What The Site Cross
Means To Me

The National Day Of Prayer is the one day our nation comes before the Lord in humbleness. Though many groups pray there only one God to pray to, who is the God and Creator of us all.

Memorial Day
by Christina Farris 5/1/2015

As another year of memories come and tears spring a new with the memory of each man and woman that has served our nation whether in police, military, police, and CIA. Our nation greatness is not based on people of wealth but freedom of the past and present. The wealth might run the show, but it those who bare the cross to rescue the world, their communities from enemies attack. Our nation uniforms declare who we are, but it is what Americans do that declares who we are. Let's us remember all America who fight to keep our nation safe and secure in the time of peace and the time of war.

Mother's Day Cards
Special Days Often Overlooked
by Christina Farris 5/1/2015

Nurse Day and Teachers day often over looked, but maybe perhaps loyalty day is least remember by our nation. Nurses and Teachers jobs are almost like a parent. Nurses caring for the sick and the teacher caring for the learning needs of each of their students. Mother's caring around the clock where their children are. Nuturing and only betraying their children to family, and friends of the latest stunt or mishap that brought them laughing almost to the point of rolling on the floor. Yet the point Mothers turn their duties to the nurses in the medical field only when they have no choice, giving up their rights as teacher, to benefit learning skills, and social skills of the public and private classroom of life. Each good teacher vowing they do their best to help their students and nurse vowing they do their best to care for and help their patients in place of mother's loving care. Today is Loyalty Day May 1st. The most loyal people are mother's, nurses and teachers. As you are reminded of Mother's Day, Teacher's Day and National Nurses Day, may you be reminded to say thank you to those special people.

Quiet Reflections: To The Graduates of 2016
Christina Farris 5/1/2016

To the graduating Class of 2016, May God grant you the wisdom as you travel the road of life. A road not always paved in gold or even gravel. Yet it is a road non the less. Try new things, find out about the world you are in. The most of all consider walking the road of peace and mercy with all people to achieve not greatness but human decency that the world desperately needs. May you put God and Christ before you has you travel the next road in life. Do not forget the good things taught and put the evil behind you.

Proverbs 3:4-8 KJV
(4) So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
(5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
(6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(7) Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
(8) It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
