a believer to pray and to seek the Lord in all matters. The peace of God will pass all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
May God be with you today, may you mediate on the words of God and his scripture that speaks clearly to the believers heart. No other instruction need.
Dear Heavenly Father, may God be with the readers of this site that the joy of the Lord will be their strength and they will rejoice in your word freely. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
