Mark 5:25-34 KJV
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Physicians are one of the most world wide occupation people treasure. Why because they know many physicians know the treatment for many ailments or at the minimum they seem in most cases to work. There are cases that medical science still have not found a remedy or antedote to help resolve the issue. In fact there been new research on Myelofibrosis, disease at the time I was diagnoised in 96, it did not have a known treatment. Today there been research that has helped with treatment, may not be a cure, but it is aid in the fight that can be known as a deadly disease. Some cases it maybe a cure, it does not mean it can not recur. It be like diabetic saying sugar uncontrol without meds, but knowledge to still be aware of the potential possiblity of a flare up. Miracles by Jesus, often things a known cure was not available to a physician. Yet Jesus readily told the people that the whole needed not a physicians only the sick(scripture at the bottom of page). A woman with issue of blood had no way of being healed. That still occurs today and women have hysteromy to stop the problem. Back then even if the procedure was possible it was dangerous. No doubt the women had heard of miracles at Jesus hand and said Lord if I can just touch his garment, I know you will heal me. That is faith. knowing just to believe God is able to heal, just knowledge of grasping even his garment would heal was faith.

Asa a king that refused to seek God in many things in his career, refused to seek God for the cure of the disease in his feet. Woman with issue had gone readily to physicians with no help, but this king with knowledge of his kingdom always choosing ungodly advice. This king Asa knew of God but would not bow before God. That was his choice. Asa had many times he could of sought God while in power but did not. His illness no different.

Do we seek God in our illnesses? This woman with issue of blood had gone to many physicians. There no evidence she had ever sought God when she came and touched the hem of Jesus garment. Often our faith and our hindsight is short live with the need of medical treatment. Who runs to the doctor first before a quick prayer to God. The other night I was praying hard it was just a light bulb issue with the refrigator, before skimming Lowes website about hour later. There are medical emergency that one can not wait on. Thank God prayer comes forth from the believers heart even at those times. I am one of those believers that might go to physician first without thinking. Yet even I know God needs to be sought first and for most. I have meet people that seek God and wait for the cure. I often think it can be dangerous to wait, if you can not see God can confound doctors, as a testimony to unbelievers and believers in the medical alike.

If God can use science to aid in treatment is miracles necessary. If God can use science to help someone feel better does he need to give them a touch of his power? The flipside if God is in control why does he not heal all the time? Why do people suffer? Why is faith still needed in God(Father, Son and Holy Spirit). God does not want us to suffer. We suffer because of original sin, of I want another choice. The choice that is given by God to make our own choice from the beginning. And our choice not always being God. King Asa refused to seek God when no cure came. The ability for bone to regrow, does not mean a limb is growing back or would be wise to allow it to grow. It is the bodies natural ability to try and solve its own problem, causing issues sometimes. Sometimes the natural ability of our bodies can be seem amazing but also when it to sick to repair itself it needs help, because it begins to destroy itself instead of helping itself. God in his wisdom gave man knowledge, curiousity to help those that would never seek him. We can choose God to heal us or to seek him for healing and allow God to use doctors to cure us with knowledge he has give man over time. God still may miraclously heal us with or without a known cure. However will our healing be on this side of eternity. Let me ask if not on this side are you ready to die. Are your sins forgiven? Let me go on with this thought. When we ask for healing and God's intervention, how are we handling the situation? Are we witness to help another in the same situation. Are we a witness to someone else hurting? Are these people saved or unsaved. Have they sought God. What if God heals them and not you? Are you going to be jealous, angry at God, or willing to wait for the promise of healing. He is the healer of all our diseases. When and how God does it, is it worth waiting for? Meantime are you going to get a short term remedy for this side of eternity? And if the illness kills you, are you ready to wait for healing. One way or another our healing will come.

Jesus came to heal the sinner from his sins. He already healing our disease, through science, and through miracles. Some illnesses are because of sin. Get into a patch of poison oak and you begin to scratch, whose fault is it. If you get into a beehive you can see and get stung, whose fault is it. Yet it might hurt, it might itch, but you eventually be okay. Many things we do that we seek not God, but the one things that will effect us through eternity is not looking to Jesus and asking God to forgive us of our sin. Looking to the one that has power over sin to heal our soul. Jesus came to heal the soul of the sinner. It can be done definitely on this side of eternity. Miraclous is to strength our faith in him, to teach us to rely on Jesus. Where is your faith?

One of the biggest occupations in the world is medicine. Lawyers being maybe the next occupation sought after, only for most to give up on both because of all the education required in the study of medicine and the law. Religious study is the least study in school, why because who wants to go to school to learn to share your faith, after all you have the Holy Spirit. All you ever had to do to be in ministry was to share your faith and testify who Christ is. Those ministers in the pulpit had years of training, years of study, and hopefully learn both how to minister but how to do work outside of ministry.

In the Medical field there are times when the richest man can not buy a cure. The pandemic is living proof of no cure yet. Yet there is a remedy of vaccination to control the problem. God healing not coming in the form of death. Yet we argue why is God healing after earth for some and not others. Why not before. Yet people who come down with it and been real sick know God's grace of healing, with science involvement. As long as there unbelievers, we will need science to help those people. In heaven you only need your redeemer who light shines in heaven and one day in the new Jerusalem. Can you wait, can you shout. Can you say Praise Jesus!!. Can You Say Praise God!! Can you say Praise the Holy Spirit!!, and then can you say praise God(Father, Son and Holy Spirit) the healer of all our diseases.

Dear Father, help us to always seek you, even if it is a quick prayer on the way to hospital or doctor's office. Help us to seek you even when we struggle. Help us to seek you because you care for your children. Help us to be testimony to others in every situation. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
