Psalm 68:1-20 KJV
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

Some of the poetic verses of scripture often explain end times as a flow like river of fire. The melting of the elements in time to come. The time in which Mount sinai flowed rivers of fire. A time of peace in the valley when God's wrath not being kindled. Sinai a place God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses. Mount Sinai the place after crossing the red sea signs of an erruption coming with the smoke and haze on the mountain. A time when what was on the mountain literally melted off because of the lava pouring out. Go to verse 8 of Psalms 68 one will see water flowing from Mountain sinai, just it was in Judge 5. Yet it speaks of a melting in Judges 5 and Psalms 68, a time of destruction and God's wrath.

The time of rejoicing and time of destruction. A time of peace and a time of war. Sometimes the praises of God is in destruction and sometimes the time of peace is to just be still and know who God truly is in the after math of destruction and or victory. David a king new much about war and victory. He understood the time before Deborah as a time of peace and safety, maybe much like times in his father's field tending to the sheep. There were always bears, lions and wolves to fight off, but that in every situation upon the earth. Give the enemy an inch he will take a mile. David examine the time of wilderness journey, and the wars that occurred in the time of correction.

King David knew what was to have victory and gifts from God, but he also knew about being in the battle of enemies of God. If you want to lead you got to know how to fight with the word of God. If you want to lead a nation you need to know how to solve economic crises and lead into battle. You can make a situation worse by making the wrong manuever.

This passage I can do a comparison to the time of Christ when he set the captivies free and gave gifts unto men. We can not deny Christ is the captain of the biggest military movement in the world, and yet the war is about love, faith, hope and so forth. His day of bringing judgment will come, but right now water flowing down the mountain of Sinai, only to one day bring fervent heat of destruction upon the earth.

If one picture of what Israel seen and compared to the wrath of God and time of peace with God will help the world. Then maybe the world will understand God's power to melt the heaven and th earth on the day of judgment. God is not slack concerning his promise his wrath will come, but we have to ask what type of people are we one of peace and safety or people of destruction trying to bring war and not peace. Russia and Ukraine still at odds. Yet no one though Ukraine as small as it was, would last this long against Russia. Is Russia playing around or is their nation in trouble. Or is God holding them back. Urkaine trying to fight with ettiquette never worked. England found out that when America fought not like uniformed men but devils when they sought independence. America learned what it was to go against Vietnam in battle, us fighting politically correct never won any war. God fights the battle of faith by his Spirit and not by the politically correct way of the world, or even with tools of the world. God is armed with weapons of his design, his power, his glory and his ways. His way being first love, mercy and then revenge if one bows not.

America is more at peace with his and her neighbor then she been in years, yet there will be always rumor of wars and wars til the coming of Christ. If we can only rest in the time of peace, perhaps others will take the torch of peace. The torch of peace that allows one run the race of faith. If the wrath of a nation all that seen on the news no one sees the love of a nation for all people. If they see that love, maybe God's people will be the ones to show it. Maybe God's people will arise to aid in the storms of life around the world, with continual hope of peace and safety that the world as never known.

Dear Heavenly Father, we praise you in the storms of battle, we stand in the triumph over our foes. We praise your name for the victory is not ours but yours and may our enemy be scatter to one day be destroyed. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

2 Peter 3:9-13 KJV
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
