As my little town is finished putting up the lights and decoration, they have once again moved the Nativity scene, this time no longer hiden behind the grassy bank of the Sander's house it is now located at the town fountain and absent from the town square where it once was, enabling the little town to reflect not just on commercialism of Christmas but Christ in Christmas. Christ being absents from any downtown Christmas celebration. It sad enough that people shorten the spelling of Christmas to xmas, Cmas and just mas, never considering the importance of leaving Christ in the spelling of Christmas.
As one goes about locally remember to smile and say Merry Christmas. May the joyful words that Jesus Christ is born be reflected in our town and around the world. May we keep Christ in Christmas. Let us continue to spread the reason to keep Christ in Christmas.
May you have a blessed Christmas
