 Month Of May by Christina Farris 5/10/2020 Daily Devotions is in full swing for May and as I think of the journey of believers it must begin with Holy Spirit and the church. The Bridegroom and the Bride. The Bride being the church, the body of believers. The journey of the church is about the group of believers. As many are celebrating mother's day in tradition of our physical mother's, this website is celebrating Mother's Day as the journey of the church and spiritual life of the church. I started several months ago not even sure how long to rid this site of traditions of man and work toward celebration of faith. Not sure when this began, whether New Year or some time back. It actually made it hard for inspiration from just sitting and writting, but it also push me to a different level of thinking, which is not a bad idea. The point is we are the mother's of the church, men and women, the caretakers of children of God, the caretakers of the young disciples of Christ as setting example and being advisor. Yet it more then caring about younger believers but those not saved as well in the church. Best if we going to think on these things to start with the marriage to Christ through salvation being the beginning point of our own faith, and our journey ahead with Christ and learning about the Holy Spirit, (emphasis placed last month after Easter on the Holy Spirit) Our journey does not end with salvation it is the beginning point and we also need the fuel for the journey. God give me gas for truck and keep me trucking for the Lord. P.S. Please celebrate Mother's day at home, and with your Mom, for our mother's are truly special to us.  |
Let Us Begin To Celebrate by Christina Farris 5/10/2020 Let us begin to celebrate God's victory over a virus, that still is running in many direction. If you ever played PacMan you know the ghost will take you eventually no matter how good your are at running from them. You run through one maze or another and eventually you are trapped and you life springs anew, only to be caught again and have to start over. Life is not over until your last breath is taken. Let us not fall into a place of not racing through life, and just allowing the devil to win, but stand up and fight with God(Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Following in God direction and design of technology, and science. God did not say quit striving in faith, or quit walking through the wilderness except to rest. God says follow him, follow Jesus(His word and Son) follow the direction of the Holy Spirit. Follow in Faith first and obedience and you will have victory. Turn from sin and just believe. Run the race set before you. Let us celebrate the closeness God is providing for vaccines and other solutions against a deadly virus. Thanking God for those he has healed miraculously and bring that inter peace to those family that have lost loves ones to this pandemic. Remember God told Noah had to build an ark, told Moses how to build a Tabernacle, told Solomon how to build His temple, and told Joshua and Gideon how to fight in battle. Let us rejoice for the victory is the Lord's to win. |
 Graduation 2020 As many graduates this year have received there diploma, I can not help but think how many have experienced a very unique graduation all because of Corona virus. Graduates you are begining a journey in your life that is far different then of those preceding you. There always been those going through hardship, but this is hardship of country caused by pandemic, and though there maybe more jobs available in some ways as you already know the job market just got harder. My prayers for the class of 2020 is that God will keep your path straight as you journey in life ahead. That you follow after Christ and take his path of hope and peace that will last a life time. Only God can help you in the days of ahead when life is so uncertain even with precaustions. Do not fear the virus that you can not see, but fear the God you can not see, but can know he does exist and have a relationship with. Take Christ as your Savior from your sins(your eternal salvation) this year and with you on the journey of life and adulthood. He loves you and you will make mistakes and have victories throughout your life. No one lives it perfectly but Jesus and no one can live it victoriously without Christ Jesus. |
 Praying For Our Nation Year Round! by Christina Farris 4/01/2020 The world and our nation needs continual prayer. I only had one picture in the card section in the National Prayer section that really should be a global prayer section. Dear Heavenly Father1. help our nation, our counties and our towns including our leaders and individuals in our nation and places around the world enabling not just our missionaries, but our global leaders. 2. Lord help our nations fight globally for victory over diseases and things that divide our country that are negative to society. It not just about praying for people to be saved, yet it is one the first things we ask you for, that you will heal the world spiritual, by enable all to believe in your name. 3. Lord help people to work together to resolve global, economic and health issues. To work as a global team for the betterment of society. 4. Lord during this crisis let it be not just our land, and area, but a tool to teach each other around the globe. Lord strengthen medical teams both rescue, emergency room, hospitals, doctors and nursing in every care unit around the globe and the hospital ships on our shores, that are station to help with pandemics as well as tents and other places set up to help in crisis situation. 5. Lord we pray for the war of illegal drugs will be put to a rest within our own borders to expand the globe against the slavery of drugs used to only to make a person delusional and high. 6. Lord if you not going to heal miraclously, help those that have knowledge to make better drugs to be made to treat and heal. 7. Lord if you are not going to give us the miracle of immediate deliverance, then help science and technology to gain the knowledge to cure disease that only you have been able to heal to mend our land permanently, to give them wisdom and knowledge to bring hope. Lord never allow us to forget your power of healing and protection in time of crisis of individuals, as well globally. Let us not forget you are always victorious. Let us not forget you are the creator of all creation. In Jesus precious name, Amen. |
