Kick Off To School Year 2016

As Students from all walks of life from the very young elementary age to the adult world take steps to go to school, we are celebrating the kickoff to the school year for those brave hearts that are waiting for a new year of learning and fun. To the teachers waiting for their classrooms to be full once more. With eager students desiring to learn from there teacher hopefully learning the skills to survive in the change world around them.

May the kickoff be that ball flying to the goaled post,and it will not to be reached until the end of the year. Teacher know it will be a long year, so the kickoff must be a short punt to get your attention. Once those points are made they can not be undone. For the well deserved points the student can use it to achieve something else in life. After all is not school building walls of success for business world. Whether it be building a 100ft story building of blocks or a one story building of blocks. Each year will build on the next as you stay in school, preparing you for the day you take flight into that career.

Daniel 5:23-31 KJV (23) But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: (24) Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. (25) And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. (26) This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. (27) TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. (28) PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. (29) Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. (30) In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. (31) And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

The curse of the ancient king Nebuchadnezzar son Belshazzar was now king and his wife requested the king to send for Daniel to interprete the writing on the wall when the kings sorcers and magicians could not. Daniel went into great detail of Belshazzar the king wickedness during his reign. As Daniel was giving a warning in away that you really just do not want me to tell you what God wrote on the wall before your very eyes. Daniel then gave the interpretation and the king that night was killed and a new leadership was established. God has used writing for judgment with the reading of the law that convicted the sinful man. This writing did not bring conviction on the king. God also writes on the walls of the heart of each believer his laws. Each law writen can bring conviction to our soul or a warning to our hearts not to do something. The writing is clear that God is sending a message to each believer of His call on their life to live a holy life. If only the king could have yielded to the warning and repented maybe God's would of spared the kings life.

What we must remember as a born again believer that the words writen on our hearts first say we are a child of the King. The second is his statues to follow after His Spirit and His will. 3. To love God first and to love others as ourself.

What are you writing on social media, is it the love of God or the love the world. Are you sharing the hope and peace God gives you or the desires and longings of the world. Social media can be a place to share the Gospel if every born again Christian would share. One verse, one link to salvation message, or just sharing your friendship with another. What are you writing on your walls. Think would God be angry. What if God wrote on your wall what would He say about you?

The Rio Summer games are soon to begin. Many Americans as well as around the world sit and watch at the minimum highlights from the olympic games and at the most all the competitions that they are awake for. Let us pray for those that are honoring healthy competition between our nations this season. May God bless the atheletes as they entertain the world with their talents and skills.

P.S. Remember the training of athelete is not easy task, but every Christian is in training for God's race toward heaven. A healthy diet of food/God's Word and drinks/power of the Spirit along with discipline and rest, make for good runners

Every Christian that goes to public school carries the light of Christ in school. Consider sending your kids to public school to be a testimony of the power of Jesus. Learning to work with others and sharing faith when the chance arises outside the classroom. The Bible still there as long as the believer there in the room. Do not worry about those schools that refuse to allow Bible in. They must accept your child and treat him/her fairly according to the law.
