Month Of December

The time of year we think about the precious gift of God that came not under a tree but in a little manger,and not in castle or fancy hotel, but born in stable. The simplicity of birth, with a mysterious conception to those of faith in the virgin birth. In modern world the virgin birth seems like a far fetched idea unless one has faith in a God that can defy nature ability through the spoken word. Science looks for signs of God through creation failing at the issue of faith that God said and it was so. God does show proof of his handiwork through nature processes but also unnatural processes too. Conception of the Messiah through Virgin birth is such a process not define by natural or scientifice realm. Just like spiritual birth is not define by science but by the Holy Spirit of each believer. Mary in Luke 1 said let is be as the Lord has spoken to the angel Gabriel, never going beyond that thought of is this impossible but how can it happen and taking Angel Gabriel's word that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and she would conceive not by natural means but by the word of God of promise.

This Christmas as hope rest in the Messiah return let us not forget that we might ask how and when, but the answer still the same His return is in a cloud, and by the word of God saying Son bring my people home. Time is and will be at the time the Father God has appointed and not before.

May You have a wonderful Christmas celebrating and remembering the true meaning of Christmas and that is the celebration of Christ birth and future return.

Reflection Of Old

As Old year ends let us remember in Christ we are a new creation upon belief In Him. This year has had many joys as well as tears as I sat and wrote out each devotion. Yet with each struggle, there was great joy along the way. Something that is important to me is family, yet my family might think I do not feel this way at times especially the past few years. I hope to change that. As I settle into a new routine this year of computer programming as well as planning a new month agenda, I find myself looking back and saying Lord did we really accomplish all that. And it is if God says, yes my child all things are possible through faith in me. I say okay Lord what is next.
