Mother's Day is May 12, 2024. When Mother's day I think of babies be born, been born and well be born. I think of motherhood past, present and future. I think of the role women play in all society with those motherly, nuturing and loving skills all in tow. There old women that know how to get the most out of employee because they been around children and were successful parents. Then those bosses without a lick of sense on how to deal with people.
Mother's Day itself is a celebration of womanhood whether your a mom or not, we as women share those nuturing, motherly skills that keep the world moving along as one big happy family whether the world is happy or not.
In years gone by I think about how far women have come and I think again and think woman havent come that far at all. We removed the protection our men that cover women in skills that men thought was only for them. Woman for century have done "men jobs" when working under the husband's leadership. Women now hire in "manly jobs" by men that neither protect or care to shelter them. Only if you can prove you can do the job more power and money to you. Yes there still work women might say let the men handle it. But what it entail only women would want to do it because no one else would do it.
Now with this let us ask women do we need power to prove ourselves or God's word that says the first women was created to be a helpmate. The role of women(the church) sheltered by the minister. Christ being over the minister and the church. The Christian family represented by Husband working and women caring for needs of the home. Or has women and men change the role of women not really. Women worked in the fields and market places for centuries. The world working implies women are gathering needed income for the family, whike still mopping and dusting and tending to their children. Only thing that changed they do not always get hours with their kids that they desire. Children still do chores, spend time with mom and dad. Our world is no longer hiding the strength of women's work in the world. God did not intend women to be slaves to their husband and kids, but instead as they were to be a partner where the women does task at home and work place along with husband leading in love as example to his family as his wife shares with those duties of love. God intent was to be our Lord and Savior and head of husband and wife plus their children.
This Mother's Day think what have women not done in our world and if you think long and hard when men were at war or hunting work far from home, women were left doing what men do. Pray for the unity of the family unit. Pray for women to see there no unknown fronteer for them because women already been there.
