Today message is called:
The Sanitation Disposal Of Our Hearts
Today Scripture passage comes from
Mark 7:1-23 KJV
Now let back up Jesus does not deal with the issue of the law until start first talking about outward cleaniliness. Traditions of man often cause a disturbance when people do not meet certain standards. The washing of hands before a meal by Jewish tradition made a man clean and dirty hands defile a man. Is cleanness so sacred that if you starving with no water one will not eat? Is tradition so important that one would not feed a homeless person. If a homeless person is trying to share a meal with you and you did not bring it or buy, I guarantee that you probably will reject the food he found in the street, garabage can or who knows where, unless you are homeless too. Is the sanitation of our world making us sick. Sanitation of waste is sent to a cess pool after being cleansed of harmful bacteria. Yet if it used on our food supply for manure is it hurting our crops and vegetation. Manure from cows fresh off the farm is also use to fertilze soil without processing it. Manure has been used for millions of years, and yet no one ask what is hormone ejections in cows doing to our soil is it effecting our crops because of the manure used on crops. People worry about bacteria and crops but seldom worry about other things that could be effecting plants and our natural resources of food. In truth our bodies naturally purge all impurities from it. Even in the times of illness our bodies go in overdrive to purge disease from us. Jesus purges our heart through the word of God. The things the defile a person begins in the heart and is a desire, longing, want or even an idea. The I never did that before let see how that works. No wrong is ever began with okay let us just do it, it more like knowing something wrong but trying it anyway with or without time of consideration of the consequences of that wrong. After receiving Christ as Lord, one is a new creation in Christ but the mud of this world still gets on us. One needs to allow Christ the Word God to continue the sanitation process of our hearts. It is the mud that ruin a Christian purity. The impurities that effects our relationship with God. Abraham relationship continued despite having two wives. Yet the second wife was because of lack of faith in God to perform a miracle with Abraham aged wife Sarah. Yet God still performed a miracle of Sarah giving birth despite the sin. Did our sin keep God away, no. Adam and Eve hid from God in the garden of Eden. God did not hide from us. He did not walk away from us because of our failure. The human instinct is to run from a perfect God. Even Israel ran when they heard God's voice after the commandments were given. They requested Moses to be their intercessor, but Moses was only a man. God spoke through Moses to the people. It interesting to think only one man every was lost from God his name is Cain, for God cast him out of his sight. God even talks to Satan in the story of Job. God's willingness to talk to us does not change the fact sin keeps us separated from God. Sin caused our separation from God in the original sin of man. Without God's salvation plan the separation between man and God still exist, that why Jesus came and died for our sins to be payment for our sins and then rose to victory. Through the washing and regeneration of the word of God in our lives, our lives become spotless and free from sin, yet it is a continual process called sanctification. Jesus uses the digestive process to show how God must purify our hearts from sin through repentance. That our sin can not remain. The knowledge of sin we do is death but the act of repentance and allowing Him to change us sanitizes us from sin. Even when we do sin we have an advocator called Jesus. Someone that intercedes for us. Saying Father forgive them. Yet we must receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to receive forgiveness of sin. |
