John 21:5-6 KJV
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Jesus called to his disciples call them children. And ask do you have any meat? They had fished all night and caught nothing. Yet without hesitation they cast the net on the right side of the board and drew a multitude of fish, and were not able to pull their nets because of the number of fish. Rev Billy Graham came into this our area and help with some of the needs of the people including helping with establishing of running water in some areas. His mission work in appalachians I leaving hear for 30 year when I came across the information. I write from the backwoods region of Virginia and had not heard of one of the most famous minister had come in doing evanglistic work in our region. How could I have missed that information. I had not lived in this region at the time of his work that he did himself here. Yet even I know there were areas even still probably true today that lack running water or proper plumbling needed for health living. It does not mean the people did not have sanitation or water, it was not best, or clean compared to people in lower valley areas of the region had. It did not mean the people were not educated either of the need for better plumbling and better things, it was their affordability and ability to do was not economic impossible. In poor areas this is half the battle. Yet when you living off the land and supply is from the land for food and water it changes the compass of inability of not the need of it being as great as inner cities. If in the inner cities without plumping of any kind and without food being hand out people starve and go long days without water. If water unclean you can boil in the hills, in the city water unclean you got to find a location to start a fire and have something to burn.

My own grandfather served in southwest virginia for over six years based on my uncle age, not sure exactly how long he was here on our side of the mountain. No one in this region barely knew his name either in this region now. Why because it was back in 40's. My father served on the other side of these hills still in appalachia region but in the valley. My uncle was here for a short time period. And Great Great Grandfather preached in these hills as well. I smile when I think of this. Why because I sure I failed all five ministers in my time, along with my God, and then I realize God not through with me yet for I found a way to keep sharing his word. He still needs me to fish, why because their people still hungry for God's word somwhere in the world in which we live. See there is going to be a point, ministers came into Appalachia for more then to help the poor but to preach the word of God to people that both did not believe and others that did. People who love God's word were hungry for the knowledge of God's word. It not about how much you can pay a minister it the need of the word of God to be preached and established in all areas around the world. It has nothing to do with government but people from government to low and rich of society. The riches man in area can sit and talk to the poorest and if they both know Jesus they have something in common with each other. It not about having or not having, it about seeing the needs of a region and knowing Jesus is still needed and will always be needed here. I myself need God's word daily. I need the salvation of faith In Jesus daily not just one time a year.

The disciples would always need meat, Jesus knew this, he always provide the meat when he need his disciples to go and do. What more then one story of Jesus telling them to cast those nets in a place where they catch a school of fish. How much faith does it take to cast your nets into water that you fish all night to catch a lot of fish at one time. Jesus is telling his disciple from shore after the resurrection to cast their nets in another location, why because the fish on one side just are not ready to be caught. They are not ready to be pulled to shore. Their purpose to fill those nets is not yet. Maybe they just little minnows on the other side of the boat. I do not know. Everytime Jesus tells them to cast their nets in they come back with more fish then they can barely drag to shore.

Lesson we got to keep sharing Jesus for sooner or later their be a lot of people that will be ready to receive Jesus, many people caught by the minister for the kingdom of God. Every generation has to preach and be a witness of Jesus, for there lost souls out there needing saving. When you see your own life change because of Jesus but others as well, you then know the power of Jesus to change lives. When you think you can not share Jesus one more time, I be truthful you find you can. When ministers come and go from this region, some returning, some home grown and some to remain through out their career one thing we must remember we have the greatest thing in our life that will impact our communities and that is Jesus. Are we still sharing Jesus, are we sharing the truth of God's word. Our we telling them the meat that Jesus supplies is eternal life, that the hope and meat we need is for eternity. Without the meat of our salvation we will not have eternal life. Jesus is the supply we need in our daily life of the spiritual meat of faith. The meat is not all the cross referencing, research and knowledge of the word it is simple Jesus and his story of his death and resurrection. The substance of faith that begins and ends our need for eternal hunger in one course of salvation. Yet we continue to grow in faith with milk of the word in the lives of the people in scripture that God give each person during their life time. We need to desire the milk of the word as new born babies. We need to desire the love and mercy of God in our life. Are you going to keep fishing because Jesus told you too. He will supply the fish. It does not matter if we remember in an area for preaching Jesus, it do we leave the message of Jesus here still going forth.

Dear Heavenly Father, you supply we keep preaching. Keep your word flowing in the lives of your people. Keeping them fishing for you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
