One of the high school and university games is the big rivals promoting a health start to the season of school sports. Pray for the competitors as they hope for bragging rights of winning the big game.

Another big game is the game of life. There no more winning when you make the final touchdown, you either ran for Jesus or you played for the devils team. That gate at the door of heaven is pearly white so make sure running in the right direction.

1.Pray and meditate on God word.
2. Give if you got it to give to help kids as they return to school that needs material (Most of us know what is to be without a pencil for the day).
3. Enjoy the end of summer months as the sun begins to go back into its own hibernation for fall and winter.
4. Do outdoor activity you most likely will not do in winter.
5. Find a book to read or pick out a new song.
6. Buy a new outfit for school or work.
7. Do some redecorating before the weather gets to cold to keep windows and doors open.
8. Help a friend or neighbor.
9. Take time to share with a significant other about what God is teaching you as you study his word.
10. Enjoy and evening out or a picnic in a park.

School bells ringing let head to the school house, school about to begin. Some kids are already in school already, while others wont go back until Labor Day in September, and the rest begin somewhere in between. Remember this is the season of new books, pencil and paper. All are placed in shiney new notebooks and backpacks.

I remember when I got my first trapper notebook and then I lost it. I thought I would be in so much trouble, til I got home and realize I only forgot it. How precious memories are but the newest of the first day school begins to wear off when you realize everyone got almost the same thing even down to those old metal lunch boxes.

We might use all the same tools and notebook for each individual class but guarantee what is writen in pen or pencil unless school notes will not be all the same. The doodle bug, to the perfect pen man, to the hearts and smileys over every eye after every t is crossed. Now the ipads where only words are the only unique possibility. No one copying but staring at a screen of video and words with test that only to be answered with yes or no.

May God bless this school year from 2024-2025. May kids find more time to learn and spend less time on learning to be mean. May they learn compassion for there fellow students and teachers.

Put God back in school. Less violence, disrespect and hate when the God of Christian compassion reigns. Has not our nation learned yet what removal of love and hope does to the world. Let us put our schools together and our world together to allow God to reign in love and hope.

Olympic Games a major sporting event that the world unites to take part in. It about doing your best in ones sport but also to meet and see athletes all over the world. It a wonderful way to compete and make friends admiring each other accomplishments of taking home the gold, silver and bronze. All hoping not all winning but all making a fine showing of hard work and talent. May God smile on these athletes.
