Dailies For January

Month Of January:
New Beginings and God Enabling Self-Improvement 2017

by Christina Farris 1/01/2017

No doubt many people will begin New Year with a new resolution of some sort, whether it is to loose weight gained at Christmas, begin a yearly project or read a book a month. Last year I went on a journey to set a new theme a month for devotions. Some months are easier to plan around with holidays and such, but January to talk about resolutions seem almost undone unless God is making the change in one's life. We begin this month is how can God and Christ change yours and my life for the better. How can God's involvement change us. We will learn about how others before us has changed because of what God said spoke to them. Let us explore the word of God together this year.

Prayers For Highway Snow Removal and Disaster Crews
by Christina Farris 1/1/2017

The warning of the season of snow only reminds me of how many hours my own husband at one time plowed snow. The men on the streets, working water, sewer, garabage, snow removal and so forth needs our prayer. It is not a safe job but a necessary job and even when all precaustions are taken. Yet rescue and fire fighters are known to have to go through severe storms to aid someone. Let us keep them in prayer through the snowy season the next several months. Keep medical crews in hospitals as well during this season fighting dangerous germs, and so forth in our hospitals. It time to stay home people until the weather is better. May God bless our snow crews.
